Anyway, after a popular blogger reported the hit, N6 has since brought down the tweet with an indirect apology "Eniola I love u... POP HOLD IT DOWN! 😩"

Stephen Ikechukwi Keshi has been out of contract with the NFF over the management of the senior men's national team since 2014 and the former Super Eagles defender looked to try his hands somewhere else but the Burkina Faso FA went another way.

Stephen Keshi had been shortlisted for the job of manager of the Burkina Faso national team alongside former Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac and German, Gernot Rohr. Burkina Faso decided to go with Gernot Rohr, offering the German a four year contract, leaving Keshi out in the cold. Keshi who has been left in the dark over the NFF's plans concerning a new contract for "the big boss" is now forced to look for employment elsewhere.

The Nigerian Football Federation have been reluctant to offer Keshi a new contract with reports circulating that the NFF are set to look for another experienced international manager in the former Togo manager's place.

When the 15 years old son of Manchester United legend David Beckham opted to sign his first professional contract for arsenal ahead of his father's former club Manchester United and London rivals Chelsea last year, many of us thought the youngster was on his way to stardom in an Arsenal jersey.

That was not to be as Brooklyn Beckham, who as been training with the club's academy on trials and was said to have exhibited the qualities that made Sir alex Ferguson snap up his father in july 1991 at the tender age of 16 and the north London outfit hand him first professional contract which runs out at the end of the 2014/15 season.

We understand that the youngster is seriously vexed because he felt he had done enough to earn a new to year, though the Arsenal youth team coach feels appreciates the kids talent, he was not sure the player was rip enough for a new two year deal with the gunner, which automatically rues him out of the Arsenal scholarship scheme, but he was also swift to note that Brooklyn has the potential to make the senior team grade of other top teams.

24-year old Starboy boss, Wizkid has officially emerged the king of social media battles as he is really getting quite aggressive on social media.

In the last couple of months, he has showed how aggressive he can be and in the last 8 months, Wizkid has faced off with more showbiz stars in the industry than anyone else.

He began in July 2014 when he fired shots at HKN boss, Davido, the prolonged beef, which has now been resolved, was one of the most talked-about issues in the Nigerian entertainment industry in the whole of 2014.

In October 2014, Wizkid and his former producer, Samklef came at each other online, calling each other names with accusations and counter accusations.

While still trying to assimilate the Samklef vs Wizkid brouhaha, another fast rising act, Saeon came at Wizkid, accusing him of not supporting the song on which she featured him and as expected, Wizkid responded in a series of tweets and TV interviews, saying among other things that he doesn't even know Saeon and that they are not friends.

Now, in February 2015, Wizkid and his ex-label mate, Skales are currently causing a an online drama with some very mean words, accusations and jabs that have left the Nigerian social media space and blogsphere buzzing with stories of both stars.

In the past, Wizkid has also had online face offs with other super stars like Banky W, J Martins, Tonto Dikeh and Cyrus Da Virus.

Baseline Music act, Skales has deleted all the tweets he posted Monday lashing out at his former label mate, Wizkid.

The singer who is gearing up for the release of his debut album, Man of the Year, got into a messy tweet fight with Starboy boss, Wizkid in the afternoon of Monday, February 23, 2015 but by later in the day, all the tweets relating to the beef with Wizkid had been deleted.

Wizkid, however, has so far kept to his words, after a series of tweets and insults he directed at Skales. His last tweet reads: 'No more tweets for a month! Blessings and love', and so far he hasn't tweeted nor deleted the insults he hauled back at Skales.

The duo went at each other on social media yesterday, February 23, 2015, calling themselves out and washing their dirty linen in public.

And now, Skales's boo, Sasay has decided to get involved, defending her boyfriend in a series of tweets in which she also lashed out at Wizkid.

In one of her tweets, Sasay, who has been dating Skales for two years now, said: 'Before you tweet trash about someone's hustle, think first, has your hustle paid? How much do u fucking make? Can you afford a girl like me?'

Now, isn't it getting interesting, we wait to see if there is any chance that Wizkid's well known boo, Tania Omotayo, will get involved now or later.

E.M.E boss, Banky W was once the official record label boss of Skales and now Starboy boss, Wizkid.

More than that, the three music stars enjoyed a night out together on Sunday night at Mega Plaza, Lagos where the 'GATP' event was held. They drank, played and lounged together at the same table. Then a few hours after, Wizkid and Skales caused a Twitter meltdown when they began firing shots and throwing jabs at each other.
While all this was going on, Banky W kept mum on all his social media accounts, only to announce later that he is aboard a flight heading to London to be back in Lagos in a few days.‎

BlackBox Nigeria can authoritatively confirm that the management of Lagos State University has approved the third day of March for the postponed Students' Union election of the citadel.

In a statement obtained by BBN, the Vice chancellor disclosed that the elections which were postponed for academic reasons would now be held next month to ensure a smooth running of all activities on campus.

"In line with the Vice Chancellor's commitment to the sustenance of an independent and vibrant students' union body and the need to ensure a smooth running of the academic calender with its attendant activities, the university management has approved a new date for the 2015 students' union elections," the statement read in part.

The management also urged the candidates and all students to conduct themselves in an orderly manner as the countdown to the elections begin.

BBN Campus correspondent however reports that the latest development have thrown the university community into a frenzy as politicking has again been ignited amongst the various contenders and varrying interests.

Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola while speaking with journalists recently at the Nigerian Conservation Centre in Lekki said he bought a vault where he will be buried four years ago even as he said his administration is about to build two new cemeteries in the state.

Fashola said every human being must plan for his exit, since death is inevitable, saying that most people did not always prepare for their burying place.

The governor spoke after inspecting the proposed Cemetery for both Muslims and Christians in the state, located along Lekki Epe Expressway, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria.

He lamented that most people could not access some of the old cemeteries where their loved ones were buried several years ago, adding that people must plan for their demise they way they plan for success while alive.
"We are going to deliver a cemetery like no other, there will also be competitive really. We will manage it and make the cost competitive which is what you hear him discussing. There will be high density vault, there will be medium density vault and low density vault for really want to make a statement at their exit.
"It is a truism of life everyone who come must go. So as we are building hospitals to receive new born babies, schools to teach them survival skills in life and starting businesses, We must also plan for the end and this may sound as what people don't want to discuss, I have bought my own vault. It surprises people I paid for it about four years ago. I always tell people if you come here to live, you must plan to go. Those who don't want to go shouldn't come," he stated.

The Federal Executive Council earlier today (Wednesday) approved nine new private universities for the country. 
The approval was given at a meeting presided over by Vice President Namadi Sambo.
Minister of Aviation, Mr. Osita Chidoka, announced the decision at a post-FEC press briefing. 
The new private universities, according to Chidoka, include Hallmark University, Michael and Cecilia Ibru University, Kings University, Mountain Top University, Augustine University, Chrisland University and Summit University among others.

One person died and several others injured after some hoodlums clashed in the Oshodi area of Lagos on Wednesday.

Our correspondent observed that no fewer than 12 vehicles were vandalised and 15 others burnt during the mayhem, which reportedly began on Tuesday evening.

Business activities in the Mosafejo and Under-brige sections of the popular market have been grounded as security operatives took over the areas.

Traffic on the Oshodi-Apapa Expressway and the Ikorodu Road remained at a standstill for hours while the battle raged.

The Nigerian Senate stepped down the ministerial confirmation hearing for Senator Musiliu Obanikoro today.

The Senate did not give any reason the hearing was suspended or whether it was connected with the several petitions against his nomination.

Obanikoro and his family were sighted at the Senate gallery today, but left after it appeared the hearing has been suspended, tweeted Senator Babafemi Ojudu today.

The embattled former minister of state for defence, had resigned his appointment last year October to contest the governorship seat in Lagos, on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party.

He lost to Jimi Agbaje and after initially decrying his loss as a fraud and instituting a legal challenge, he dramatically withdrew his suit in a Federal High Court, in Abuja.

He was subsequently nominated as a minister, by President Goodluck Jonathan.

But the nomination is facing a barrage of criticisms aa Obanikoro is mired in the scandal of working in cahoot with the military to rig the 21 June election in Ekiti state, last year, in favour of Governor Ayodele Fayose.

An audio, documenting the rigging plan, with Brigadier Aliyu Momoh of the Nigerian army has gone viral, further fuelling public resentment against deploying the military for poll duties.

President Goodluck Jonathan has had to reverse his position on the scandal.

He initially dismissed the audio as a fabrication in an interview with The Wall Street Journal. As public anger swelled, he said again in an interview with ThisDay, that investigation of the audio tape by the DSS, has been stalled because the man who recorded it, Captain Sagir Koli, has run out of the country.

Jonathan did not acknowledge that Koli ran away after he sensed danger to his life, by superiors who ordered his arrest. His 15 year old brother was arrested and tortured, after he escaped.

The Nobel Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka has joined the chorus of demands for a probe into the scandal.

In a statement on Tuesday, Mr. Soyinka asked the Independent National Electoral Commission to work with the international community to conduct the investigation and make the findings of the exercise known to save Nigeria's democracy.

He said brushing the issue aside as just electoral malpractice approaches criminal subversion and treason.

Mr. Fayose defeated the All Progressives Congress candidate and then governor, Kayode Fayemi, in the election.

The leaked tape captured the voices of Obanikoro, Mr. Fayose, former senator Iyiola Omisore; the Minister of Police Affairs, Jelili Adesiyan; his predecessor, Caleb Olubolade; and army brigadier-general , Aliyu Momoh.

A 70-year old village chairman in Imo State has allegedly slumped and died after a marathon s3x with two secondary girls aged 14 and 16 in a hotel room located at Ogbaku, part of the State.
The deceased, identified as Collins Iheanacho, until his death was said to be the village chairman of Umueye village in Irete autonomous community, Owerri and a retired staff of Chevron Oil company.

According to the source, he was always fond of bringing little girls to the hotel, but he met his death this time around.‎
However, the two teenagers were said to have been his regular $3x partners even after reprimands by their parents.

It was also gathered that both girls had honoured the invitation of the man at the weekend at a hotel located at an interior part of Ogbaku.
The two girls, who attend a junior secondary school in the area were said not to be aware of their joint visit to the man until they met at the hotel.

On arrival at the hotel room, the two girls jumped into bed with their $3x partner almost at the same time. However, he had barely finished a $3xual round with one of the girls when suddenly he started panting and later gave up the ghost.

However, sensing danger, the girls left their lover boy in the hotel room until they were later arrested at their respective homes by the police.

Confirming the ugly incident, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mr. Andrew Enwerem, revealed that the girls had been arrested and were already in police custody while police investigation was on.

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has said that the All Progressives Congress (APC) must apologise for lying to Nigerians on the health status of its presidential candidate, Major-General Mohammadu Buhari (rtd), using pictures taken in Transcop Hilton, Abuja and claiming that the pictures were taken in London.Fayose said "it was interesting that the loquacious APC Spokesperson,‎ Lai Mohammed, could develop a cold feet and muscle pull in his mouth such that he suddenly realised that he could not join issues with Fayose."
In a statement issued by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, Governor Fayose said; "The Chatham House's one hour event scheduled for Thursday was paid for by the APC with the hope that Buhari will be well enough to appear in public briefly by Thursday.
"The Event's Contact person, Chris Vandome, confirmed via phone call that the event was 'Jointly Sponsored' by the APC and Chatham House."
The governor said; "Having lied so brazenly that Buhari granted interview in London, using pictures taken in Transcop Hilton, Abuja, it is obvious that the APC is a party of deceitful people that should not be taken seriously by Nigerians.
"If APC says that today is Tuesday, Nigerians should check calender to be sure."
He hailed The Guardian newspaper for being honourable enough to publish an apology yesterday, on the false picture it used on Sunday, asking:
"When is APC going to be humble enough to apologise to Nigerians?
"Hopefully, the APC expects to bombard Nigerians with pictures of Buhari's one hour appearance in Chatham House on Friday, using that to
cover up the real reasons he travelled to the United Kingdom.
"However, we expect them to publish pictures of Buhari's departure from the Abuja Airport, Buhari queuing at the Airport to board his flight as they claimed, Buhari being interviewed by journalists at the Airport, Buhari boarding his flight and waving at those who followed him to the Airport and Buhari being welcomed at the Airport in London.
"If actually Buhari travelled out of Nigeria under a normal condition, could he have passed through the Abuja Airport without any of the ‎aviation journalists interviewing him?
"So, those covering up Buhari's health issue should know that his paid appearance at Chatham Houseon Thursday will not do the PR they are
expecting. Rather, it will raise further questions which they can only answer by saying the truth and apologising for the lies they told," the governor said.

Arsene Wenger has denied rumours Jack Wilshere has suffered another injury setback ahead of Arsenal 's Champions League clash with Monaco on Wednesday night.

The 23-year-old suffered a serious ankle injury in a collision with Paddy McNair as Arsenal fell to a 2-1 home defeat to Manchester United in
November.

And although he is on the verge of an Arsenal comeback, Wilshere missed the first team's open training session prior to the encounter
with Monaco and was an unused substitute on Saturday as the Gunners defeated Crystal Palace 2-1.

However Wenger played down speculation that this was because of a new injury, telling reporters: "He was rested in training today. There's no setback."

Arsenal host Leonardo Jardim's side in the first leg of the last-16 clash and are heavy favourites to progress, but Wenger has warned against complacency.
"We have had 17 consecutive seasons in this competition. 'Easy' is a word you need to ban in the Champions League," he added.

The fate of a 17-year-old boy, Aliu Oladeni, who was clamped in detention by the Igando Police Station since June 2014, has remained unknown.

His relatives said the police at the division, who had been dribbling the family, collected over N160, 000 to release him on bail, but had yet to do so.

The victim's relatives said they believed he was still alive, despite the side remarks by some people around the station that he might have been killed by the police.

It was learnt that Aliu was detained at the station as an accomplice in a robbery operation, after the prime suspect, identified as Sodiq, took a mob to his house.

Our correspondent was told that the mob did not meet him at home but vandalised some of the family's property before leaving with a warning to be back.

Aliu's mother, Bola Oladeni, said she was assisting a neighbour, who was having a wedding in the adjoining street, when she learnt there was commotion in her house.

She said, "It was on Sunday morning, June 22. Some people came to our house with sticks and cutlasses. I was not around, but as soon as I got the information, I went home. They had broken our door and damaged the ceilings. They said they were looking for Aliu.

"They said they caught one of his friends, Sodiq, who was involved in a robbery operation the previous night, and he said he was one of his accomplices.‎
"We told them Aliu was not around, and they promised to be back."

She said Aliu had gone to a viewing centre to see a football match the previous night and had slept in the place.
It was learnt that while the mob left the house for the Igando Police Division, Aliu's siblings went to the viewing centre and took Aliu to the station.

Our correspondent was told that the decision was to avert the return of the mob to the house.
Aliu's sister, Fatimoh, said the family met the station swelling with crowd, which included Sodiq and the complainant, a woman, who lived in Ikotun.
They were said to be making their statements on the incident.
She said, "My father asked to see the woman whose house was burgled and he begged the police if he could ask the woman a question. The Investigating Police Officer said he could.
"He asked the complainant if he spotted Aliu during the incident, and she said no. She said there were three robbers who came to her house, and they were not masked, so she saw their faces clearly. She said it was while they were about escaping that Sodiq was caught.
"It was after the mob had tortured him that they asked him to take them round to the houses of his friends. And that was how he brought them to our house.
"But the policemen at the station attacked my father and he fell down. They said he should stop teaching them their job."

Aliu's elder brother, Murtala, a footballer, explained that he used to know Sodiq as Aliu's friend, until he left the area about a year ago.
"He left this area about a year ago and was separated from my brother. After he finished secondary school, Aliu went to learn how to make bags. After he was done, he ventured into screen printing and was preparing for his graduation when the incident happened.
"When the mob brought Sodiq that day, I asked him where he had been for more than one year, and he didn't say anything. When we got to the police station, and people asked him if it was Aliu or not, he still didn't say a word," he said.

Our correspondent was told that the police, however, visited Aliu's house the same day and after ransacking the house, they didn't find any incriminating material.

They were said to have demanded the payment of N80,000 for his bail.
Aliu's sister said, "After we paid the money, the police told us they could not remove his name from a list they had prepared because they were transferring the matter to the state Special Anti-Robbery Squad.
"A man, who lives in our house, then took my father to the then Igando Divisional Police Officer, CSP Benjamin Osuji, and after much appeal, we pay another N80,000.
"The neighbour, Mr. Charles, called the DPO in our house and at a point in their conversation, they switched to Ibo language. We didn't understand their conversation, but he always told us the DPO was working on the release of my brother."

It was further learnt that after the payment, the policemen at the station started ignoring telephone calls from the family.

The family said lawyers hired to help in the release of Aliu, informed them the police had told them to forget about the case.

Aliu's father, Sunday Oladeni, a mechanic, said an inspector from the Igando Station told the family that Aliu might never be seen again.

He said, "The inspector told me we should pray because I might never see my son again, saying his case had been taken to Federal SARS in Abuja. We have spent so much without any result.

"Let them allow us see him and if he has done anything bad, let them take the matter to court."

The Police Public Relations Officer, Kenneth Nwosu, said the former DPO of Igando Police Station, Osuji, denied collecting any money from Aliu's family.

He said, "It is an armed robbery case. You said the boy was 17 years, but I have been told he is not 17. I have also spoken with the DPO in question and he denied taking money from the family. The matter has been transferred from the station."

When asked on Monday where the suspect was transferred to, Nwosu said he had not been able to ascertain it, but that he would get back to our correspondent.

He had, however, yet to do so as of Tuesday evening when the report was filed.

Operator(s) of @SegunObasanjo, a controversial Twitter handle associated with former President Olusegun Obasanjo, may have to look elsewhere for another deceptive platform. The account has been deactivated from the social networking platform.

Investigation shows that the account, which was still active last weekend, was removed from Twitter on Tuesday.

The Twitter handle rode on the back of the recent political rift between Obasanjo and President Goodluck Jonathan to gain prominence. It enjoyed regular visits by politicians and journalists, who saw it as a useful source of information.

Cashing in on the internal conflict in the Peoples Democratic Party, in which Obasanjo was a key factor, the operator (s) in the account attacked perceived enemies of the former President and responded to their remarks.

A number of the statements credited to Obasanjo, even by many media organisations (BlackBox Nigeria excluded), were sourced from the fake account.

Indeed, Obasanjo publicly refuted some of the statements posted by the operator(s) and dissociated himself from any existing social media account.

Last weekend, the unknown tweeter(s), who were obviously responding to the reactions that trailed Obasanjo's exit from PDP, attacked the former Minister of Aviation and Director of Media/Publicity of the PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation, Femi Fani-Kayode, describing him as a "wrecker" of democracy.

"Fani-Kayode is a democracy wrecker, who is very fluent in stupidity. Give him food, and he will sing and do 'shoki' dance for you," the tweet said.

But, reacting to the tweet on Monday, Obasanjo reiterated that he was not on Twitter or Facebook having closed the accounts he maintained on the platforms earlier.

"I don't know where this comes from. I do not have any account on either Facebook or Twitter again. Go and block it," he warned the unknown operator(s).

He cautioned those using his name to operate illegal social media accounts, saying the security agencies had been placed on the alert to fish out the perpetrators.

He said, "Let me say that nemesis will catch up with anyone doing this. It is illegal and criminal. If I have to pass any message to the good people of Nigeria, I know how to go about it with no controversy."

The @SegunObasanjo operator(s) may have heeded Obasanjo's threat to have them arrested by the security agencies if they failed to stop operating the illegal account. But the former President could only pray that other cloned accounts do not enjoy as much popularity the deactivated one.

Some of the existing accounts believed to have been targeted at exploiting his personality are @OlusegunObasnjo, @BabaIyabo, @BabaObasanjo and @Obasanjo. The accounts were opened between 2011 and 2014. Obasanjo's identity also faces a similar duplication on Facebook.

The former President may not be the only person among past leaders of the country (especially former Heads of State) that is facing the rising identity theft on the new media. Gen. Ibrahim Babangida (retd.)'s name also features on different social networking platforms.

One of the Twitter accounts opened in Babangida's name has gained prominence in recent weeks with bloggers scooping information from the page and attributing it to the retired general.

Even with a clear indication that the handle supposedly operated by Babangida is a "parody account", notable public figures, including governors, are among its 16,400 followers.

The suspicious account tweets messages almost every hour and takes a critical look at issues that shape political discussion. On Tuesday, it tweeted, "Nigerian journalists are pretenders. They pretend they did not hear about the Ekiti leaked tape, but they are the first to report the speculation on the health of the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari."

Operator(s) of the account also took a swipe at Fani-Kayode and the former Minister of State for Defence, Musliu Obanikoro, describing them as "dangerous political prostitutes."

Online media(BBN excluded) had recently attributed a tweet on the page, alleging that Fani-Kayode was a taxi driver in the United Kingdom until Obasanjo brought him to Nigeria and "changed his life," to the former Head of State.

But the ex-minister responded, saying, "From birth, my family has had the best chauffeur-driven cars in the UK and other parts of the world. I hardly used taxis much less drove one."

The Lagos state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has berated Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti state over his recent attacks on its presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari, saying that the Ekiti governor is mentally sick and needs the immediate attention of a psychiatric doctor.

Speaking through a press statement signed by the Lagos state publicity secretary of the party Mr Joe Igbokwe, the APC boasted that not a million Fayoses can prevent General Buhari from being sworn in as the democratically elected president of Nigeria on May 29, 2015.

Anybody who sees Ayo Fayose, the so-called governor of Ekiti State should please beg him to see a psychiatric doctor before it is too late. From the look of things now I do not know if the man ever sleeps at all.

From the look of things I can say authoritatively that he wakes up in the dead of the night to cry and curse the day General Buhari was born. I am sure he has fallen out with everybody; his siblings and members of his family included because of this Buhari factor.

After robbing former governor Fayemi of Ekiti State, Fayose has been on top of the world celebrating his so-called victory until the bubble burst.

When the result of the June 21 Ekiti gubernatorial election was made public I remember I told anybody who cares to listen that APC must find out what went wrong before it happens in other APC states. When the elections shifted to Osun State, APC knew that it has to stand up or PDP will get bolder and repeat the same onslaught.

APC took the bull by the horns and the rest is now history. Now almost seven months after, the sordid story of what took place in Ekiti began to emerge.

It took the well-respected online publishing company, Sahara Reporters to unravel what went wrong in Ekiti State. Nigeria and the world was shown the audio recording of how Ayo Fayose, Musliu Obanikoro, Chris Ubah, Iyiola Omisore, Police Affairs Minister, Jelili Adesiyan, Brigadier General Momoh and many others conspired to rob former governor Fayemi at gun point.

Ayo Fayose, Jelili, Obanikoro have since acknowledged their presence at the meeting but still denying the obvious and painful truth that they ordered the police and military personnel around and used them extensively to steal Ekiti State at gun point.

But the worst hit in this criminality and brigandage is the man Ayo Fayose. Never in the history of this country have we seen this type of abuse of the military in a civilian dispensation by a bloody civilian. Ever since General Buhari emerged the candidate of APC and the events that have followed his emergence Ayo Fayose has been a ghost of himself.

He fears Buhari more than anything under the sun. Even though Buhari is yet to win the Presidential elections slated for February 14 2015 and now shifted to March 28 2015, Ayo Fayose will not sleep.

He fears even his shadow and even a knock at the door by his siblings, his aides and neighbours. For Ayo Fayose, the fear of Buhari is now the beginning of wisdom.

This is the reason he wants General Buhari dead by all means. Fayose once bought the front pages of The Punch and The Sun Newspapers not only to pass a death sentence on Buhari because the man is 72, he used the same medium to mock dead leaders from a section of the country.

Fayose nearly provoked an ethnic war in the country but the situation was managed by leaders across Nigeria who rose in their thousands to condemn Fayose without mincing words. But Fayose will not listen.

Soon Fayose started the campaigns that Buhari is sick. He has been trailing the APC Presidential candidate anywhere he goes. He has been monitoring the man's movement anywhere he goes. Buhari travelled to London and Fayose followed him to London claiming that GMB has gone for treatment.

Now can't Buhari go for medical check up like every other Nigerian of his status? Can't Buhari go for treatment just like any other Nigerian of his calibre?

What is wrong in anybody going for medical check up or treatment? When has it become an offence for prominent leaders to go for check up? On Monday in all the papers and everywhere on the internet, the mentally slow Fayose said BUHARI CAN NEVER RULE NIGERIA.

Now who is Ayo Fayose in Nigeria that will stop candidate Buhari? Where is his capacity and capability to stop this movement? Who is behind this loose canon?

Who is beating the drum for this Unclad dancer? Of what meat is Ayo Fayose fed? I know that a million Ayo Fayoses cannot stop Buhari from being sworn in as president on May 29, 2015. I know Fayose is playing to the gallery.

I know Fayose is being tormented by his past. Fayose has two murder cases hanging on his neck. Fayose has used thugs to attack a High Court Judge. Fayose has abused the State Assembly in Ekiti State.

Fayose has abused and frustrated the Speaker by using five members of the House to impeach him. Fayose has used five members to screen his Commissioners. Fayose has passed the 2015 Budget with five members of the House of Assembly out of 26 members.

Power has turned Fayose to something else that he no longer thinks. Soon Fayose will be called to come and give an account of his open criminality and brigandage in Ekiti. Buhari will bring Fayose to judgment in the fullness of time.

The world is now seeing why Jonathan must go for Nigeria to breathe fresh air. Fayose knows that the moment General wins this election he has to run away from Nigeria.

He knows that he is sitting on a stolen mandate. He knows that he needs nobody to advise him on what to do the moment it becomes obvious that Buhari is the next president of Nigeria. A thief runs when nobody is pursuing him.

The destruction and defacing of posters and billboards in major cities in Ogun assumed a different dimension on Monday as some aides of the Peoples Democratic Party's governorship candidate, Gboyega Isiaka, slept at the sites where his campaign billboards were hoisted in Abeokuta.

This action followed the destruction of wooden life-size portraits of Isiaka placed in strategic points in the state capital that were allegedly destroyed by agents of the ruling All Progressives Congress.

Isiaka had alleged that the movable wooden portraits placed on Moshood Abiola Way were removed while the one at OPIC Junction was destroyed.

However, the Director of Media, Ibikunle Amosun Campaign Organisation, Mr. Femi Sowoolu, denied the allegation saying, "It is not true. The allegation is a mere figment of imagination."

The state coordinator of Goodluck and Gboyega Youth Movement, Fatai Adesegun, while warning the agents of the state government against destroying PDP banners, said some of them sleep at billboard sites of the governorship candidate, in order to prevent reoccurrence.

"Some of our men had to sleep overnight on Monday at the strategic points where we have the movable boards of the governorship candidate in Abeokuta. The strategy worked. No one dared deface or remove them," he said.

It appears the war against insurgency in the North Eastern part of the country have now been turned into a political issue as seen in the way the major political parties have continued lay credence to different aspects of the war.
The latest is the branding of a terro group Boko Haram as a mere band of criminals. In a statement by the APC's spokesman, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party berated the President for being able to tackle the Boko Haram menace even after the country have successfully engaged in peace keeping missions abroad.

He said:

"Is it not curious that a military that has been globally acknowledged for its successes in peacekeeping at regional and international levels has suddenly found itself unable to tackle a band of criminals?"

The All Progressives Congress has accused President Goodluck Jonathan of allowing the Boko Haram insurgency to fester, leading to the deaths of over 15,000 Nigerians and the displacement of over three million others in the past six years.

This, the party said, puts a huge moral burden on the President, noting that this would haunt him for a long time to come.

The National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Lai Muhammed, said this in a statement he issued in London on Tuesday.

The party also hailed the military for the successes it had recorded in the battle against Boko Haram in recent times, saying the string of victories confirmed the party's stand that the Nigerian military could hold its own anywhere and anytime, if provided with the necessary equipment and if the morale of the troops was not undermined.

Mohammed said by his own admission, President Jonathan accepted that he and his team 'underrated the capacity of Boko Haram', thus finally owning up to his globally-acknowledged incompetence, which in truly democratic societies, should be part of a statement of resignation by a leader.

According to him, Jonathan's "terrible error of judgment" had caused so many deaths and inflicted so much pain and sorrow on Nigerians.

The statement partly read, "The truth is that President Jonathan deliberately allowed the Boko Haram crisis to fester because he and his team saw it as their trump card for winning re-election in 2015 by currying local and global sectarian sympathy with a Muslim-group-killing-Christians narrative that totally distorts the fact that Boko Haram is a band of marauders who have no consideration for ethnicity, regionalism, religion or any other thing beyond their mad disposition to terror.‎
"The marauders are equal-opportunity killers who went after Christians, Muslims, northerners, southerners, men, women, the old, the young, the rich and the poor.
"It recalled that the APC had raised the alarm on many occasions, including during an appearance at the British Parliament in 2014 when the party's spokesman, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, said the PDP and President Jonathan were using the Boko Haram crisis as a trump card to retain power in 2015.
"Is it not curious that the same President who has stood by while Boko Haram decimates a whole section of the country over the past six years has suddenly realised there is something he could do to crush the sect in six weeks?
"Is it not curious that a military that has been globally acknowledged for its successes in peacekeeping at regional and international levels has suddenly found itself unable to tackle a band of criminals?
"Is it not curious that the necessary fighting equipment that have not been made available to the military, despite the injection of over $32bn into the defence and security sector since 2008, have suddenly become available?"

The APC also asked at what point did President Jonathan begin to have a clear idea that Boko Haram is a major threat to the very survival of our country or was it after about 300 innocent girls were abducted from their school in Chibok or before?
"Was it after hundreds of boys were slaughtered in a secondary school in Buni Yadi or before? Or, was it before or after the Nyanya blast that led to the deaths of hundreds of people? Just when did our President wake up to his primary responsibility?" it further queried.

The APC insisted that the truth is that the PDP-led Jonathan Administration stepped up the campaign against the insurgents to revive their electoral fortunes which nosedived with the activities to the sect.

Mohammed also said, "President Jonathan, who is also the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, must take responsibility for the monumental cost, whether of his incompetence or his political strategy-gone-awry or both, apologise to the nation and immediately back down from seeking re-election.
"The President must not be allowed to profit from an error of judgment that has cost 15,000 lives, forced over 3 million out of their homes and cost the taxpayers $32.88bn."

The party also expressed concern at the efforts of the Jonathan administration to make Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau look invincible, with the President's statement that Shekau would be caught before the elections.

A scheduled debate on the use of the military during elections was postponed till Wednesday (today).

The House had last week referred the matter to its joint Committees on Rules/Business, Justice and Judiciary for advice after it pitted PDP and APC lawmakers against one another.

The   Chairman of the joint committees,   Albert Sam-Tsokwa, had told the House that a report on the deliberations on the issue was ready but asked to be allowed to present it on Wednesday(today).

This came as members unanimously commended the Armed Forces for the successes they recorded against Boko Haram   in the North-East in the last few days.

The House also praised President Goodluck Jonathan, saying the armed forces achieved the feat owing to the support he (Jonathan) gave to them by releasing funds for sophisticated weapons.

Meanwhile, the House leadership   has declined   to give the official numerical strength of its PDP and APC members.

A series of defections since December 2014, has cut the membership of the PDP to around 161, while the APC's jumped to about 180.

The development implies that the APC is now the majority party.

However, the leadership structure of the House has remained unchanged with the PDP still occupying majority leadership seats.

A lawmaker from Imo State,   Nnana Igbokwe, had moved a motion on Tuesday asking that the Clerk to the House,   Mohammed Sani-Omolori, should be directed to release the official figures of both parties.

Igbokwe argued that this was necessary so that the issue of which party was the majority should no longer be left to guesswork.

"Defections are bound to continue and we have to keep updating from time to time," he added.

But, Ihedioha quickly ruled that the matter of House leadership was still in court.

It will be recalled that last week, the Speaker,   Aminu Tambuwal, also ruled out a similar motion on the same grounds of the issue being in court.

A motion on the alleged disrespectful conduct and utterances of the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone II Command,   Joseph Mbu, on Tuesday divided members of the House   of Representatives along party lines.

An All Progressives Congress   member, Alo Madaki, had moved a motion asking the House to "condemn" Mbu for alleged violations of the 1999 Constitution and showing "disrespect for the rule of law."

Madaki recalled that Mbu recently directed officers and men under his command to "disregard any immunity being enjoyed by state governors" under his zone.

He also said the AIG had directed his men to kill as many people as possible in retaliation for any policeman killed during the forthcoming general elections.

Madaki also told the House that Mbu "abused" his office when he served as the Commissioner of Police, Rivers State Command.

He argued that Mbu's conduct and utterances were a violation of the constitutional immunity of the governors and also proved that he had little regard for the lives of Nigerians.

But, Peoples Democratic Party   members consistently interrupted him, accusing him of passing judgment on Mbu, whom they had not heard from.

A member from Ebonyi State,   Linus Okorie, raised a point of order to stop Madaki.

Okorie shouted that Mbu must first be given fair hearing before a judgment of condemnation was passed on him.

The House suddenly became rowdy as the APC lawmakers shouted at Okorie to sit down.

"Sit down; sit down; you don't have anything to say", some of them shouted.

As the row continued,   Ihedioha tried to rule on the motion, but he too was interrupted by both parties.

However, pressure was mounted on Madaki to amend his motion to read that the House should "investigate" Mbu's alleged conduct and utterances.

Madaki deleted "condemn" from the motion and replaced it with "investigation by the House Committee on Police Affairs" before the motion was later passed in a majority voice vote.

It has become difficult of late for the PDP members   in the House and their APC colleagues to speak with one voice on any issue.

The rift grew wider following a series of defections from the PDP to the APC.
