BUSTED!!! 7 Drug Men Busted On One Flight, Excrete 8.7kg Cocaine In Abuja

49yrs old Fred Obi was about to board an Ethiopian Air flight from Abuja to Tel Aviv, Israel with a strange cargo allegedly concealed in his stomach when the law caught up with him.

He had ingested 1.594kg of c*****e. But he was not the only one boarding that same flight with intention of transporting narcotics they had ingested on November 22, 2014, when they were arrested by men of the NDLEA at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

Also arrested were Ekechi Ferdinand (36), Okonkwo Paul (20), Azubuogu Obumneme (30), Okechi Anthony (34), Anozie Henry (34) and Okafor Francis (51).

NDLEA spokesperson, Mr. Mitchell Ofoyeju, confirmed that the raid which was headed by the agency's commander at the Abuja Airport, Mr. Hamisu Lawan, turn out to be a revealing one…

The suspects, who were said to have been arrested and isolated, were soon made to excrete the drug they had ingested.

"The last of the suspects eventually finished excreting the drugs in his stomach this morning (Thursday, November 26)," Ofoyeju said.

Ferdinand excreted 1.616kg of c*****e, Paul – 1.103kg, Obumneme – 1.450kg, Anthony – 935 grammes while Henry exctreted 874 grammes of c*****e.

The oldest of the suspects, Francis, on his part excreted 1.167kg.

All the suspects, except Obi, were said to have Hong Kong as the destination on their tickets.

NDLEA Chairman, Ahmadu Giade, said that the arrest of the suspects was an added victory to the war against drug trafficking in the country.

He said, "Coming at a time when commanders of our agency are holding a summit to move the agency forward, this is a welcome development.

"Having seven suspected drug traffickers on a single flight is a reflection of the desperation of drug cartels.

But this will prove to them that the NDLEA has the capacity to stop drug trafficking no matter what method they employ.

"Fortunately for the suspects as well, our arrest has saved their lives because for the suspects heading to Hong Kong, it is clearly stated in their visas that drug trafficking in Hong Kong attracts the death penalty.

Nigeria has equally been saved from an embarrassment their arrest would have caused if they were caught over there."‎

President Bill Clinton Caught Staring At Boobs In New Selfie

To make matters worse for the former US prez, he was snapped looking at stunning brunette Ari'elle Avdali's assets at Jerusalem's Mount Herzl National Cemetery.

Seemingly unaware that a selfie was being taken, Clinton is seen looking downwards at Avdali's chest while she looks at the camera.

She shared the hilarious pic with the caption: "Billy boy checking on my tatas."

And of course that sent it instantly viral!

Just to heap more misery on poor Bill and his wandering eye, Avdali's friend posted it on social media site Reddit saying: "President Clinton didn't realize my friend was taking a selfie with him."

One person commented: "Oh Bill…never change" while another commented: "Classic Bill".

Clinton found himself embroiled in a s*x scandal during his second term in 1998 after an affair with intern Monica Lewinsky while she worked in the White House in 1995 and 1996.

It was during the subsequent investigation that Clinton uttered the infamous line: "I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky."

BBN Special Report! K1 De Ultimate: A King Without Contemporary

No comments :
Add BBN on 2BAFB965

The Nigerian music industry has over the years been bedevilled with all sorts of healthy rivalry which sometimes transforms into unwarranted animosity. From the days of the celebrated musical rancour between Juju exponents; Evangelist Ebenezer Obey and King Sunny Ade to the more vocal feud between the Late Sikiru Ayinde Barrister and General Kollington Ayinla, the indigenous music industry has always been one of supremacy contention among contemporaries. One is quick to remember the supremacy brawl between fuji acts Pasuma Wonder and Osupa Saheed. Not even the new generation musical acts are left out as Eedris and Ruggedman handily comes to mind without the exception of the beef between raves of the moment, Davido and Wizkid just to mention a few.
In all these, one man has conveniently stood alone enjoying his fame and dominance as an emperor of some sort.
Born Wasiu Ayinde Omogbolahan Anifowoshe in Agarawu, Lagos Island on March 3rd 1957, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal also known as K1 De Ultimate stormed the Nigerian music scene over three decades ago and since then have been one of Nigeria's biggest entertainment export.
Although he released his first album 'Iba' in 1979, Wasiu didn't get the needed recognition until 1984 when he released his nationally acclaimed hit album 'Talazo84' in his Talazo series which was described as one of the classics at the time. Away from the normal fuji which was initially formed out of local islamic chanting during the ramadan period, K1 brought freshness to the genre by incorporating modern instruments such as the saxophone, guitar etc. He increased to an upbeat tune the tempo of fuji to which was at the time dominated by Ayinde Barrister and Kollington Ayinla whose rivalry was perhaps more pronounced than the sound they played. Although Wasiu pitched tent with Barrister haven played in the Ibadan born Fuji legend's band but his fan base would quickly outshine both older musicians as time went by.
K1 and Olamide
K1's main tool was his appeal to the youths; a development which quickly projected him above his peers and senior colleagues in the industry. "When I started, I lifted it up from where I met it. I created the first upbeat tempo of Fuji music and was able to give it a kind of followership that most music forms didn't have. We were born to see music as being enjoyed by our fathers as serious, including the disco of then. The younger ones did not really have a style they could call their own", K1 revealed in an interview.

After 'Talazo', K1 also released several albums in quick succession with popular ones like 'Consolidation', 'Ultimate','Message', 'Legacy', 'Fuji Fusion', 'Flavours','Instinct', selling platinum copies.
Equally, popular live performances of this enigma which were released for sale also made impressive record sales. Asides mainstream music and album recording, K1 is reputed to have revolutionized live performance with his unique creative freestyle methods on stage.

From Wasiu Ayinde Marshal to Kwam 1 and now K1 De Ultimate, this enigmatic performer has continually adjusted to keep up with trends which has over the years endeared him to millions of fans. Even though the Ijebu, Ogun state originated musician has openly pitched his tent with the Nigerian opposition party; All Peoples Congress and now performs at most of the party's political rallies, this has in no way reduced his loyal fan base which cuts across all divisions from the youth, middle age and even the older populace. Some months ago, rumours had hit the airspace that the crooner would be contesting in next year's election. K1 himself seemingly confirmed this when he took to a social media platform and tweeted "2015 is real", a post which supposedly assured that he had a political interest.
K1 and daughter, Honey B

In a very competitive industry, one wonders how K1 has been able to keep up with being at the very top without a formidable competition. It would be recalled that the entrance of Sir Shina Peters and the release of the popular album 'Ace' had threatened Wasiu's youthful dominance but that would be later dusted aside as time went on. Another musician who threatened K1's reign was the arrival of bubble prince, Adewale Ayuba who also brought another unique and youthful feel to the fuji genre but again K1 outlived that threat and has today continued to remain on top. Although he has been involved in several controversies an example of which is his alleged feud with fellow fuji act Abass Akande Obesere and his reportedly recent squabbles with former protege Alabi Pasuma which led to several allegations levelled against him, he has continued to sway higher.
K1's kingship of the Nigeria indigenous music industry is in no way being threatened at least not in the recent future. He celebrated 40years on stage a few years ago but doesn't seem to be slowing down. The Fuji Maestro some months ago toured the world which would saw him transverse the continents of America, Europe, Asia with concluding concerts in the mother land of Africa.

Just last week, the entire country stood still for the K1 Live Unusual Concert which was a convergence of the creme of the Nigerian society.

It was a moment of great jubilation and serious funfair in the city of Benin, Edo State today as ex-minister of state for works and one-time President of the Energy Strategy Centre Engr. Chris Ogiemwonyi decamped from the PDP to the All Progressives Congress (APC) with over 2,000 followers.

The ground breaking event which took place at the Urhokpota Ground, Oba O Vonramwen Square, Benin City saw Engr. Chris Ogiemwonyi been massively received by party leaders and faithfuls. Several ethnic and socio-cultural groups came out to show their massive love and support for the current President of the Energy and Engineering Technology Consulting and Energy Group.

From the Arewa group, igbo Community, Yoruba APC Members to the National Association of Nigerian Students and Students Union Excos who were all in attendance; the massive echo of 'We love Chris Ogiemwonyi' rented the sky.

Engr. Chris, who was received by the Edo State APC Chairman in person of Hon. Anselm Ojezua alongside the party secretary Chief Osaro Idah and Hon. Charles Idahosa said he feels so good to have finally come out of darkness into the marvelous light.

In his words he said 'For a while now, i kept asking myself as a PDP Member if this is how we shall to live. If this our Nigerians shall continue to wallow in poverty and stay helpless in a country blessed with milk and honey. I feel so much pain inside of me whenever i think about this and finally decided to effect a change, a change which our great party APC has started'.

Continuing he said 'I want to consolidate on the good works of the Comrade Governor. Even the blind can see and feel the development going on.

"It's time to vote out PDP cause they're undemocractic. I left the power industry in 2009 when we needed to generate 6,000 Megawatts of electricity, as at when i was leaving we had already generated almost 5,000 Megawatts but see what we have today, the system is damaged, he said'.

'Today, i publicly renounce the PDP and i renounce them forever, i am more than glad to be under the leadership of our great party chairman Chief John Oyegun. As an Engineer, i am well calculated. I shocked veryone when i defected from the PDP, I had mapped out my strategy and they were all suprised.

Chris Ogiemwonyi also took time out to shower praises on his beautiful wife Mrs Joy Ogiemwonyi when he emphasized the "One Man-One Woman' slogan.

Welcoming Engineer Ogiemwonyi to the APC, Edo state governor, Adam‎ Oshiomhole, said Mr. Ogiemwonyi made the right decision and called PDP a failure that has no space in Edo State.‎

"This is the party of change, and the PDP is a failed party that has no space here in Edo state. You have made the right move and you are welcome to the APC" the governor said.

The governor said it is laughable to imagine that the PDP can win any election again in Edo State.

General Muhammadu Buhari, a presidential aspirant under APC, has revealed why he wants to be president. He disclosed this while addressing party delegates in Calabar.

In his words, the 72 years old aspirants said...

"We have lost so much. What has become of the Nigeria Airways, our shipping lines, railways among others. Infrastructure is going down and also the rising level of insecurity. The Peoples Democratic Party has failed badly in their 15 years of rule so far. Everything is going down inpsite of all the money. What are they doing with the money."We must stop PDP from destroying this country. If we don't get rid of the PDP, PDP will get rid of Nigerians. We are fed up. Whatever your sentiments, let us work together and rebuild this country."‎

Staring at a woman's boobs makes makes a guy live longer

No comments :
Add BBN on 2BAFB965

One part of a woman's body that many, nay, most men find very attractive, alluring and sexy is the breast. It is one part that has enjoyed so much attention from men. Even though men have theirs, with a negligible size though, they lust after these female organs for several reasons.

As much as men love the female breasts, usually for aiding their sexual satisfaction and other reasons, a study has shown that there are life-changing health benefits of staring at women's breasts, such as lowering blood pressure and reducing the instance of coronary artery disease. The study found that men who stare at women's breasts for at least 10 minutes daily tend to live longer than those who do not.

Even though men would like to maintain straight face while talking to women, the male eyes usually have a way of drifting down.

In fact, a previous research had shown that when men are confronted with breasts, or even breast-related stimuli, like bras, they tend to start making bad decisions. It was pointed out in the study that men would rather watch videos of attractive women with lots of skin exposed and be compensated with a lesser amount than watch pastoral scenes where a large sum of money would be offered as compensation.

"This indicates that parts of men's brains associated with reward, the pleasure centres, and the sites of goal-directed motivation, were shutting down the reasoning centres of their brains, primarily the pre-frontal cortex. Neurochemicals were activating those reward and motivational circuits to drive men toward taking smaller amount of money. So breasts are mightily tempting," the study said.

Regardless, study has shown that staring at the breasts for a length of time is beneficial to the men's health.

The study done by a German scientist, Dr. Karen Weatherby, and published in the New England Journal of Medicine, said staring at women's breasts is not only healthy, but also elongates the life span of such men.

The study, which was carried out over a period of five years, involved 500 men, half of whom were instructed to stare at women's breasts in a lustful manner for at least 10 minutes every day, while the other half were instructed to abstain from doing such.

Weatherby concluded that men who stared at the breasts more often, as instructed, showed lower rates of heart problems, a lower resting heart rate and lower blood pressure, all of which enable a healthy living and long life. He said men should stare at breasts for 10 minutes a day to improve the wellness of their hearts and live longer.

Weatherby said, "Just 10 minutes of staring at the charms of a well-endowed female everyday is roughly equivalent to a 30-minute aerobics work-out. When the two groups of men were tested, men that stared at breasts daily had lower blood pressure, slower resting pulse rates, as well as fewer instances of coronary artery disease.

"Sexual excitement gets the heart pumping and improves blood circulation. Gazing at breasts makes men healthier and engaging in this activity a few minutes daily cuts the risk of stroke and heart attack by half. We believe that by doing so consistently, the average man can extend his life for four to five years."

It was gathered that many men are attracted to women with big breasts, and apart from the fact that all women experience increase in the size of their breasts during pregnancy and menstrual cycle, women with bigger breasts have been found to be men's delight.

In another study carried out on 200 male outpatients at three hospitals in Frankfurt, Germany, in same order with the previous study, half of the participants were told to look at female breasts, while the other half were told to refrain from doing so. After five years of issuing the instruction and monitoring the effect on the participants, it was found out that the chest-watchers had a healthier heart, as identified above and have the tendency of living longer than the other group.

A number of men who spoke to our correspondent said they usually experience a surge in their hearts and an unusual faster heartbeat rate when they see women's breasts, especially the bigger ones.

Desmond Oni, 29, said he had always seen such sudden reaction as normal. "Whenever I see a woman's breasts, especially those who open them for people to see, it feels like my heart would jump out of my body, and then whilst I still look at it, a number of things could run through my mind at a time."

Why then do men look at breasts, people might ask. The Director, Centre for Translational Social Neuroscience, Emory University, United States, Dr. Larry Young, who is also an expert in the neuroscience of social bonding, gave reasons why men love breasts, especially when looking at curvaceous women, those having an attractively curved shape.

He explained that apart from the fact that humans are among the very rare animals that have sex face-to-face, looking into each other's eyes, which breeds some intimacy between the two sexes, the mother-infant bonding brain activity could have made men lovers of breasts, even from a younger age.

Young said, "Why are heterosexual men so fascinated by women's breasts that they sometimes act as if the breasts are the seat of the soul? Well, we happen to be heterosexual men who are interested in biology and have been used to breasts since birth.

"When a woman gives birth, her newborn will engage in some pretty elaborate manipulations of her breasts. This stimulation sends signals along nerves and into the brain and the signals trigger the release of a neurochemical called oxytocin from the brain's hypothalamus. Hence, the unusual attraction.

"Biologically speaking, this obsession with breasts is pretty weird. Men are the only male mammals fascinated by breasts in a sexual context and women are the only female mammals whose breasts become enlarged at puberty, independent of pregnancy. We are also the only species in which males caress, massage and even orally stimulate the female breasts during foreplay and sex.

"Women do seem to enjoy the attention, at least at the right moments. Men are extremely drawn to breasts and it is not only biological, but an unconscious evolutionary drive deeply engrained in their brains."

Reacting to the study, a professor of psychology, Toba Elegbeleye, said if the study based its findings on a single factor, which is just staring at the breast, then, it could be regarded as inconclusive, more so because the medical condition of the participants before the study was not disclosed.

He argued that what happened after the men stared at the breast was more important than the staring, adding that it was whatever the staring led to, such as sexual intercourse, that had the capacity to lower the blood pressure and give long life and not just the staring alone.

He noted that non-forceful sexual intercourse, which could be an aftermath of the staring, could reduce blood pressure and increase blood circulation, which ultimately prolongs life because the staring is not an end on its own.

He said, "I will prefer to ascribe that lowering of blood pressure and other benefits mentioned to the ultimate level where the man is relieved of the urge that the staring has started in him. But if it is not carried through, I want to doubt the veracity of that experiment.

"It is a very tricky subject because it is difficult to isolate the staring as the only factor responsible for the difference in heart rate or blood circulation between the two groups. Staring at a woman's breast can actually cause sexual excitement but it is usually a precursor to having sexual intercourse, which is an act that could raise the blood circulation.

"If a man stares at a woman's breast for 10 minutes spanning five years, it may return the man into a position that may be very injurious to his health except where he ends up masturbating or having sexual intercourse and about 39 per cent of men indulge in masturbation.

"On a general note, when men see the nudity of a woman, something must agitate in their blood stream and biologically, it leads to a rise in their blood flow and tampers with their sexual system. However, beyond the seeing, it is what happens after, like sex, that could make them live longer, because normally, involvement in sex prolongs life.

"Since the study didn't present the other details, we can say it is inconclusive because what the men do after the staring must have tampered with their sexual system and has the capacity of lowering blood pressure."‎

INEC Insists Fashola, Others Must Re-register

The Independent National Electoral Commission on Friday failed to distribute Permanent Voter Cards at the Ward G3, State Junior Secondary School, the polling unit where the State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, and his wife, Abimbola, registered.

It was learnt that some INEC ad-hoc staff had earlier pasted a notice to notify voters who had registered in the two wards on Itolo Street that they had no PVC.

The commission said the voters would have to register afresh at a later date.

The notice pasted at the entrance of the school read, "We regret to inform you that those who registered in this polling unit do not have Permanent Voter Cards. Please come back between 3rd and 8th of December 2014 for fresh registration."

Lagos State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Dr. Adekunle Ogunmola, attributed the development to loss of data arising from the crash of their computing system.

"Yes, some of the data captured during the registration in 2010 crashed. This was the reason we lost about 1.4 million data for voters. We are embarking on fresh registration for them and others who were unable to register in the 2010 registration."

Fashola has not reacted to this anyway...‎

"Obasanjo Is A Monster"-Fayose

The Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayo Fayose, flayed former President Olusegun Obasanjo for allegedly criticising   Jonathan's administration on corruption and insecurity.

Fayose, who spoke at a summit in Ife, said that Obasanjo had no moral justification to criticise Jonathan's administration because the former President's government was far more corrupt than the one he criticised.

The attack from Fayose came just as notable leaders of the Yoruba race present at the summit endorsed Jonathan for a second term in office.

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuwade, led notable traditional rulers from many Yoruba towns majority of who are from Ekiti State to the summit.

The matriarch of Awolowo family, Chief H.I.D Awolowo, was represented at the summit by her daughter, Mrs. Tola Oyediran. Fayose, who spoke after all the Yoruba leaders had spoken, stated that he would not toe the line of Yoruba leaders who spoke before him.

He said, "I will differ a bit, we need to hit the nail on the head. We are dealing with monsters and we need to treat them as monsters. My name is Ayodele Fayose, the Oshokomole, 'irunmole to n je jollof rice'."

Apparently asking Jonathan not to lobby Obasanjo for support, Fayose said, "Even if you give your blood, your being, your strength and your life to Obasanjo, he would not support you.

"We know him more than you know him. He will not want a man with independent mind.

"Mr. President, you have refused to toe the path of unconstitutionality. You have refused to level Borno and other states like he levelled Odi in Bayelsa State.

"You are taking your time to respect human rights by not committing crime against humanity, he won't like that.

"Your Excellency, the more you try to curry Obasanjo's favour, the more he would continue to disparage you. If you continue to curry his favour, we are not going to curry him. He doesn't like people that give him respect.

"Your Excellency, your second term has been concluded in heaven. Fear not! Obasanjo accused government of the day of corruption, but what happened to the N50m he shared to each senator and House of Representatives member during his third term agenda that failed?

"What do you call the donations to Obasanjo Library? That is corruption. Go and check the code of conduct, the form filled by Obasanjo. We knew when he came out of the prison; we knew his situation."‎

No fewer than 120 died and 270 were injured on Friday as the violent Boko Haram sect bombed the 10,000 capacity Kano Central Mosque where the Emir, Alhaji Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, usually leads prayers.

About 10 gunmen went on a shooting spree after the blast at the mosque, which is close to the Emir of Kano's palace.

A rescue official, who spoke with Agence France-Presse, put casualty figures at almost 400, adding that 120 were killed and 270 hurt in the three explosions that rocked the mosque.

The emir was said to have travelled to Saudi Arabia late on Thursday night from Paris.

Witnesses said the incident happened just as residents were getting set for Friday prayers.

"The attackers have bombed the mosque. I saw people screaming," a local reporter who resides in Kano, Chijjani Usman, told Reuters.

Another eyewitness told the British Broadcasting Corporation that he had counted over 50 bodies immediately after the blasts.

Also, the Editor, BBC Hausa Service, Mansur Liman, was quoted as saying that people had witnessed "horrible" scenes in a nearby hospital.

One eyewitness, who spoke with the BBC's Focus on Africa, said, "The imam was about to start prayer when he saw somebody in a car trying to force himself into the mosque. But when people stopped him, he detonated the explosions. People started running helter-skelter."

Another worshipper, Aminu Abdullahi, who also spoke to AFP, said, "Two bombs exploded, one after the other, in the premises of the Grand Mosque seconds after the prayers had started."

"A third one went off in a nearby road close to the Qadiriyya Sufi order. The blasts were followed by gunshots by the police to scare off potential attacks."

His account was backed up by another witness, Hajara Tukur, who said she lives nearby.

A senior rescue official confirmed that several bodies had been brought to just one Kano area hospital, while over 126 people had been admitted with injuries at three facilities.

"Those figures are going to climb," he told AFP on condition of anonymity, as he was not authorised to speak to the media.

A military official, Capt. Ikechukwu Eze, also said scores of people were feared killed and many others injured in the attack.

A check by one of our correspondents at the mortuaries of both the Murtala Mohammed Specialist Hospital and the Nasarawa Hospital in the heart of the city showed they were filled with bodies of victims of the blasts while some of them littered the ground.

Meanwhile, two suspected bomber were said to have been arrested at the scene of the incident, just as youths took to the street to protest what they called negligence by the police for not doing enough to protect the lives and property of the people.

The Kano State Police Command's Public Relations Officer, Mustapha Abubakar, confirmed the incident but declined to give the casualty.

The emir had recently called for people to arm themselves against Islamist militant group Boko Haram.

Earlier this month, the emir told a prayer meeting that people should "acquire what they need" to protect themselves.

The Boko Haram terrorist group has killed more than 2,000 people this year, according to rights groups' reports.

The Kano blasts came after a bomb attack was also foiled at a mosque in Maiduguri on Friday morning; five days after two female suicide bombers killed over 45 people in the city.

The Emir of Kano last week doubted the Nigerian troops' ability to protect civilians and end the insurgency.

This had prompted his advice to Kano residents to arm themselves against Boko Haram attacks.

The Emir of Kano is an influential figure in Nigeria, which is home to more than 80 million Muslims, most of who live in the North.

Boko Haram has repeatedly attacked Kano before. On November 14, a suicide bomb attack at a filling station killed six people, including three policemen.

In Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State, civilian vigilantes said they had discovered a suspected remote-controlled device planted in the Gamboru Market area of the city.

It was successfully defused by the police bomb squad but as the bomb was being made safe, another device exploded nearby. There were no casualties, as the area had been cordoned off.

"Our assumption is that the bombs were planted ahead of Friday prayers in the mosque just nearby," civilian vigilante Babakura Adam said.

"Of course, it is Boko Haram's handiwork because in the last few days several arrests have been made of suspected female suicide bombers."

Adam said the arrests were made on Wednesday and Thursday.

Fears have grown in Maiduguri about an upsurge in Boko Haram attacks, after the militant Islamists took over more than two dozen towns in Borno and two neighbouring states in recent months.

Meanwhile, President Goodluck Jonathan on Friday promised that the attackers would be held accountable.

He spoke in a statement at the commissioning of the Federal High Court complex in Asaba, Delta state.

The President, who spoke through the Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, commended the Chief Judge and other justices in the state for their support for government's resolve to hold accountable all the perpetrators of terrorist acts across the country.

He said the presence of a high court in virtually all the states of the federation was a good development as it would bring justice closer to the people.

Jonathan said, "I have been duly informed that the practice directions issued by the court has contributed significantly to the reduction of trial delays and engendered speedy trial of terrorism and allied offences.

"This is in tandem with this administration's determined efforts to expand access to justice for the people and ensure that Nigerians are able to access the courts for the purposes of resolving their disputes."

The President also directed all security agencies in the country to launch what he called a full-scale investigation into the blast that occurred at the Central Mosque in Kano.

He asked them to leave no stone unturned until all terror agents across the country are apprehended and prosecuted.

Jonathan gave the directive in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, in which he described the Kano incident as a heinous attack.

In the face of the attacks however, the President called on all Nigerians not to despair "in this moment of great trial in our nation's history."

He asked them to remain united to confront the common enemy. He appealed to them to remain vigilant and cooperate with security agencies to win the on-going war against terror.

The statement read, "President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan extends heartfelt condolences to the people and Government of Kano State over the heinous attack on the Central Mosque in Kano, earlier today.

"He commiserates with all the families who lost their loved ones. The President calls on relief agencies and medical personnel to deploy every possible effort to assist the injured, and the general public to heed the call for the donation of blood by the hospitals where the injured are being treated.

"The President has further directed the security agencies to launch a full-scale investigation and to leave no stone unturned until all agents of terror undermining the right of every citizen to life and dignity, are tracked down and brought to justice.

"The President reaffirms that terrorism in all its forms and manifestation is a despicable and unjustifiable threat to our society. He reiterates the determination of the government to continue to take every step to put an end to the reprehensible acts of all groups and persons involved in acts of terrorism.

"President Jonathan calls on all Nigerians not to despair in this moment of great trial in our nation's history but to remain united to confront the common enemy.

"The President is confident that no terrorist act against fellow citizens will destroy the Nigerian spirit to remain positive, resolute and united in the quest for lasting peace and security in the country.

"He appeals to all Nigerians to remain vigilant and cooperate actively with our security agencies to win the on-going war against terror."

The Northern socio-cultural group, the Arewa Consultative Forum, described the attack as wicked, callous and barbaric.

The ACF, through its National Publicity Secretary, Muhammad Ibrahim in Kaduna on Friday, said the group received the news of the blasts with shock and disbelief, adding that the several attacks in some part of the North in recent time were most disturbing.

According to the ACF, the insecurity situation in the region is a clear manifestation of the Federal Government's inability to protect the lives and property of Nigerians.

The Forum, therefore, called on the Federal Government to deploy all its apparatus to areas that are being confronted with Boko Haram insurgency.

A statement issued by the group read, "The Arewa Consultative Forum learnt with shock and disbelief the three bomb explosions that occurred in the Central Mosque near the Emir's palace in Kano city. The bomb blast aimed at Muslims in the mosque that left many dead and scores of others injured was wicked, callous and barbaric.

"The recent bomb explosions in Yola, Maiduguri, Azare, Kontagora and many other towns in the North coupled with the daily killing of innocent people by insurgents are very disturbing and worrisome.

"This insecurity situation that has engulfed the North is a clear manifestation of Federal Government's inability to protect the people as intelligence and equipment required to contain the situation appears lacking.

"ACF urges the people of Kano in particular to exercise some restrain, remain calm and avoid taking the law into their hands or blamed innocent people that have lived with them peacefully. We equally call upon the people to unite and protect themselves through intelligence sharing with security agencies."

The ACF, however, appealed to the Kano State Government and other states rocked by bomb explosions in the last one week to provide free medical treatment to the injured victims.‎
