I would never be a spare tyre under Buhari -Prof. Osinbajo Kicks

Professor Yemi Osinbajo (SAN), vice presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), has said that the office of Vice President of Nigeria under APC, if elected on February 14, will not be a "spare tyre" function.
Osinbajo said in Lagos on Sunday during a parley with health care professionals under the auspices of the Health Care Federation of Nigeria, that APC has made adequate plans to ensure that the National Economic Council which comes under the Vice Presidency is a vibrant body in line with the 1999 Constitution.
Mallam Garba Shehu, Director of Media and Publicity of APC Presidential Campaign Organization, quoted Osinbajo in a statement as saying that the incoming APC government will partner with the private sector in the Health care industry and expend a minimum of $1 billion on health insurance.
Moreover, the government will extend its partnership with the private sector in other sectors of the economy to ensure the lowering of the cost of funds to provide easy access to capital and affordable credit.
