President Of Zambia Dies At 77

The President of Zambia has been reported dead in a London hospital where he was receiving treatment for an unknown sickness.
President Michael Sata died at the King Edward VII hospital at the age of 77 years. He was reported to have left Zambia last week with close aides and family members to seek medical attention abroad due to his ill-health.
Born Michael Chilufya Sata on July 6th, 1937, Sata is the 5th President of Zambia after previously serving as a minister under President Frederick Chiluba.
It is now expected that his deputy, Guy Scott would now be sworn in as substantive President. Sata had initially left the country in the hands of defense minister Edgar Lungu
