Ruqoya's Reverie: GUYS! What Ladies Really Want...

1 comment :

..........Honestly, these days, guys actually needs to study a course on women at school, because most of the ladies in a relationship or marriage complain of some nasty behaviour of you men. Well am going to give you a low down of these complaints and also ways to become a better man!
Now the first thing first... you men lack is 'ROMANCE' gosh! 68% of African men are not romantic, being romantic is not about slamming hard on the bed,but doing little things that would make her blush....
Naija men would say Naija ladies don't love flowers, guys its a big lie. Whether she is black or white she would love flowers, you don't have to wait for VALs day or occasions to send flowers, romantic notes or a box of chocolate to her. Taking her on a surprise lunch can also do the trick. Also you could invite her over to your crib and cook a nice meal, I can assure you that no matter how it tastes, she would eat it and be so glad you attempted it!

Another issue we need to talk about is your S3x life. Most men find it hard to ask their girl what she feels about the way they have s3x, you know»»» the styles and even if their is any new thing she would want to experiment! If you are a rich, caring, nice man and your girl still cheats on you then you need to check how you are doing that thing and make amends. This is also an important issue in marriages, because most couples never even talk about their s3x life!
Also ,you men should learn to send a thank you sms or card to your lady maybe once a year or three times, remind her of how grateful you are of her being in your life! You could even call her to tell her this whenever you remember those days you were still woeing her. If you do this, am very sure she would so much to appreciate the act.

Finally as a man, its okay for you to get jealous for some reasons, but never be too jealous and don't ever do stupid things when you are jealous, treat issues with a mature mind, express your self when you are jealous and angry but do it with your brain, because when you over react to little things like jealousy anger, the respect your lady has for you, would definitely vanish into thin her, do not be that stupid, never act like a high school boy when you are jealous, because this actually irritate women!
»»»this is from the LADIES' Purse!!!

The supplementary elections in the nine local governments in Abia State, rescheduled by INEC have left the people of Abia State in jubilant mode since the announcement of Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu as winner of the Abia State gubernatorial elections.
Jubilant supporters were seen at different locations in the state celebrating the victory of Dr. Ikpeazu. In Aba, youths could barely hide their excitement because this was the first time a true son of Ngwa origin had emerged as governor elect.
Expressing his joy to our correspondent a serving commissioner of Lands and Housing and former member of Abia State House of Assembly who also hails from Ukwu-Ngwa, Hon. K.O Mbeahuru could not hold back his emotions as he stated that Ikpeazu's victory has been long awaited by the entire Ngwa people both at home and in diaspora.
INEC had declared Ikpeazu winner with 264,713 votes to defeat the APGA's candidate Dr. Alex Otti, who scored 180,882 at the end of the re-run elections in the disputed nine local government areas.
A native of Obingwa local government area, in Abia South Senatorial Zone; the only zone yet to produce a governor for Abia state since its creation. Until his election as governor elect he had served as the Assistant General Manager of the Abia State Environmental Sanitation Agency in charge of Aba the state's commercial nerve centre. As a Ph.D holder in Chemistry, Ikpeazu had taught at the Enugu State University of Science and Technology before joining politics.
The Abia State Governor and Senator elect for Abia South Senatorial District, Governor T.A Orji had been adjudged to be the architect of Ikpeazu's emergence when he supported the zoning of the People's Democratic Party PDP's ticket to Abia South Senatorial Zone. According to the governor this was the only way to ensure that the principle of justice, equity and fairness is deepened within the party. "This is victory will remain one of my greatest legacies because Abians will always remember me as the governor who lived up to his promise of handing over power to the people of Ukwa-Ngwa whom had never been governor even since when Abia was under the old Imo State."
It will be recalled that some previous leaders had been reported to have vowed never to allow an Ngwa man become governor, but Governor T.A Orji insisted that such jinx must be broken by the PDP led state government.

Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu had since his declaration as winner, extended the olive branch to his opponent Dr. Alex Otti of APGA, in the keenly contested election which had to require a re-run after the April 11th elections were declared inconclusive by the INEC returning officer in some local governments. According to Dr. Ikpeazu, the victory belongs to all Abians regardless of their political or social lining because it is time for Abia State to move forward as this can only be possible when everyone comes on board.

#ReOpenLasuNow! Lasu Students Storm Governor's Office, Demand Reopening Of Citadel

Some students of the Lagos State University on Thursday protested against the continued closure of the institution.
The protesters, who marched to the Governor's Office, Ikeja at about 1pm, demanded immediate re-opening of the school, which was closed on March 16, 2015.
The placard-carrying protesters also appealed to Governor Babatunde Fashola to address the lingering labour issues in the institution.
Some of the inscriptions on the placards read, "Re-open LASU now"; "After election, wetin remain"; "LASU students are ready to resume," and "We want to graduate," among others.
It will be recalled that the state-owned institution was closed prior to the 2015 general elections.
While the state government cited elections for the closure, there was also a brewing labour crisis which had threatened the peace in the institution.

The crisis ─ a face-off between the Non-Academic Staff Union and the school management ─ had caused the indefinite postponement of the 20th convocation earlier scheduled for March 18 and 19, 2015.
The students on Thursday said it was no longer acceptable that the institution should remain shut since the general elections had been concluded for about three weeks.
President of the Student Union Government, Wasiu Adeyemi, said, "After the elections, we expect that they would allow the students to come back to school.
"But the government and the management have remained mute, which is unacceptable.
We want to learn, we want tp go back to school."
The students, in a position paper submitted to the governor, further appealed to Fashola to wade into the NASU/management face-off to let peace reign in the school.
While they sang and danced to songs to support the protest, some of the the students said they were optimistic that the government would work on their pleas.

Sad! Pregnant Woman Dies As OPC, Pipeline Vandals Clash

No comments :

Add BBN on 2BAFB965
Members of the Oodua People's Congress and some suspected pipeline vandals have clashed in Arepo, in the Obafemi Owode area of Ogun State.‎
It was gathered that the Wednesday clash caused pandemonium, which led to the killing of a pregnant woman, Mrs. Damilola Fajana, and another pedestrian. It was learnt that a suspected vandal had earlier been killed on Tuesday by some OPC members.
The Wednesday incident happened in the Unity Estate, around 3pm.
It was further gathered that a passerby was hit by bullet in the leg and was rushed to the hospital.
When our correspondent visited the community on Thursday, he observed that all shops in the estate were locked.
The road leading to the estate was also deserted as a few motorcycle riders were seen plying the area.
Around 11am, there was panic as some women suddenly took to their heels, saying the fight had started again.
It was learnt that the clash had been on since Monday.
A resident said, "The fight has been on for some days now. It is between some Ijaw youths and OPC members that the Federal Government employed to protect pipelines.
"But yesterday (Wednesday), it took a new dimension as they faced one another in broad daylight. There was heavy exchange of gunfire.
"A pregnant woman was in a car with her husband. A bullet pierced through the windscreen and hit the woman in the neck.
"Her husband was devastated and begged people to help. The woman did not survive the gunshot. She died there. We were told she was six months pregnant."
Another witness told our correspondent that the second victim was walking by the roadside when he was hit in the stomach by a stray bullet, which killed him.
"The man was hit in the stomach and died. Another person was hit in the leg and was rushed to a hospital," he said.

Our correspondent learnt that the OPC members and the vandals took the battle to the premises of a primary school in the area.
A large number of people were said to have been injured during the clash.

A source disclosed that earlier that day, the OPC members had combed some streets in the estate, searching for the suspected vandals.
He said, "They went to three different streets where the vandals usually sold fuel to residents. They met resistance on Ebute and Akinsanya streets. There was a serious clash on Ebute Street.
"It was after that clash that the OPC members launched a major offensive in the afternoon."
Our correspondent gathered from another resident that the suspected vandals had sought to pacify the OPC members.
It was learnt that the wife of one of the suspected vandals had sought audience with the ethnic militiamen, but the meeting did not go well.
He said, "This fight started after the suspected vandals sent a woman to the OPC members so they could come to an agreement.
"But the OPC members refused and attacked the woman. That was how the battle line was drawn."

It was learnt that people in the community are constantly disturbed by gunshots which start late at night into the early hours of the morning.
A woman said, "As from 3am, they would start their shooting which would continue till dawn.
"Everybody is scared. This area has always been peaceful until now. And I believe the vandals have increased their activities due to the fuel scarcity in the country."

It was further gathered that text messages and letters were being sent to residents to stay indoors as there would be more attacks.‎
Our correspondent was told that the information was to reduce the number of casualties.
A resident said, "I have just received a text message from my church that there will not be service today until Sunday because of the unrest."
A community leader, Mr. Victor Olajide, condemned the actions of the OPC men, adding that the government should withdraw them from the area.
He said, "On Tuesday, they raided the home of an Ijaw woman. She is neither involved in vandalism nor an accomplice. But after ransacking her house and destroying her things, they shot one person dead there.
"Yesterday (Wednesday), a stray bullet killed a woman. These people are not educated and they don't have the technicality to handle the kind of job they have been given. The government should train the police better to handle the job and the OPC members should be withdrawn."

However, the OPC National Coordinator, Gani Adams, denied that OPC members fired the shots that killed the victims.
He said, "What happened was that in less than 24 hours that the police were withdrawn from the pipelines, our men intercepted about 50 jerrycans, each containing 60 litres of stolen fuel. They were loaded in three vehicles.
"We were able to arrest one of the vandals, but the second person jumped into the water and escaped.
"The fuel was taken to the NNPC depot at Mosimi.
"But the hoodlums protecting the vandals came against our men and began shooting into the community.
"In the process, two people were shot dead on Wednesday."

The Police Public Relations Officer, Ogun State Command, Muyiwa Adejobi, confirmed the incident.
He added that the corpse of the pregnant woman had been deposited in a morgue.
He said, "The bullet hit the pregnant woman in the neck and she died.
"We just heard that there was exchange of gunfire, so we don't know who exactly fired the shot."
