Kaduna Governor Pelted With Stones By Hoodlums In Four Different Towns

The convoy of Kaduna State Governor, Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, was pelted with stones by hoodlums in four major towns during recent campaign rallies, the Chairman, Media and Publicity Committee, Yero/Bajoga Campaign Organization, Yakubu Lere, said at a press conference in Kaduna yesterday.
He said the governor's campaign team was attacked by hoodlums sponsored by opposition groups in about four major towns during which three people were killed.
"Governor Yero's entourage was attacked several times at Udawa along Birnin Gwari road, Bakin Ruwa in Igabi LG, Panbeguwa in Kubau LG and Ungwan Bawa in Lere LG", he said.
The campaign spokesperson also said sponsored thugs destroyed several billboards and vehicles belonging to the PDP in various locations across the state.
