A Minna Magistrates' Court on Friday ordered the incarceration in prison custody of a 70-year-old man, Udo Udo, for allegedly raping two girls.

The accused was arraigned on a count of rape, contrary to Section 283 of the Penal Code.‎

The Police Prosecutor, Inspector Ahmed Ali, told the court that a member of a vigilance group attached to the Emir's palace in Suleja arrested and brought the accused to the police station on Oct. 11.
