Controversial Nigerian Senator, Chris Anyanwu has done it again.
Reports have it that over the weekend, the alleged trouble maker beat up a PDP leader at a meeting of delegates in Ezinihitte -Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State.

Eyewitnesses said Chris Anyanwu representing Imo state at the Nigerian senate and Ezinihitte PDP Chairman Chinemerem Madu engaged each other in a heated argument that led to a physical fight on Saturday the 1st of November 2014 during a meeting/election of delegates.

At the height of argument, Chris Anyanwu allegedly reached out to Madu and gave him a dirty slap on the right cheek.

In exchange, it was learnt Mr Madu reached back to her and gave her several hot slaps that caused her to roar like a wounded lion.
Her yell reportedly attracted the attention of onlookers who couldn't but blame her for making the first move.

She was later rescued from Madu who according to sources meant to teach her the lesson of her life.
Fillers in Imo State alleged that Chris Anyanwu is a trouble maker that slaps her husband at will, throws slippers and shoes at men at the slightest provocation.

Chris slapped Madu because she was displeased with the PDP Chairman's attitude and because of his loyalty to Honourable Emeka Ihedioha.
She was reportedly rushed to the hospital for checkup when she complained of breathing problems.

Burkina Faso Crisis! Citizens Calls For Military Exit As Army Denies Interest In Continued Stay In Power

A protester holds up a sign in French that reads "Zida get out" during a rally at the Place de la Nation

In furtherance of the campaign for a truly democratic state, protesters in the West African state of Burkina Faso have again called on the military to give up power.

Following the protests that forced the country's long-time leader, President Blaise Compaore to resign last week Thursday, the army named Lieutenant Colonel Isaac Zida as the leader of a transitional government on Saturday.

However, thousands of protesters gathered on Sunday in the capital Ouagadougou, demonstrating against the army.

On Sunday evening, following a meeting with key opposition figures, a military spokesman said the army would put in place "a transition body... with all the components to be adopted by a broad consensus".

"Power does not interest us, only the greater interest of the nation," the military said in its statement.
Lieutenant Colonel Isaac Zida is currently acting head of state

The UN has condemned the military takeover and threatened sanctions.

Mass protests first erupted last week when long-time leader Mr Compaore attempted to extend his 27-year rule.

Parts of the parliament building were set on fire, and the president fled to Ivory Coast.

Under Burkina Faso's constitution, the president of the Senate should take over after the national president resigns and an election should take place between 60 and 90 days afterwards.

The African Union, the US and regional economic bloc Ecowas have all condemned the military takeover.

The UN's West Africa envoy Mohamed Ibn Chambas said the military must allow a civilian transfer of power, and sanctions were a possibility if this did not happen.

Some suspected cultists believed to be loyal to a political party invaded Adifase Street, Bariga, Lagos and hacked Segun Atupa, an Okada rider to death. According to Punch, the hoodlums severed the 28-year-old victim's hand and fled with it.

The murder came less than two weeks after some political thugs killed two youths and beheaded one of them in the Fadeyi area of the state.

It was learnt that the victim was attacked in the area around 8pm on October 24. He was said to have
been ambushed and hacked with machetes repeatedly by the hoodlums while going about his evening business.

After the brutal murder, the hoodlums dumped Segun's body beside a canal on the street as they left.

It was also learnt that the deceased, who lived on Olusoji Street, Bariga, was attacked because the hoodlums claimed that he was working as an informant for rival political gangs in the area. A resident who wished to remain anonymous for fear of reprisal said the hoodlums pursued Segun into the area and killed him.

He said:
"On Friday at about 8pm, we were all outside enjoying the evening until we began to hear noises. That is not strange in this area. But we also heard gunshots, and you could feel that some people were running towards our street. Everyone was afraid and quickly rushed inside, bolting their doors. From inside my house, I was hearing deep voices of 'pursue him and kill him', 'pursue him and kill him'. But no one could come out to check who it was. When it was morning, we saw the corpse of a man already killed and dumped in the canal."
When news authorities visited Segun's house, it was learnt that the motorcyclist's wife had died from an accident, only about two weeks ago, and he was still grieving her death.

Another resident, Mr. Jamiu Oluyomi, said attacks on innocent lives in the area by thugs working for political parties had become commonplace, urging the police to intensify security in the Bariga and Somolu areas of the state. He said:
"These thugs are not ghosts. We know them, the police know them too. They use aliases such as Eyin Bouncing, Ologun, Sean Paul, and Tolu T-boy."

Former minister and Lagos state PDP Gubernatorial aspirant Senator Musiliu Obanikoro is talking tough.

In a recent interview with senator Musiliu Obanikoro, the former minister for state for defence posits that, "You can deceive people sometimes but you cannot deceive them all the time. To that extent, what is more important to the people is being violated every day"

Musiliu Obanikoro contested against Governor Babatunde Fashola in 2007. Before then he was a senator representing Lagos Central senatorial district‎. He was also a former commissioner under the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu long before he embrassed the ruling PDP.
