PDP Wins Cross River Governorship Election

The Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate in Cross River State, Prof. Ben Ayade, has been declared the winner of the governorship election in the state, having polled 342,016 votes, ahead of the All Progressives Congress candidate in the state, Odey Ochicha, with votes totalling 53,983.
The Labour Party candidate, Fidelis Ugbo, garnered 36,918 votes.
State Collating Officer, Prof. Comfort Ekpo, declared Ayade the winner in the early hours of Monday in Calabar.
