The Independent National Electoral Commission has denied accusations in some quarters that it is plotting to favor the Peoples Democratic Party at the upcoming 2015 elections.

In a statement forwarded to BlackBox Nigeria's Correspondent in Abuja by the Chief Press Secretary to INEC Chairman, Kayode Idowu, the commission disclosed that it is committed to issuing the Permanent Voters Card to all registered voter.

INEC further said that it is working to resolve the “temporary challenges” witnessed during the last distribution of PVC in some of the nine states of the federation.

The statement also said INEC has made provision for eligible persons for whom PVCs could not be printed due to data loss or defective data to come out from Wednesday, November 12 to Monday, November 17, for their data to be recaptured during the Continuous Voters Registration.
