Chocolate city artist, Ice prince Zamani is most definitely a horse or how do you describe animals with untiring stamina...a dog maybe.

Former Head of State Major General Muhammadu Buhari(rtd), BlackBox Nigeria can reliable confirmed had clinched the APC presidential ticket after winning over 47% vote cast at the ongoing APC Presidential Primaries at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.

GMB pulled a total of 3430 votes ahead of his closest rival Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso, who had 974 votes. Former VP, Atiku Abubakar came distant third with 954 votes,  Rochas Okorocha's votes are still being counted as at the time of filing this report while Sam Nda-Isaiah is yet to be counted.

As for Nda'Isaiah, the last time he got a vote, there was a loud applause in the stands. His agent appears to be cooling off. The call of Buhari as votes are being sorted is quite overwhelming and the agents here have had to substitute themselves due to the tiring task at hand.

A former minister of education and former Vice-President of the World Bank, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, who is also key member of the Bring Back Our Girls Group (#BBOG) on Wednesday, denied having any amorous relationship with former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Her denial was an aftermath of the widespread circulation of a photograph showing her in a very warm embrace with Obasanjo where the former President is seen holding Ezekwesili from behind and giving her a peck on the cheek.

The controversial picture was taken on Tuesday during the public presentation of Obasanjo's three-part autobiography entitled, 'My Watch'.

Many online commentators expressed displeasure with Ezekwesili and Obasanjo for behaving in such a manner in public.

They accused the former minister of education, who once served in Obasanjo's cabinet, of being indecorous as a married woman and passing a wrong message to young girls who look up to her as a role model.

A group known as 'Hope for Nigeria' stated that it was taken aback by the decision of the two public figures to behave themselves that way in public.

"This is Dr. Oby Ezekwesili the #BringBackOurGirls crusader with former President Obasanjo at his book launch.

"Was it that Ezekwesili forgot that she was in a public place and a married woman? She threw caution to the wind. Anyway, we saw her sticking out her finger in excitement, while the 'Chemistry' lasted.

"What manner of role model will this woman be to young Nigerian girls who look up to her?" the group wrote, after posting the controversial photograph on its Facebook page.

But Ezekwesili has fired back at her accusers, describing those who have reacted to the photo by calling her unprintable names as "gutter minds."

The former minister stated that Obasanjo merely gave her a "boisterous greeting", adding that only "impure hearts" would be suspicious of the motive behind his expression of goodwill.

She blamed declining "family values" for her critics' line of thought, noting that those "purveyors of the filthy conversation" were merely "living for the gutter."

"My former boss – President Obasanjo – gave me a boisterous greeting at his event yesterday (Tuesday) and the impure in heart now turn it to lurid tales.

"Restoring family values will also help take us back to a descent society. It is clear that many among us have lost our pure hearts.

"Let us leave them to their lowliness. It is out of the abundance of the filthiness or purity of heart that the mouth speaks," Ezekwesili tweeted.

Days after a maid reportedly abducted the children of her employers in Lagos, another has connived to rob them of their properties with dare devil armed robbers BlackBox Nigeria gathers...

Operatives at the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, Lagos, are currently investigating two robbers, allegedly invited by a housemaid to rob her boss (names withheld) in Magodo Estate, Lagos State.
According to reports, the housemaid, simply identified as Mary, connived with the robbers, identified as Ikong Daniel, 22, her lover, and Pius Dennis, 20, to rob her boss a few days after she was employed.
During interrogation, the suspects revealed that Mary took them into her boss' bedroom, where they stole her money, gold jewellery and other valuables.
However, trouble started when the maid escaped with the proceeds of the operation. Unfortunately, Ikong Daniel and Pius Dennis were arrested while attempting to escape.

Suspect's account
Confessing to the crime, Daniel said: "It was my girlfriend, Mary, that perfected the plan to rob her madam. She recently started work there as a housemaid and invited us to the house. I did not plan with Mary to rob her boss. We have been dating for about three months.
"Dennis got involved because I invited him. I told him that when he closed from work he should come to my house, because it had been over a year since we saw each other.
"After he closed, we went to my house in Ikorodu. When we got home, my girlfriend, Mary, called me on phone that I should come to where she was working at Magodo.
"I did not have money. It was Dennis that loaned me money for transportation from Ikorodu to Magodo. When we got there, she opened the gate and took us inside.
"When we got there, she said we should come inside that we have an assignment to carry out. She took us inside to her madam's bedroom and asked us to hold the woman that there was money in the house.
"I do not know the exact amount or the worth the jewelleries she collected.
"It was Mary that also brought the knife we used to frighten the woman during the operation. I assisted her to hold the woman, while she parked her valuables.
"Mary, who is also from Cross River State, was able to escape with the proceeds from the operation.
"She promised to share with us whatsoever we made from the operation."
Dennis, a commercial bike operator, confirmed Daniel's story, adding "we were almost out of the estate when operatives of Oodua Peoples Congress, OPC, apprehended us and brought us to Special Anti Robbery Squad, SARS.
"It was Daniel that held the madam down, while his girlfriend packed the jewellery, money and other valuables.
"The mistake I made was not leaving when I realized that his girlfriend had invited us to rob her boss."‎

The Enugu PDP governorship primary election held on Monday, December 8, 2014 ended in crisis as the aspirants strongly disagreed with the Electoral Panel from the party's National Secretariat over the list of delegates used for the exercise.
The disagreement forced some of the aspirants to hold parallel primaries which produced three candidates.
The governorship candidates laying claims to the PDP ticket are Senator Ayogu Eze, Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and Professor Onyeke O. Onyeke, all from Enugu North senatorial zone where the governorship slot had been zoned by the party.
The disagreement that led to the disintegration of the aspirants on the day of the primaries was said to have been caused by the PDP Governorship Primaries Electoral Panel for the state headed by a Bayelsa Monarch, King Asara A. Asara.
Other members of the panel were Ukpai Ukairo (secretary), Saratu Umar, Engr Alamu Adeyemi and Ikeje Asogwa.
The party had before the governorship primaries conducted the State House of Assembly, House of Representatives and Senatorial primaries using the list of delegates elected at the November 1, 2014 ward congresses in the state. Although, there were parallel primaries in some of the constituencies, the exercise was conducted with the list of authentic delegates duly certified by the Federal High Court, Abuja.
Governor Sullivan Chime had assured party stakeholders at a meeting he summoned before the primaries began that only the delegates "approved by the Abuja Court" would participate in the primaries hence in most of the constituencies, the list of delegates contained in the Certified True Copy obtained from the court was used for the primaries.
But when the Governorship Electoral Panel arrived in Enugu for the primaries on Monday, the aspirants were shocked to hear the declaration by its chairman that another list of delegates were handed over to them by the National Secretariat for the governorship primaries.
Asara had on arrival in Enugu summoned all the governorship aspirants to a pre-primary briefing at the Allens Hotel, Independence Layout, Enugu. Aspirants present at the conference hall of the hotel were Senator Ayogu Eze, Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Hon. Eugene Odo, Chief Anayo Onwuegbu, Chief Sam Onyishi, Mr. Chinedu Onu and Prof Onyeke O. Onyeke.
While the meeting was holding at the Allens Hotel, accreditation of delegates was in progress at the Okpara Square while those accredited were being conveyed to the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium for the primaries. Majority of those present at the venue were officials of the state government and a few of the elected delegates.
When the authentic delegates arrived at the accreditation venue, gun-wielding security operatives at the entrance of Okpara Square drove them away and some of them who found their way to the accreditation table were told that their names were not on the delegates' list.
Consequently, they relocated to Filbon Hotel, New Haven to decide on the next line of action.
Asara informed the aspirants that the panel was in the state to conduct a transparent primaries and assured them that the panel would not be biased.
However, when the aspirants asked Asara to let them see the copy of the list of delegates they intended to use for the primaries, he told them that the list of delegates given to him from the PDP National Secretariat Abuja was different from the Federal High Court-Certified True Copy, which was shown to him at the meeting by Senator Eze.
King Asara insisted that the panel would not disclose the list of delegates to the aspirants at the meeting as it had no mandate to do so before the exercise.The statement that heightened suspicion among the aspirants that the panel was not in the state to conduct a free and fair primaries.

A High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Wuse Zone 2, Abuja on Wednesday ruled that former President Olusegun Obasanjo was in contempt of court for flouting it's orders restraining him from among others, publishing his autobiography, "My Watch."

Justice Valentine Ashi, in a ruling gave Obasanjo 21 days (from the day of service of the court's orders on him) show cause why he should not be punished for contempt for going ahead to publish the book in spite of the ex-parte interim order made by the court on December 5 and a pending libel suit before the involving him.

"The defendant, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo shall be given 21 days, from the day this order is served on him, to show cause, via affidavit, why he should not be punished for contempt committed by publishing and distributing for sale to the public, the book, My Watch, in plain disregard of the pendency of substantive the suit and the order of this court made on December 5, 2014 restraining him from doing so.

"The defendants, whether by himself, agents, servants, privies or whatever name called, is hereby restrained from further publication or offering for sale or distribution, in any way or manner, the book called My Watch or the like of the visual or written materials which contains a re-publication or statement extracted from the letter referred to by the plaintiff," the judge said.

Justice Ashi also ordered the Inspector General of Police (IGP), the Director General of the Department of State Services (DG, DSS) and the Comptroller of Customs to recover the published book from all book stands, sales agents, vendors, the sea and airports and deposit them with his court's registrar pending the determination of the substantive suit."

He ordered that the enrolled orders of the court be served on all media houses in the country and be equally served on the defendant by publication in two national dailies.

A short while ago, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was ratified as the candidate of the ruling PDP ahead of the 2015 election. Jonathan in his acceptance speech announced that his running mate would once again be his vice president Arch. Namadi Sambo who he described as "tested and loyal".

This put paid to different rumours which have been carried around recently that the President would be dumping Sambo ahead of 2015.

The PDP convention which had the absense of former President Olusegun Obasanjo was a mere walk over for the President after his only screened rival Abdul-Jeleel Tafawa-Balewa reportedly stepped down.
