Arsene Wenger has a reputation for spotting future prospects and the manager has plotted a massive coup by securing the signature of hot prospect Brooklyn Beckham sniffing off competition from rival clubs Manchester united and Chelsea.

The 15 years old son of Manchester United legend David Beckham opted to sign his first professional contract for arsenal ahead of his father's former club Manchester United and London rivals Chelsea. 

We understand that Brooklyn Beckham has been training with the club's academy on trials and was said to have exhibited the qualities that made Sir alex Ferguson snap up his father in july 1991 at the tender age of 16.

An unnamed source from Arsenal was quoted to have said""Brooklyn is talented and he has stood out in all of the training sessions and games he has played. He has had other teams sniffing around and it was always going to be a case of when, not if, he was signed up by a big-name club. Arsenal realize he can be a huge talent. They have seen that potential and protected their asset. The club has signed him, fending off interest from Manchester United and Chelsea.
