BATTLE FOR LAGOS APC: Live Updates #LagosAPCDecides
The Governorship Primary was supposed to be held at the Party Headquarters in Abuja according to the party’s guidelines but APC Lagos Chapter applied for a change of venue for convenience.
Earlier today, over 3000 delegates and other stakeholders were seen entering Onikan stadium for the accreditation which started at 9am, voting was scheduled to commence by 12noon.
One of the leading contender for the party's Gubernatorial ticket Senator Ganiyu Solomon (GOS) arrived at the venue at 11: 50, while Electoral experts arrives at the venue at 12: 15. Election is likely to commence any moment from now...

2:48pm: Voting officially underway as 251 Epe LG delegates take the lead. Delegates are to leave the stadium immediately after voting.
3:26pm: Thugs have pulled down Onikan gate has people troop in unrestricted.
3:33pm: Situation still under control, only 1 Local Government out of 20 has been able to vote as at this time.
3:45pm: 498 delegates from Ikorodu filed in to vote.
4:15pm: Election still ongoing. there are strong premonitions this might dovetail into the night. We only hope there are adequate preparations for any eventuality.
5:45pm: 291Delegates from Epe kicked off the votings, followed by 313 from Badagry although 8 refused to vote, Ojo delegates 252 have voted, 193 delegates from Agege have just finished voting. It's now the turn of 214 delegates from Ifako-Ijaiye.
5:52pm: Election is going smoothly, supporters of GOS and Ambode are at each others throat shouting Ambode nio! GOS nio!
Moreso, most of the aspirants are leaving the venue, but Ambode, GOS and about two are still very visible. Hamzat left immediately the election commenced, there are reports that he left in annoyance. The reason as at the time of this report cannot be ascertained. The out going Speaker of LAHA, Rt. Hon. Ikuforiji just left too.
6:14pm: 280 delegates from Mushin are queuing up to vote.
6:24pm: 583 delegates from Alimosho LG now voting... the hightest number of delegates so far.
6:33pm: 329 delegates of Eti-Osa LG now heading to the poll. A source close the Speaker said he will return to the venue. As at the time of filing this report, none of the Aspirants who left had return.
