"it saddens when parents refused to teach their wards the basic things and contents of the African culture and their tribe and people perceive others who can't speak english as illiterates even if you can speak the language of your own ancestors, you still call them illiterate because they cannot speak the language of foreigners. It is the mindset and the mis-education of Africans in general. The culture of the Africans is the responsibilities of the African to protect and preserved but it should also be institutionalised because the Government has a role to play in giving us power that we need to build up the confidence to be proud of our own culture".
On 2015 Elections...
On his opinion on the forth coming elections, he said he thinks the election would be a very interesting one because it is an election for the politicians alone and not for any member of the electorate. Seun Kuti further disclosed that the job of the opposition in any civilised country is to criticise the activities of the incumbent Government and that is where democracy comes up. He said criticism from an opposition party helps in checks and balancing the activities of the incumbent Govenment. It is the only way for improvements and developments, even Obama is been criticised he said. With so many things to be criticised presently however shows the Government is a failure, he concluded.
Political Affiliation
When asked for his political ideology, he didn't hesitate to say " My political ideology is Africanism as my father has thought me. Africanism is Socially progressive, it is progressive socialism. The representation of the people with resources. The Resources only represent but a few people in our society" he further posits that the people should come first in every decisions the Government makes.

He made mention of Regan an Actor who became the President of the united state of America. He said people become tools for other politicians if they are not too vast in politics. The platform at which they venture into also matters knowing fully well that the party's interest supersede one's personal interest and it is not possible for them as youths to change the manifestos and ideology of the party, even if they really have the interest of the people in mind.
