In keeping with its celebration of the UEFA Champions League, Heineken will bring former Barcelona midfielder Deco to Lagos on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 for the second leg, quarter final match between Barcelona and Paris Saint Germain.
A former Champions League winner, Deco will be at the Heineken House in Ikoyi to watch the game live and also interact with fans from all over world on Twitter during the game via the @Heineken handle using the hashtag #ChampionTheMatch.
A former Portuguese international, the 37-year-old won two UEFA Champions League titles with FC Porto in 2004 and FC Barcelona in 2006 playing alongside South African star, Benny McCarthy and Cameroonian international, Samuel Etoo at both teams.
He moved to Chelsea in 2008 where he played for two seasons under coach Jose Mourinho before heading to Fluminense in Brazil
to end his career.
Born in Brazil in 1977, Deco moved to Portugal in 1997 to play for Benfica. After receiving citizenship, he played for the Portuguese national team where he won 75 caps.
