Glo/CAF Awards: Enyeama, Ahmed Musa Makes Africa XI Team As Enyeama Laments

Despite losing the main award to Yaya Toure, Super Eagles skipper and shot stopper,Vincent Enyeama and Ahmed Musa were however named in CAF Africa XI for 2014.
Goalkeeper Enyeama was beaten to the prestigious CAF African Player of the Year by Cote d'Ivoire skipper, Yaya Toure, while Ahmed Musa was on the five-man shortlist for the award.
Other players on the Africa XI are Kwadwo Asamoah, Asamoah Gyan (Ghana), Pierre-Emerick Aubameyeng (Gabon), Jean Kasusula (DR Congo) and Yacine Brahimi (Algeria).
Lille shot stopper, Enyeama, was also the goalkeeper in the Africa XI for 2013.

Vincent Enyeama has however stated that he has no regret losing the award to Toure saying he deserves it more than anyone. He however lamented that his pain at this period was due to Super Eagles' failure to qualify for the African Nations Cup which begins in a few weeks.
