Nigerian University To Start Studying Nollywood As A Course

The Vice-Chancellor of Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, Prof. AbdulRsheed Na' Allah says that the institution Will Soon Begin To Study Nollywood.
Na' Allah disclosed this on Monday, in his opening address at the Conference on African Cinema, with the theme; "African Cinema and the Supernatural", organised by the University.
Prof. AbdulRsheed Na' Allah, says he has inaugurated a committee for the establishment of the centre for Nollywood studies in the University.
He said that when operational, the centre would be charged with the responsibility of highlighting the role and effect of Nollywood films in the society.
Na' Allah said that the conference was part of the University's aim of building bridges between scholars and those who promote culture outside the university.
