Flying Eagles' Usman Hassan Saleh was injured after the national U20 team got involved in a slight bus crash at the main gate of the Tema Sports Stadium on Wednesday.
Manu Garba's lads had defeated the Ghana U20 team 2-0 in an international friendly and were returning to their M Plaza Hotel residence when the VIP Marcopolo bus conveying the team crashed into the main gate of the stadium.
The players were discussing the outcome of the game when they heard a loud noise as the right hand screen of the bus screen got
shattered.
There were no serious causalities except Saleh who was hit by the broken glass that got into his eyes and was attended to by the team
doctor and some concerned Ghanaians.
Fifteen minutes after the incident, the team left for their hotel. They are expected back in the country on Thursday to continue preparations for the 2015 African Youth Championship in Senegal.
