Ha! Police Declare Kwankwaso Wanted For Electoral Malpractice

The Kano State Police Command has declared the Former Kano State Commissioner for Rural and Community Development Alhaji Illayasu Kwankwaso wanted for his alleged involvement in electoral fraud at Kautan Mata Ward in Madobi Local Government Area, during the State gubernatorial election.
The Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ibrahim Idris said this on Tuesday while addressing newsmen at Police Headquarters, Bompai.
While parading suspects arrested in connection with electoral violence, he disclosed that Kwankwaso scaled the fence when detectives came to apprehend him.
The Commissioner explained that the suspect was indicted by 14 political thugs who confessed that Kwankwaso was the mastermind behind their plot to set electoral materials ablaze.
According to him, "The suspects indicted one Musa Illyasu Kwankwaso as their sponsor. Detectives from SCID stormed his house but unfortunately, he jumped over the fence, abandoned his regalia (Jumper) and escaped into the bush.
"The man-hunt for him and four other suspects still at large is in progress."
