I met Odun a month after Michael left. I had gone to see a movie with my kids at Genesis Deluxe cinemas. Moji and Kunle had bugged me so much about going to see the Spongebob movie and I finally budged.
Henry had sat by my left while the kids sat the other way on my right. I laughed more at the remarks he made about the movie more than at the movie itself. I had asked him why someone as old as he was watching Spongebob and he told me he was using it to kill the time before the movie he really wanted to see which was Amazing Spiderman 2 but he didn't end up seeing the movie anymore because I had somehow managed to talk him out of it and made him join me and the kids for dinner at the Genesis restaurant.
We talked more while we ate and I gave him my number at the end of our dinner. Even though I let him ask for him more than once.
He called me the next day although I had been expecting a Whatsapp message. He was a third level student at Lagos State University studying Industrial Chemistry. Students like him usually preferred to text than make calls so I was a bit surprised. Anyways, that call led to us becoming a bit close until the day he asked to visit me. Tunji, my husband had told me he would be working offshore for three months but would come over at weekends. Two weekends had passed and he hadn't showed up, I knew he was probably f~cking another girl somewhere around but I didn't care. As long as my own needs and desires were being met when I needed them to be he could do whatever he wanted.
I told Odun he couldn't come over to my place because my kids were on holiday but I told him I could meet him somewhere. I employed a nanny/maid when my relationship with Michael had become serious and I was beginning to spend more time away from home than usual. She was such a good maid towards Moji and Kunle that I thanked my stars for getting her. With her around I could meet Henry anywhere. It had been over a month I had a real d¡ck pound me in and so I made the arrangement with Odun.
I took 20,000 naira with me to give to him as an incentive if he treated me good. I also took my checkbook with me just in case he did better than I'd anticipated. Tunji wired so much money into my account monthly that I had very little to do with and I love to be generous.
I met Odun at our arranged location. A classy guest house not too far away from GRA Junction. He had gotten a room already and told me to come straight upstairs. Immediately I knocked and he opened the door… He was all over me and soon we were both n»ked on the soft bed while he gave me the pounding I'd been looking for…
Odun's hot rod pounded into me until I felt him in my womb. Sweat streamed down as he f~cked me, using all of his youthful energy to thrust his long black dick into my soaked up p~$$y. The squishy sounds his p3n¡s made whenever he rammed into me was like music to my ears, coupled with the grunts escaping his mouth.
His eyes were closed, his toned biceps at both my sides like pillars holding a monument in place. I used my hands to caress his body while both my legs were wrapped around his a$$ as he lifted it up and drove it back in with intense precision. With each thrust of his, I felt my whole body shudder. I hadn't been f~cked this good in a long time. Not since Michael moved away to Port Harcourt after finding a new job. I'd been with two other young men but they hadn't been able to give me what I really wanted. I held Odun's face in my hands and I kissed him passionately, letting him know that he was doing exactly what I wanted from him. Odun paused in mid-thrust as he returned my k¡ss. His tongue going deep into my mouth and playing with mine. I could feel his d¡ck throbbing inside me with every beat of his heart, more blood was being pumped into that monster-cock of his.
"I'm sorry if what I'm about to say will sound offensive, but I have to say it" Odun said. "Your cooch is actually too sweet for someone your age."
I chuckled and hit him playfully on his chest. "That is actually a compliment. But don't spoil the mood. I'm about to c~m" I gave him my best s3xy stare.
With that Henry went into 2nd then 3rd gear, he f~cked me so hard and so fast that all I could do was raise both my legs in the air and allow his c•ck devour my p~$$y. Odun's grunts became even more violent as he pounded me furiously. Within seconds I felt his seed shoot right inside me. I had already c~m once already but his pounding didn't stop and so I came again.
My juices streaming out of me like an endless river.
We both lay on the bed after Henry finally stopped and collapsed beside me. I rubbed his chest and placed my thigh over his flaccid c•ck.
"That was the best s3x I've had in years" I told him.
Henry laughed. "What kind of weaklings have you been f~cking?" he asked and we both laughed together. We lay there until sleep came over us. The next day I woke up quite early and quietly had my bath and dressed up just so I wouldn't wake Odunayo. I wrote a check for fifty thousand naira and a small note beside it.
"I had a wonderful time. Let's do this again next Sunday. Chao"
I arrived home before Nonye, the housemaid,  had returned back from church with the kids and prepared dinner, with thoughts of Odun's hot rod in my mind all day.
I wasn't sure if i could wait till next Sunday to f~ck him again.

Operatives of the state criminal investigation and intelligence department are currently battling to unravel the mystery surrounding the death of a 20-year-old girl, who died four days after she was employed as a maid by a couple at Mafoluku area of Oshodi, Lagos.
The maid, identified as Josephine Naarop, a native of Plateau State, was employed on April 2 to assist her employers (names withheld) to take care of their household chores, including a set of twins delivered less than three months ago.
It was gathered that prior to her employment, her employers informed her relatives, John Gwelding and Mark that they would subject Josephine to series of medical test to determine if she was medically fit for the job.
It was gathered that among the test she was made to undergo were HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis and pregnancy.
Tests results
At the end of the tests, which were carried out on April 5, she was discovered to be HIV and Hepatitis negative, but was discovered pregnant.
It was learnt that Josephine's employers called on her relatives to notify them of the development and that they could no longer allow her to work with them.
It was learned that the next day, at about 2p.m., one of her relatives, identified as Mr. Luka King, came to take her back, since they no longer had need of her services.
When Luka got to the residence of the employers, he reportedly found Josephine rolling on the floor of the sitting room, writhing in pains and vomiting.
He called the attention of her madam, who was at home and they rushed her to a nearby hospital.
It was gathered that when they got to the hospital, Josephine was not admitted as the doctor on duty discovered that she was already dead, so he advised them to take her remains to the mortuary, which they did.
A relative's reaction
One of Josephine's relatives, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said: "We really do not know what happened. We cannot say what exactly happened to her because when my brother, Luka, got there, she was in a terrible state. So she could not talk, let alone reveal what was wrong with her.
"She was hale and hearty when she came to their house and pregnancy does not kill. Her employers said after they came back from the tests, she did not leave the house. If she did not leave the house, the idea of her aborting the pregnancy is not possible."
Although her employers denied having anything to do with her death, the case is currently being investigated by the state criminal investigation and intelligence department, Yaba, Lagos.

So Actress Sotayo Is MC Oluomo's 3rd Wife

Not many people are aware of the marital status of the fair skinned Yoruba actress cum model, Tayo Sobola popularly known as Sotayo, in case you don't know she's officially married to one of NURTW junta and popular Lagos socialite Musiliu Akinsaya (MC Oluomo) and this we are confident about.
The tattoo freaked actress/producer unknown to many (except for her colleagues in the industry) is now the 3rd wife of MC Oluomo who we exclusively gathered married her in the Muslim way (Nikkai) sometimes around late 2014.‎
The couple our source divulged was joined as husband and wife in the presence of very close families and Actress few industry friends as the socialite wedded her with a ring she wears on her finger even as you read this.
It was reliably gathered from impeccable sources that this Public Administration graduate of the Olabisi Onabanjo University is presently enjoying the bliss of marital life even though they can't comprehend the reason Sotayo keeps denying that she is married whenever the topic pops up.
"Tayo will never confirm her marriage to MC forget it! I think she has since regretted the decision owing to the fact that, the man has slept with many of her colleagues plus this is a babe who's a University graduate and could have gone for someone in her status", our source fired.
"I am convinced money played a major role in Tayo's decision because he lavishes money on her like it's no man business but we all know that Oluomo is a spender especially when he is carried away by the looks of a celeb although the wise ones occasionally turn down his advances because they understand that its only for a certain season", our source further explained.
The NURTW leader who is also the self acclaimed lord of Oshodi parks according to our source, bought his new wife a brand new Range Rover 2014 which she cruises aside pumping money into her numerous movie projects and getting her a lavish apartment somewhere around Ikeja, Lagos.
MC Oluomo who has been famed to love dating actresses and spoiling them silly with loads of cash, car gifts and even trips abroad has been romantically linked with top Yoruba actresses like Taiwo Aromokun, Bukky Wright, Lola Alao, Lizzy Da Silva, Ronke Oshodi Oke, Moji Olaiya, Fathia Balogun, Sikiratu Sindodo amongst others though the Lagos big boy has confessed that his relationship with movie practitioners is borne out of passion for the art.
As in their tradition, the actress in an interview she granted recently denied having any romantic affiliation with MC but described him as friend she is close to because of his niceness and good heart!
One thing we are sure of is, she will make a very good imager maker as she painted Oluomo in brilliant colours in the interview, referring to the controversial Oshodi Motor-Park warlord as a calm and peace loving man who is generous to a fault and would never engage in a fight, "MC hates violence, he can't stand a fight, people who talk about him don't know him" she defended the NURTW leader.
In a fact finding mission, the actress was contracted and as expected, she denied the story "I am not dating MC Oluomo, I am not in any romantic relationship with him neither am I married to him. Nobody bought me a Range or paid for the house I live in. I hope I have answered your question. Thank you" she said.
Even though Tayo Sobola Akinsanya deprived the public and her fans the glee of a celebrity wedding by marrying her lover in a hush and secretive manner, we still wish her conjugal bliss all the way.

The police in Lagos State have arrested a driver, identified simply as Utebor, for the death of a lady in his apartment.
According to PUNCH, the suspect picked up the victim around Baruwa Estate in the Ipaja area of the state, on Friday.
A police source told our correspondent that investigations showed that the suspect took the lady home and as they were having s3x, the victim died.
A neighbour was said to have alerted policemen from the Ipaja division, who arrested the suspect and deposited the victim's corpse in a mortuary.
Our correspondent learnt that nobody knew the victim's name and address, just as no member of her family had shown up.
The source said, "The man was driving his cab that fateful day when the lady flagged him down.
"She asked him for money, but he told her he didn't have any money on him. He then asked her to enter the car and follow him home.
"He took her to his apartment in Baruwa Estate and it was that night that the girl died. Investigation showed that it was while he was making love to her that she died. It was the following morning that somebody alerted the police."
Our correspondent, however, learnt that the suspect, in his confession told the police that he had picked the victim from the bus stop and taken her home when she suddenly died.
Another source explained that the suspect had continued to plead his innocence, saying he only helped the deceased and did not have sex with her.
He said, "The man did not deny taking the girl home. But he explained that while she was in his room, she started shouting that she had a headache, and before he knew what was going on, she fell down and died.
"He said he was confused and didn't know what to do. But obviously, that may not be all the truth."
Our correspondent, who visited the area, observed that residents were not willing to talk about the incident, as they claimed that they were not aware.
It was, however, learnt that the matter had been transferred to the Department of Criminal Investigation, Yaba, where the suspect was undergoing interrogation.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Kenneth Nwosu, confirmed the incident.
He said, "We have arrested the man. As I speak with you, the matter is under investigation at the DCI, to know what actually killed the lady. The deceased's name and address are unknown."

Africa's richest man Aliko Dangote is in the news and this time not for topping the continent's Forbs list or another investment in East Africa. Rather, he is making the online community buzz over a reported sizzling romance with MBGN '11 Sylvia Nduka.
Below is how Enquire Magazine reported the story...
This is arguably the hottest gist running around town in the confines of those in the know.
It's the story of the sizzling romance between the 2011 Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria winner, Sylvia Nduka and Africa's richest man, Aliko Dangote! Love is really in the air and good enough, the man Aliko Dangote does not have any woman in his home. And as for the ex beauty Queen, she's not just loving this relationship but has also agreed to the tenets of Islam by beginning to wear hijab. For all you care, Sylvia has also updated her name on Instagram as Sylvia Nduka AD meaning Aliko Dangote.‎
Although the affair is still shrouded in utmost secrecy to the public, National Enquirer can reliably say that the beauty Queen has totally captured the heart of the billionaire businessman.
According to our reliable source, the relationship which kicked off shortly after Sylvia's reign in 2013 has since metamorphosed into a serious affair that has had the billionaire pumping millions into Sylvia's life and business. "Give or take two years, it's been going on for a while, but they have tried as much as possible to keep it away from the public view" the source revealed.
Undoubtedly, her relationship with the billionaire has changed Sylvia's life in no little ways, the former beauty Queen commands Dangote's private jet like hers and flies in and out of the country on constant short trips abroad. "On many occasions she jets into Dubai and lodges in executive suites in Burj Arab! Like a big girl that she is, she cruises around town in white Range Rover sports, a gift bestowed on her by her benefactor" we were told by a source.
Unknown to many, the billionaire has been investing hugely into Sylvia own Hairline Sylvia's Hair Gallery which was opened and launched shortly after her reign in 2013.
Not only has Sylvia's life changed dramatically over the years, her mode of dressing has also witnessed a drastic change. Insiders swore to high heavens that the lovers are quite serious and marriage might be on their minds as Sylvia has been spotted on several occasions dressing like a Muslim! "There is no doubt that it is a serious affair, not just a fling. She covers up more now and you know that Dangote's religion allows him to take as many wives as he likes so you can expect a big announcement anytime soon" our source confided in us.
We also gathered exclusively that Enemaya Lawani who is also a former beauty Queen has given her friend Sylvia all the support and encouragement needed to date a older man as she also boasts of one and has trailed that path for six years.
For those who do not know, Ene has enjoyed a long term affair with her beau the Chairman of Polo Luxury John Obayuwana, a relationship that has enjoyed massive popularity over the years. However, wedding bells might not be ringing anytime soon for this couple unlike Sylvia and Dangote and this can be traced to Jennifer Obayuwana's involvement.
Even though Jennifer who got engaged December last year 2014 to Peter Salah was initially instrumental to Ene's relationship with her Dad, the 33year old mother of one has drawn the line and maintained that her father would not marry her friend.
Marriage or no marriage, Ene's life like Sylvia's has changed thanks to her billionaire lover. She also paints the town red with a Range Rover Sports car like her friend, has a multi million Naira business empire EmeNaya Millinary Turbans and Accessories; an outfit that caters for only the elite in the society, courtesy of "The Rolex Man" John Obayuwana.
National Enquirer will definitely stay glued to watch more events unfold, especially as it seems that wedding bells would ring for Dangote and Nduka soon

Our correspondent learnt that the indigene of Imo State had lured the girl to his room sometime in October 2014 and allegedly r»ped her.
It was gathered that Edundu, after the act, warned the girl not to inform anybody.
The girl, however, reportedly told her mother when Edundu tricked her into his room and attempted to r»pe her the second time.
It was further learnt that the suspect was apprehended after the minor's mother, identified simply as Amaka, reported the incident at the Ojo Police Station.‎

He said, "I merely sent her (the victim) on an errand. I didn't rape her. Amaka, her husband and I are very close. One day she (Amaka) came to my room half-naked, asking for money. She seduced me one morning when she needed N5,000. That was the first time we had sex. She sent her daughter to me whenever she needed something."
Amaka, however, refuted having extramarital affair with the suspect, but she admitted that she usually borrowed money from him.
She said, "I never went out with him (Edundu). Yes, I collected N5,000 from him, but I paid him back. The first money I got from him was N1,000. He is just a neighbour to me and nothing else."

A police prosecutor, Inspector Olusoji Ojaokomo, told the court that a medical test conducted on the girl at a general hospital in Lagos revealed that her "hymen had been ruptured."
The accused pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The presiding magistrate, Mr. P.A. Adekomaya, admitted him to bail in the sum of N100,000 with one surety in like sum.
The case was adjourned till June 10, 2015 for mention.

Burundi Aftermath: Embattled President Sacks Minister

Burundi President Pierre Nkurunziza has dismissed his defence and foreign ministers after last week's failed military coup, according to a presidential spokesperson.
Emmanuel Ntahonvukiye, a civilian, was named on Monday to replace Pontian Gaciyubwenge, the defence minister, while Alain Aime Nyamitwe was appointed foreign minister to succeed Laurent Kavakure, the spokesperson said.
Al Jazeera's Haru Mutasa, reporting from the capital Bujumbura, said Nkurunziza was "under a lot of pressure" not to stand for a controversial third term and perhaps he had put trusted allies in those positions "who won't try to stab him in the back".
Earlier on Monday, Uhuru Kenyatta, the Kenyan president, told Nkurunziza that he should postpone a presidential election due next month after last week's failed military coup, Kenyatta's spokesperson said.
Manoah Esipisu, the spokesperson, said the two leaders, whose nations belong to the East African Community common market, had spoken by phone on Sunday. Kenyatta's counterparts in the region shared his view, Esipisu said.
On Monday, heavily armed soldiers were deployed in Bujumbura, days after the failed coup attempt that followed widespread protests against Nkurunziza's decision to seek a third term.

A Federal High Court in Lagos has further adjourned till June 22, 2015 the fundamental rights enforcement suit filed against the Lagos State Government by commercial motorcycle operators, popularly called okada riders in the state.‎
The okada riders, about 120 in number, had sued the state claiming compensation in the sum of N1bn over alleged unlawful arrest, detention, torture and seizure of their motorcycles by agents of the state.
The plaintiffs, in their suit marked FHC/L/CS/756/14, claimed that they were arrested by agents of the state on various routes within the state on which the Schedule II of the Lagos State Road Traffic Law, 2012 did not prohibit them from operating.
They are contending that their arrest and the impounding of their motorcycles without being given an opportunity to defend themselves before a competent court of law amounted to a breach of sections 34 and 35 of the constitution.
The plaintiffs, who alleged unlawful arrest, detention, intimidation, embarrassment and torture by agents of Lagos State, are seeking a court injunction restraining the respondents from further arresting and impounding their motorcycles.
Apart from seeking compensation for damages in the sum of N1bn, the plaintiffs also want an order of the court compelling the respondents to tender a published apology to them in two national dailies.
The plaintiffs, who filed the suit on behalf of themselves and others, are Yusuf Oladimeji, Aliyu Wamba, Adeniji Musliudeen and Akinkuotu Omoniyi.
Others are Obri Boniface, Tobena Ezeaka, Lateef Ayokunnu and Lembe Lukman.

Gobe! PDP Dragged To Court Over Newspaper Advert Debts

The New Telegraph newspapers has petitioned the Peoples Democratic Party Chairman, Adamu Mu'azu, over the refusal of the disbanded PDP Presidential Declaration Committee to settle a N6.9m advertisement debt.‎
The media organisation threatened to institute a legal action against the PDP, if it fails to settle the debt within two weeks.
The media outfit in the petition by a Kaduna-based lawyer, Festus Okoye, alleged that the committee headed by Senator Aniete Okon failed to settle advertisements bill it placed in several newspapers on December 24, 2014.
Okoye, in the petition dated May 11, 2015, stated that his client, Ibrahim Musa, the Bureau Chief of New Telegraph newspaper in Kaduna State had placed centre spread advertisements in Daily Trust, Leadership, The Sun and Vanguard newspapers on the instruction of Dr. Okey Ikechukwu, a member of the PDP Presidential Declaration Committee.
Okoye added that four months after, several efforts to get the committee to redeem its pledge yielded no result.
The petition partly read, "Our client has exercised sufficient restraint in relation to the payment for these advertisements and his integrity and the livelihood of some of his colleagues are at stake.
"We plead that you use your good offices to ensure that our client is paid to enable him to meet his own commitments to his colleagues and their newspaper medium. Our client has given us the mandate to use all legal and constitutional means to affirm the integrity of the contract but we feel that we should explore an amicable resolution of this matter."
But the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh, said he was not aware of the petition, noting however that the declaration committee was not created by the PDP, but by the Presidency.
He said, "No, I am not aware of the letter. Until I see a copy of the letter, I cannot comment, but the committee wasn't set up by the party; it was a creation of the Presidency.''

As the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP crisis intensifies, Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State has urged the party to resolve its crisis and form a vibrant opposition in the country, saying; "the country's democracy needs opposition." Fashola, in an interview, said that the country's democracy cannot survive without a vibrant opposition to checkmate the party in government (All progressives Congress, APC).
According to him, "We have been in opposition and it is necessary. Today, those who were in opposition for 16 years are now preparing to get into governance, and those who were in government before now see how opposition life is." The governor noted: "It is important that opposition must remain. The country's democracy needs opposition."

The crisis rocking the Nigeria Governors Forum was on Monday night resolved following the adoption of Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, as the Chairman of the forum.

Amaechi had won the last NGF election with 19 votes to defeat his main challenger, Plateau State governor, Jonah Jang, who had 16 votes.

The forum was thrown into crisis when the 16 mainly Peoples Democratic Party governors rejected the outcome of the election and went on to form a faction of the NGF.

It was learnt that  Monday's meeting, which was brokered by some of the outgoing governors, succeeded in getting the two sides together to arrive at a truce.

Signs that the meeting would succeed showed up early, as Jang, the factional chairman, was said to have sent an apology over his inability to attend the meeting, fueling speculations that he would not object to decisions reached at the meeting.

It was gathered that a yet to be named governor moved that the forum should agree that Amaechi won the 2013 election and this move was unanimously adopted before the meeting proper proceeded.

At this point, the governor of Bauchi State, Mallam Isa Yuguda, excused himself from the meeting and left.

The NGF became polarised after 16 mainly Peoples Democratic Party governors, under Jang's leadership, rejected the outcome of the NGF election which Amaechi won with 19 votes.

While President Goodluck Jonathan and the PDP supported Jang, Amaechi enjoyed the support of opposition state governors as well as the court of public opinion.

Members of the two factions met formally for the first time in Abuja on Monday after the crisis which splitted the forum into two.

The chairman of the Northern Governors' Forum, Babangida Aliyu, gave a hint about what was likely to transpire during the meeting.

Aliyu, who spoke after a meeting of northern governors, a few hours before the commencement of the Nigeria Governors Forum meeting, said, northern governors are determined to broker a truce between the feuding factions in order to unite them for Nigeria's progress.

Amaechi, who is the leader of the NGF faction with 19 governors, attended  the event in company with Edo State governor, Adams Oshiomole, the Zamfara State governor, Abdulaziz Yari and the governor of Osun State, Ra'uf Aregbesola.

Other members of his faction in attendance were: Borno State governor, Kashim Shettima, Oyo State governor, Abiola Ajumobi,  the Deputy governor of Kano State, now governor elect, Umar Ganduje, while the governor of Nasarawa State, Umaru Al-Makura was represented by his deputy.

Although the governor of Plateau State, Jonah Jang, who is the leader of the 16 mostly PDP governors sent an apology for his absence, though prominent members of his faction were in attendance.

Leading the pack was the Akwa Ibom State governor, Godswill Akpabio, who is also the chairman of the PDP governors' forum.

Other members of the Jang faction who attended the peace meeting include: Bauchi State governor, Isa Yuguda, his Delta State counterpart, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan,  the Niger State governor, Babangida Aliyu, the governor of Kaduna State, Ramalan Yero, Kebbi State governor, Usman Dakingari, Benue State Governor, Gabriel Suswam and the deputy governor of Kogi State.

Those who were absent from the meeting include: the governors of Ogun, Ondo, Taraba, Plateau, Adamawa, Lagos, Gombe, Yobe, Bayelsa, Abia, Enugu, Ebonyi, Jigawa, Katsina, Cross, River, Imo, and Sokoto.

So President Jonathan Secretly Signed 2015 Budget Last Week

No comments :

President Goodluck Jonathan has signed the 2015 Appropriation Bill into law,it has been learnt.‎
Investigations revealed that Jonathan decided to sign the budget into law a couple of days back without fanfare.
As of the time of filing this report, it could not be confirmed why the President had kept the development away from public knowledge.
The Senate had passed the 2015 budget on April 28, following the passage of the same bill by the House of Representatives on April 23, with an expenditure outlay of N4.493tn, up from the N4.425tn proposed by the Executive.
There have been concerns among Nigerians on whether Jonathan will sign the budget before May 29 when he will formally hand over to Muhammadu Buhari or he will leave it behind for the incoming administration which is believed may still prepare a supplementary budget.
But a Presidency source told our correspondent that the President signed the budget about two weeks ago immediately after the document passed by the National Assembly was transmitted to him.
The source, however, said he did not know why the President chose to sign the document without making it public.
When contacted, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, also confirmed that Jonathan had signed the budget.
Although he also did not give any reason why the signing was not made public, Abati said the President signed the document "some weeks back."
The Senate, in passing the budget, slightly reduced the N2.607,601, 000,300 proposed by the Executive to N2.607,132,491,708 as recurrent expenditure and simultaneously scaled down the capital expenditure from N642,848,999,699 estimated in the proposal to N556,995,465,449.
The Chairman, Joint Senate Committee on Appropriation and Finance, Mohammed Maccido, explained that the details of the figure approved by the Senate in the document were not different from the version passed by the House of Representatives.
He added that the budget would be driven by $53 oil benchmark, an exchange rate of N190 to one US dollar; 2.2782m per barrel crude oil production per day; and a deficit gross domestic product of -1.12 per cent.
The budget also put fiscal deficit at N1.075tn; N953bn for debt service; N375.6bn as statutory transfers.
Education takes the lion's share of the budget with N392.3bn; followed by the military which gets N338.7bn while police commands and formations will receive N303.8bn.
In the same vein, N237bn was voted for the health sector; N153bn for the Ministry of Interior while N25.1bn was budgeted for the Ministry of Works.
Jonathan and successive heads of government had been signing the fiscal document in the full glare of media representatives and some members of the public, including the leadership of the National Assembly except for the period when the late President Umaru Yar'Adua was sick and members of his kitchen cabinet claimed that he signed the budget on his sick bed abroad.
The situation however changed in 2013 when a bad blood between the executive and the legislature over their differences on the budget forced Jonathan to sign the document in secret.
That year, Abati only issued a statement announcing that Jonathan had signed the bill into law.
Also last year, Jonathan signed the 2014 budget in secret and handed it over to the Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, and the Director, Budget Office, Dr. Bright Okogu, for implementation, two days after he signed it.
Abati had explained then that Okonjo-Iweala was not around when the President signed the budget, hence the need to formally it hand over to her.
"The President actually signed the 2014 Budget two days ago. But you know that the Minister of Finance was not in town. So he needed to hand over to her and the Director Budget for onward transmission. That was what he did today. The ministry will be addressing the press in the next one hour," Abati had said.

Stop Trekking For Buhari -President-Elect's Aide Tells Youths

No comments :

Alhaji Mohammed Shehu, an aide to President-elect Muhammadu Buhari has advised youths to pray instead of trekking for the incoming leader's administration.
Shehu gave this advice during interview  in Abuja on Monday.
According to him, the incoming administration acknowledges the excitement of youths over Buhari's election but would prefer that they channel their energies towards praying than embarking on, sometimes dangerous, journeys.
`It's kind of overwhelming. Last week, I told youths to stay where they are, stop trekking, and pray for the incoming administration instead.‎
`We have a lot of challenges; light, unemployment, insecurity, and so on.
`So it is more profitable for them to stay where they are and pray instead of taking the dangerous risk of walking all the way to Abuja'', Shehu said.
On the allegation that the trekkers were ignored, Shehu said: "that is not true. Even outsiders have been bringing gifts and food for them out of goodwill.
`It is untrue that they have been ignored or starved and this is not the first batch but you know the problem with this kind of situation is that when others hear, they keep coming.''
Some of the trekkers  said they had taken off at different times on the solidarity walk to the capital.
The only female among the group of 22, Lauratu Musa, said she took off from Kaduna eight days ago with her 15 year-old son, Adamu Abdullahi.
`I collected 28 goodwill letters from the various villages I lodged in on my way. This is my son, he was bitten on the way by plenty mosquitoes but we thank God we are here'', she said.
Alhaji Bulama Mustapha, the Deputy Chaiman of APC in Damaturu, told said on the telephone that the Youth Leader, Musbau Mohammed, "rode his bicycle from Damaturu.
`He had said from beginning that if Buhari won the election, he would ride to wherever he was to greet him and I kept in touch with him on phone all the way.''
Nwaopa Sunday said: "I'm here to strengthen relationship between the North and the East. I reside in Anambra and I trekked for 15 days.
`I visited NTA, Lokoja, Yangoji Palace and the Eze Ndi Igbo of the 19 Northern States, Uche Egenti, who gave me a solidarity letter on my way here.''
The trekkers, 22 in all, cut across various ages ranging from 20 to 63, and came from different parts of the country including Katsina, Kano, Adamawa, Yobe, Anambra and Kaduna States. (NAN)
