Barcelona Football club of Spain have emerged the new champions of Europe following a 3-1 victory over Italian giant, Juventus.
"When you come to a Club like Barça, you know you are here to win. It's a dream come true", an excited Luis Suarez who scored one of the goals declared.
The Catalan side have succeeded in winning a treble this season.

Femi Gbajabiamila has emerged as the APC consensus candidate for the post of Speaker of th House House of Representatives.
BlackBox Nigeria early today reported the convergence of All Progressives Congress House of Representatives members-elect at the International Conference Centre(ICC), Abuja, for a possible mark or mar election.
#BBN360 can reliable report that following the straw election held today, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, representing Sururlere constituency 1, Lagos State, has emerged the party's candidate.
Gbajabiamila, polled 154 votes while his opponent, Hon. Yakubu Dogara, who walked out during the voting process had 3 votes.
Stating his reason for walking out of the election, Hon. Dogara alleged that it is a clear case of imposition and he would not be part of an open fraud.
Honourable Representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Hon. Babajimi Benson, who spoke with our correspondent in Abuja stated that the electioneering process is free and fair and that the allegation of impostion by Hon. Dogara are unfounded.

With the passage of the S3xual Offences Bill, 2015 by the senate on Wednesday, the legal age to have s3x in Nigeria has been pegged at 11 years and above. The bill prescribes life imprisonment for rapists and those who have s3xual intercourse with children (below 11 years).
The former President of the Senate, Sen. David Mark congratulated Sen. Chris Anyanwu, the sponsor of the Bill and expressed delight on the efforts of the committee to evolve a stronger law against s3xual violations. Anyanwu listed some of the s3xual offences captured by the bill to include gang r»pe, lacing drinks with drugs with intent to s3xually abuse, deliberately infecting partner with HIV and other diseases. Others include child s3x tourism, s3xual harassment and pr•stitution of persons with mental disabilities. Anyanwu added that passage of the bill "… is indeed a fulfilment of my mission in the Upper Chamber.''

Lamentations As Flood Take Over Lagos, Ogun Communities

The residents of Agbado Oja, Agbado/Ijaye junction, Opeilu and the junction that leads to Kola at Lagos /Abeokuta Express road continues to lament after a big flood stormed there domains.
The flood blocked the streets after a heavy rain yesterday as a result of which numerous cars have reportedly broken down on the road with many seen pushing the vehicles away from the road at exorbitant fees ranging from 1500 to 2000 being demanded by the young men in the area who have now turned it into a venture.
Some of the residents of the area while lamenting spoke with our correspondent.
Segun Rafiu, a resident of Opeilu said:"We have been affected negatively with the flood, it is only when this rain stop that people can go out to their places of work, not only to workers alone but to students in the area. It is only if you are going to trek to Agbado/junction that is where you will see a fair road to ijaye and from Opeilu to Agbado Oja is about 30 minute on a bus. Trekking will take about one hour but the road is in a terrible shape. It is time for residents to come together so that they can find a solution to the road, because the government dont even have our time" he concluded.
In another interview with Mr. Nurudeen Akinmisi, a resident of Adiyan, he said "Let me tell you something, you see Adiyan road is worst. Before you see a bus from Adiyan to Agbado during raining season or any time rain falls, it will take you 2hours because there are so many people going out to their various work places and the bus you are going to board will need to go through Oke Aro road to get to Agbado and that's a long distance and the funniest thing is you still need to face the Agbado Oja/Ijaye road. When you alight from any bus you board in agbado, you need to roll your trouser well unless, your cloth will be stained to the extent your work mate will think you are coming fron the village - it is time for the government to help us find solution to this roads" he murmured.
Mrs Oluwanisola Akaparo also has this to say:" the flood is really disturbing us in this neighborhood, there is no gutter that the water can pass through to a caner or river, the water is always left in the middle of the road until it is dry and as a result of this, cars and big trailers are always stalk at the middle of the road and that alone is a go slow on it own, when my kids are coming back from school there cloth and socks are always more than dirty, due to the bad road, constructing this road is the only way forward" she concluded.
The affected residents are seeking the help of the government to help with a convenient drainage system to avoid flood in the locality.

Everton have confirmed they will sign Tom Cleverley on a five year deal when his contract with Manchester United expires on July 1.
As revealed on Thursday, the England international turned down offers from four Premier League sides including Aston Villa, where he spent last season on loan, to complete a move to Goodison Park .

News reaching BlackBox Nigeria has it that a tanker filled with petrol has just fallen off the road at Idimu bus-stop along Ikotun road, Alimosho LG in Lagos.
Eye witness disclosed that some residents and passers-by had taken containers to siphon outpouring fuel before the fire started.

WHAT? Robbers Invade Lagos Secretariat Alausa, Carts Away Millions...

The Lagos State Ministry of Justice, Alausa Secretariat, Ikeja was on Friday, June 5, robbed.
According to Vanguard, armed robbers stormed the Ministry's Account Department through the roof, in the early hours of Friday and left with N3 million.
Insiders said the fund, which was meant to offset the allowances of about 40 ad-hoc staffers working as mediation officers for the ministry, was brought in at the close of work on Thursday and kept in one of the offices.
No arrests were made inspite of the security officers attached to the ministry.
It was gathered that about 20 civil servants and security officers attached to the department have been detained by the Alausa Police Station.
