Super Sunday!!! Arsenal Visits City In Make Or Mar Battle
Add BBN on 2BAFB965
Its a showdown at the Eastland as Manchester City lock horn with Arsenal in a make or mar contest. Both teams cant afford to lose a grip with City fighting to re_claim the title and Arsenal trying to maintain their traditional Top4 finish. This promises to be a belter. To see David Silva and Alexis Sanchez on the same pitch will be a real treat based on their current form. Both will be worthy candidates for Player of the Year.
Silva's impish spells have conjured up points in a period when they've been below their best. Sanchez has inspired Arsenal with his goals and work-rate to nine wins in their last 12 games.
Things looking bright for the Gunners.
Mesut Ozil, Aaron Ramsey and Theo Walcott are all fit again why Mathieu Debuchy and Mikel Arteta wont be available. Santi Cazorla has been in superb form. Tomas Rosicky has taken his chance well.
Olivier Giroud's power and aerial ability will trouble City, who must start Vincent Kompany if he's fully fit.
The 2-2 draw at the Emirates in September was thrilling. This will be again - if the current Arsenal turn up and not the side that was hopelessly naive at City last season.
They were five points clear at the top of the league when they lost 6-3 in the first of three capitulations at their title rivals (followed by 5-1 at Liverpool and 6-0 at Chelsea).
If they are to get back into the title race, they need away wins in the massive games. On their visits to the other teams who finished in the top nine last season, they only won once - against Tottenham - and picked up four points from 24.
City are unbeaten in 12 league games this season and they have the wonderful Sergio Aguero far fitter than he was in his cameo comeback at Goodison.
He and Sanchez have scored or created more league goals than anyone this season. City would miss their mildfield maestro due to the ongoing AFCON. But are expected to put up a good fight in the mildfied with other available options.
