There is celebration in the house of comedian AliBaba as his beautiful wife has risen to the position of the Managing Director of Enterprise Bank.
Formerly the bank's Executive Director of Retail Banking, Mrs Akpobome was promoted and announced as the acting Managing Director of Enterprise Bank for a transition period by the management of Heritage Banking Company Limited.
Mary Akpobome is an experienced banker with over 20-years of general banking experience, 3-years of which was acquired by working with Heritage Bank.
She has been entrusted with the huge task of managing the internal transition processes within Enterprise Bank as well as ensuring seamless integration of the bank into the Heritage Bank operating system and culture in a way that protects all stakeholder interests.
According to sources close to the bank, Akpobome's emergence as the Managing Director of Enterprise bank was quite expected as she was a key executive member in the acquisition of Enterprise Bank by Heritage Bank in 2014.
