I cannot believe this, what do I do? Jesus! How do I resolve this?!  Right now?! Really!!!!‎
Eno found it difficult to think in her high state, She sat in the car confused, tried to start the car again, no luck. Eno got out of the car terrified, it was 11:45PM, she paced back and forth as cars sped off past her. She pulled a lever inside the car to open up the bonnet and see if she can fiddle with something under the hood that can help her start the car.
As she stood on the bridge in her tight short black leather dress, she noticed how it seemed like the bridge was moving beneath her, sort of a slow bounce, this isn't the alcohol, she told herself.
People had always told her they had that kind of experience on third mainland bridge but she never experienced it before, she went back into the car and locked herself in. If only she wasn't so wasted, she would know what to do right now. What to do! What to do!! She spoke to herself softly.
Call Marouf!! A bright bulb light up in her head.
Seems like the only thing to do right now, he is her trusted mechanic, some athletic middle-aged short Ijebu boy. It's too late to call but there isn't any other option, she said to herself. She picked up her phone and dialled Marouf, he picked up at the fourth ring after the third try to call his phone, horrible network on the bridge.
'Aunty Eno', Marouf said. The background music was almost deafening, seemed like Marouf was at a party.
'Marouf, the car don spoil for third mainland bridge o' She said without any atom of 'poshness' in her which she really did
'Ohooooo Aunty! I dey party for Obalende, I dey enjoy myself' He said
'Come jo! You know say I be woman, before all these area boys go come' Eno tried to threaten him
'Wetin I go tell awon aye wey we dey together, Aunty ? ' Marouf asked with an hysterical laugh
'Come jo! I dey that side after that Yaba turn! Do quick jo' Eno said
'If dem rob or r»pe me, na you I go use Police catch o' Eno continued.
'I don dey come, Aunty Eno'
She cut the phone, anticipating the arrival of Marouf that seemed to take forever. She looked around, making sure that all her doors are locked tight and none of the windows are down.
Her mind drifted back to the dance with Bode, her friend's colleague, that boy can grind someone into orgasm was her thought when she saw the light of a danfo bus parking behind her from the inner mirror, Some guy in a tight-fitting outfit came out and the bus disappeared.
The guy came close to her window and knocked, she looked up scared only to find out that it was Marouf standing there. She seemed very happy to see him, she came out and almost hugged him.
'You be yeye" Eno said to Marouf  jokingly 'You come tey like that, for say armed robbers don come rob me nko' She continued.
'Aunty nothing go happen jo, Police dey for there na' Marouf replied pointing down the bridge.
Marouf seem fitter today, although artisan are almost as ripped as sports people, she thought, it must be his body hug shirt.
'Aunty, open the bonnet' Marouf said moving towards the front of the car.
'I don open am since' Eno replied
Marouf opened the bonnet and fiddled around the battery head, asked her to try to start it again, she did and the engine roared back to live.
She screamed out of excitement and ran towards Marouf, giving him a full body hug and in return Marouf grabbed a decent chunk of her a$$, she ignored like she dint know what he did.
'Wetin happen na, wetin do the car, wetin you touch?' Eno had 1001 questions for Marouf except for the a$$ grab which she felt ticklish and kind of liked.
'Na the battery head dey shake, e be like when you dey enter gallop na him e comot' Marouf tried to explain.
She moved beside him to see where he was pointing, as she looked downward, the full light of the car shone bright against Marouf's inner thighs, and it kinda seemed like he had a big cucumber in his pocket.
She screamed Jesus at the sight but Marouf thought she was talking about the battery head not been tight enough. He promised to help her to do it well next day,
'You go follow me reach Magodo abi' Eno asked Marouf.
'I go drop for road, make I go meet my wife for Mowe' Marouf replied
'Morning don reach, na after 1 we dey now, sleep for my parlour, tomorrow morning you go comot' Enoh offered.
'Aunty! No! I need to see Iya Bose this night o, wetin dey my body no good o' Marouf joked
'You go hold am reach tomorrow na' Enoh replied.
'Come drive, make we dey go my house abeg, I no dey talk, I wan sleep' Enoh said.
Marouf zoomed off, as they sped the rest of the way to Magodo, Eno's house.
Eno opened the door, went straight into her bedroom leaving Marouf in the living room. She took a while, to take off the dress, yank off her everything, go in for a small bath, the hot water couldn't wash away the grind from her body, the body still wanted to feel more, riding a hard d¡ck wouldn't be a bad idea. Something hard and long that can make her cum as many times as possible, that would crown the night decently.
She came out of the bathroom, put on a jalabia with absolutely nothing underneath, her n¡pples rubbing softly against the material of the gown, her p~$$y feeling slightly wet, she couldn't shake off the horniness.
As she entered the living room to give Marouf a pillow and soft material to cover himself with, she found him boxer alone, snoring away on her couch, with the boxer not able to adequately house his dick, the tip of the d¡ck peeping out of the short, looking closely the d¡ck seem to be semi-erect.
She sat opposite him, pulled up the flowing garment up to her belly, spread her leg wide, rubbing her p~$y softly, as she looked at the d¡ck, imagining riding it, mast~rb»ting at the sight of Marouf's large dick. She separated the p~$$y with 2 fingers, put saliva on her fingers and rubbed it over cl¡toris, gently, the feeling was it, she took a long breathe as the sweet feeling invaded her brain, she went a bit further, head backwards, 2 fingers into her own pussy, probing deep but not deep enough to satisfy her urge, no need for a dildo since a live one was here.
Marouf was still asleep, snoring like no man's business, his d¡ck seem to get bigger and bigger, he was probably having a wet dream. She mustered enough courage, knelt infront of him, caressed the d¡ck softly brushing her hand against the tip of the d¡ck, like someone pampering a dog, marvelling at the share size of his manh••d.
She held it around the centre, tried to make it stand straight, the boxer kept interrupting the movement, she laid it back and dragged the top of the short down to free the dick. She had a feeling Marouf was awake now but he was enjoying it way too much, so she continued.
The p~$$y rub got her thoroughly wet, she squatted infront of his thigh, holding the d¡ck at its base, as she lowered her p~$y into the d¡ck, looked like the penetration took forever, as the dick found its way into the inner trenches of her pussy, she continued to take deep breathes until she felt the dick hit that spot, then she let go.
The thrust started slowly, as p~$$y was trying to get used to this monstrosity in Marouf's inner thighs. Marouf stretched his leg further, as she continued to pick up pace, slowly moans began to escape from Eno's mouth. Marouf opened his eyes, to see Enoh riding his d¡ck not so conveniently while her eyes were almost shut, he adjusted a bit as he bent forward a bit have a feel for those b••bs that always stared back at him in her famous open chested tops.
He adjusted and she stood up, and slept on the soft rug, held out his hands, she straddled him in the middle, with more space to play with, as she settled in comfortably on the d¡ck, he pushed up the garment, Eno took it off completely. Finally staring at him is the evenly toned big b••bs with cute n!pples. He covered his hand with her b••bs as she shifted back and forth on the d¡ck, the feeling for her was to die for at the present minute.
The brushing of her knees against the rug will definitely cause a burn on her knee but that's a discussion for another day, Marouf's d¡ck was making more sense this instant. Feeling like he wasn't getting any of the action, held her waist up with his big strong hands, hitting it from underneath her.
She was very impressed with the athleticism he was displaying, his waist continued pumping up into her pussy, the big d¡ck is awesome once you get used to it, she told herself.
He made her get up, kneel down with her a$$ facing him, her chest on the soft cushion of her couch. He began to pummel into her from behind, it was like a machine, the sweat started pouring in, the excitement, doubled, tripled, the d¡ck was hitting more than the right spot, she kept cumming.
She began wailing, laughing and screaming, all three in no particular order, tears streaming down her face. The d¡ck was fucking on point,
'Baby! Don't stop'
She can't remember when the mechanic Marouf became baby but it was definitely the good d¡ck in effect.
'F~ck that p~$$y like you own it'
Eno was on another level, the d¡ck was making her speak in different kinds of tongue, Marouf was a lot stronger, he kept pummelling her with strength, zeal and vigour, consistent hard strokes, pinning her down by the hips.
Marouf was punishing her for all those times she gave him hard-ons when she came to service her car. His grunt as he was about to c~m was something from Animal Planet station, he pushed it in the longest it could go, dumped a load of semen into her, she screamed as he screamed because that last thrust seemed like she got a small tear from that.
He collapsed onto the rug, completely drenched with her body fluid all over his d¡ck, she clinged unto him, plugged his d¡ck into her p~$$y, sleeping off in the process. Tomorrow, she will worry about why she f~cked her mechanic, when the mechanic became baby and most importantly, if she will be having a child for her mechanic.
All she wants right now is the d¡ck inside her p~$$y.

Omotola Speaks On Her Husband, Family And Other Men In Her Live

Add BBN on 2BAFB965
Nollywood screen diva, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, is one actress who has continued to up her game. The entertainer who recently raised her voice to fight poverty alongside the likes of Waje and Yemi Alade for the 'One campaign'   reveals why she is yet to produce her own movie, if she would allow her daughter venture into entertainment, and how she has stayed off scandals, among other issues...

A lot of actors who started acting the same time you did have delved into movie productions, but we are yet to see you do that. Is it deliberate?
I am not much of a producer though everybody wants me to produce my own movie. I have that pressure on me. As funny as it sounds, I really do not enjoy production. I love directing somebody else's movie, but I wouldn't want to produce a movie right now. I am not interested in producing any movie that I will be in. I just want to be an actress. I am waiting for good scripts .
Have you directed any movie?
I have directed a soap opera. Funke Akindele acted in it alongside Larry Goldsweat.
What has been happening to your Reality TV show?
`Omotota, The real me Season 2' has been ready for a while. Funny enough, I have been stalling on signing it. I just feel like the time isn't right. It's very intrusive. I'm a private person, though a lot of people won't believe it. I work when I need to work and go home when I need to get back into my home. The Season One was very interesting though it was hard on me.
I have teenage children now so I have to be very careful. I have to think about them first and see how it affects them because I don't want my kids to get carried away by all of that. It might come back because there is a lot of pressure on me, but I just want it to be at my own time and when I am comfortable.
Your daughter is now a brand ambassador, is it your way of launching her into the entertainment world?
Not really. It just happened. She is just a natural fit. They wanted a mother-daughter campaign anyway and so the whole challenge was, – will she be up to it? She was interviewed and they actually fell in love with her more than me. She almost took my job. Luckily for me, it had to be a mother-daughter campaign.
How would you react if she decides to be an entertainer?
Absolutely, she can come into the industry. What our generation is doing by God's grace is to make sure that we work hard to leave infrastructure for them. I don't want my daughter to meet the industry the way I met it. Luckily, we have been able to take some steps, we are working very hard. As you know, I am building my film village.
The whole idea is for them to have some sort of organization. The industry has been disorganized for a very long time. Right now, it's okay for her to come into the industry, but she will be monitored. I can only do what I can, in my own way to stabilize the industry. Somebody asked me: `What will happen to daughters of individuals who have been abused in the entertainment industry?' All I can say is that it's either you stay away or you stick to what you believe in. You have a right to say no! I will not do that. Don't be intimidated by anybody, believe in yourself and stay away from anything that you are not proud of and hang in there.
You have a young girl who is eighteen and probably dating, that means if she gets married early, you are going to be a young grandmother. Have you ever thought about it?
I don't care much about it. It's not something I think about. It's not my cup of tea. I know people want me to think about that because I got married early. What I always say to people is all fingers are not equal. The fact that I got married early doesn't mean   my daughter   must get married early. My mother didn't get married early. It doesn't have to be hereditary.
If I like the guy and we feel like she is mature enough to handle it and the person is responsible, then why not? We can endorse it. I don't regret anything. Everything is a blessing to me. I won't stop her, but it just has to be the right person. I married the right person.
Are there other talents you have that we are yet to see?
I don't think I have a lot of talents. Some people actually say sometimes I can be a comedian, but my comedy is not a very creative one. My comedy   is actually like the kind of comedy you don't expect. I don't know how to explain it,but it's just like that. I used to dance.
I don't know how I became suddenly stiff, that is the result of feeling like a big girl. I just stopped dancing. I used to be  known in school for dancing. I also write, I am a very good writer. I write all my songs and I write for other people whose names I don't want to mention.
Talking about music, when are we going to see your next body of works?
My second album is actually not out but a lot of people think it is. It's not out but you can get it on Konga. It's going to be out very soon by God's grace. I have been saying that since 2010.
What is the title?
Me, myself and I
Is your son going to produce any of your songs?
He has actually produced a few of them. We haven't released any.
How was it like working with him?
That boy is very strict. It just felt weird because I am a control freak so sometimes when he is getting too hard on me I tell him: "No! I am the mummy here".We just work it out somehow. I guess that is why the songs are not yet done.
Why did you decide to be part of One Campaign?
I am fortunate to be a young woman living her dreams, a trailblazer of my generation. I also recognize that many women and girls are not so fortunate, women and girls are disproportionately affected by the injustice of poverty and inequality. When we invest in women and girls,we increase and accelerate their chances of overcoming extreme poverty.
That is why I have joined the One Campaign: Poverty is Sexist Campaign. I call on the public to help join hands to sign the petition.
Recently you were misunderstood about the trek comments you made on social media that people are trekking their lives away. Was that what you actually meant?
Really, I am not against any kind of sport. It is okay if you want to do anything. My point is, it's either you do it for nothing and say "I am having fun" or you do it for something reasonable.
Don't just do it for something that pisses people off. People ask if it is my business. It is my business because we are glorifying these people that are hurting us. If for example, I say I am trekking to celebrate a Boko Haram member, everyone will pounce on me. Why should I celebrate that?
Recently, people were angry because Time Magazine said the Boko Haram leader is one of the most influential people, but they forgot that they are talking about influence and not that he is being celebrated.
I was shocked that people didn't understand what I was trying to say. What I meant was that, at this point in time when we are going through so much and we are trying to let these people know we are suffering, putting all our energies into making them feel like kings is not cool. The truth of the matter is that you are probably trekking because you don't have fuel anyway.
What are your thoughts on friendship?
Most of my friends are friends I have had forever. I am a very loyal person. I try to keep a very small group of friends. It is not that I don't make new friends, but I call them acquaintances. When you say friends, they are people I have known for a long time, since I was a child.
Do you have friends in the movie industry?
Everybody is my colleague. I don't have very close friends in the industry.
Why?
We don't live around each other to start with, I live very far away from so many people. Secondly,I am not too much of a party person. We probably won't see often. I am also not very good at visiting people so we probably won't have that kind of bond.
Talking about where you live, do you have plans to move to Lekki?
Not really, I like where I live. I love the way I live.
How do you live?
I come out, I do my work. I go back into my wonderful mansion and rest.
Do you still do the cooking in the house?
I do. I actually cooked before coming here.
Do you act as a diva at home?
I try to be, but they knock me back into shape.
When you aren't busy, how do you get away?
Get away? I wish I could. There is always work to be done. Like they say, if you enjoy what you do, you will never work. For me, I think that is where my stubbornness comes from. I don't do anything I don't want to do. I don't do what I don't enjoy or what I feel I won't like.
I am passionate about whatever I do. Whether it's taking care of my kids, my husband, my home or working with Knorr or with One Campaign.
You look beautiful after four kids, what do you do to maintain your looks?
People's mouth keeps me in shape. I use everything as motivation. More realistically,I will say prayer. It sounds very weird, but that is the truth. Everybody knows I don't diet, I can't diet to save my life. I love food. I am a foodie. I don't eat all the time, but whenever I eat, I don't joke with it. It has to be prayers because that is the only thing I do really.
People sometimes mistake your being confident for being arrogant, how do you deal with that?
I can't deal with it. I can't help people's mistakes.
What is that one thing nobody knows about you?
I think a lot of people don't know that I am emotional. I am very strong and a lot of people think that nothing gets to me but I'm very emotional. I actually cry a lot. I cry for silly things. I might be watching a movie and just burst into tears.
Do you watch your movies?
I hardly do, I don't want to say I never do because obviously I have seen some of them. But I won't intentionally watch my movie.
Do you still have a role you are looking forward to interpret?
Maybe the role of a super hero in a movie.
Whose advice has been instrumental to where you are today?
The only advice I really take is the advice from the Bible. It sounds very weird but that's the truth. It's the only thing I go by. If it is not in the bible, I won't do it. I also take my own advice. My mum has also influenced me a lot.
How would you define success?
You can't define success in one sentence. A lot of people have tried to do that. Success is relative. What is success to you might not be success to me. But I think generally, it's a state of peace of mind. A state of acceptance and a state of joy. Joy is different from happiness you know.
How have you been able to stay off scandals?
I am lucky that I am well trained by God, period! I don't try,I am who I am. Some things that are scandalous just don't impress me or I am not impressed by them. Having said that, I try not to do something that will seem like I'm leading someone on. I just try to put my brain to use. There are so many things you can avert.
Do you think if you hadn't gotten married early you would have been married now?
I don't think so, because I don't think there is any man that can handle me apart from my husband. Not because I am a bad person, it is because I am a very strong personality. I can understand why a lot of female artistes find it very difficult to find the right person.
When you achieve some kind of success, you become really confused as to who really loves you for who you are. It's not really easy, it is very hard finding those people who really love you. If you are not a very grounded person, you can also contribute in some kind of way to your own problems and so I might have contributed to my own problems.
Is it your decision to remain married?
I am blessed, it's a decision. It is a very intentional decision, but it's not at the expense of anything. It's because it's natural. I am happy.
What is your most expensive fashion item?
I don't know and I don't really care. I lost some expensive jewelries and my friends were freaking out. I don't value those things, what I value is different.

President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed the former Governor of Abia State and National Chairman of the defunct All Nigeria Peoples Party, Dr. CHRISTOHPER OGBONNAYA ONU the Secretary to Government of the Federation.
Dr. ONU is a distinguished and brilliant scholar academic and engineer before his foray into politics.
He was born on December 1st 1951 in Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State of Nigeria.
He made a First Class Degree in Chemical Engineering in the University of Lagos before travelled to the United Kingdom for his post graduate studies in the prestigious University of California Berkley United States of America that culminated in the award to him of a doctorate in Chemical Engineering.
The University of California, Berkley is one of the IVY leagues Universities in the United States. It is reputed to be the home of the American Revolution.
He made a Division in his School Certificate examination that he wrote in Izzi Boys High School, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.   He is also alumnus of Mary Knoll College, Okuku, Ogoja, Cross River State.
He is a fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Science; the most prestigious professional association of country.
He lectured in the University of Port Harcourt, Department of Chemical Engineering for many years.
He is the first democratically elected Governor of old Abia State from February 1992 to November 1993 under the platform of the defunct National Republican Convention (NRC). He was Chairman of the Governors Forum from 19992-1993.
The NRC was one of the two political parties decreed by the then Federal Military Government of General Babangida's political transition from military to civil democratic Rule in the early 1990s
But his four years term was cut short when General Sani Abacha on the 20th November 1993 toppled the National Interim Government set up by General Babangida after he annulled the 12th June 1993 presidential election widely believed to have been won by Chief MKO Abiola.
A rugged, consistent and determined opposition leader he joined the All Peoples Party (later ANPP) after the ban on political activities were lifted in 1998 on the death of General Abacha and the taking over the reins of government by General Abdul Salam Abubukar who initiated a political transition from military to civil democratic rule in the country.
He emerged as the first presidential candidate of the APP but never contested the 1999 presidential election because the APP went into a political alliance with the Alliance for Democracy and he had to step down for the Alliance for Democracy presidential candidate, Chief Olu Falae.
Again in 2003 was a strong presidential aspirant under the platform of the Party for the nomination of its presidential candidate for the 2003 presidential election.
He later became the National Chairman of the defunct ANPP at most trying period of the party when consistent poaching by the PDP of its leading members and internal wrangling has progressively reduced the party from its previous status as the biggest opposition party in the country to a shadow of its former self.
However through adroit administrative management of the party, Dr. Onu was able to stem the gradually drifting and decimation of the party until its merger with the defunct CAN; CPC and factions of APGA and DPP to form the All Progressives Congress in 2013.
After the registration of APC by the Independent National Electoral Commission,  Dr. Onu was among the senior leaders of the APC that were co-opted into its Interim National Executive Committee that managed the party from July 2013 to 11th June 2014 when a substantive National Executive Committee was elected.
Dr. Onu was appointed the Chairman of the APC presidential Screening Committee that screened the presidential aspirants that contested for the nomination of the presidential candidate of the Party for the 2015 presidential election.
He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Party.

Arsenal Win 12th FA Cup After Second Consecutive Trophy

Arsenal retained the FA Cup as they proved to be far too strong for Aston Villa at Wembley.
Theo Walcott opened the scoring with a powerful finish before Alexis Sanchez doubled the lead with a stunning strike from distance early in the second period.
Per Mertesacker made the game safe with a header soon after before substitute Olivier Giroud added a late fourth as the Gunners
became the most successful side in the competition's history with 12 wins.
Perhaps wary of repeating last season's disastrous start against Hull City, which saw them go two goals behind, Arsene Wenger's
side began on the front foot in a frenetic opening 10 minutes and gradually cranked up the pressure on Shay Given's goal with a
series of corners and set-pieces.
There is no doubt Wenger's men merited writing themselves into English football history as former Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood was denied a piece of silverware to end what has
nonetheless been an impressive introduction to life at Villa.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has informed senator-elect, Buruji Kashamu, that the effort to extradite him to the United States to face criminal charges, is not over.
On Saturday, May 23, 2015, the NDLEA operatives had besieged Kasamu's home in Lekki area of Lagos, and placed Kashamu under house arrest.
The agency would however, vacate the premises when it officially received a copy of the order from the court on Thursday May 28, 2015.
A statement signed by NDLEA spokesperson, Mitchell Ofoyeju, said, "This is not the end of the case as the NDLEA has filed a formal extradition process at the Federal High Court. The agency is following the due process of law and will ensure that national interest is balanced against the constitutional rights of Mr. Kashamu.
"The mission of the NDLEA is not and has never been to abduct him, but to engage the extradition process. The agency is taking necessary steps to ensure that Mr. Kashamu is available to stand trial as required by law.
"To this end, the NDLEA has a provisional warrant of arrest on him as well as a formal request for his extradition. The honourable thing for him to do is to submit to the due process of the law as pledged.
"The NDLEA wishes to reiterate that it will comply with all court orders and not forcefully abduct and take him to the United States for trial."
The NDLEA said the court had not prevented it from embarking on an extradition process against Kashamu.

A suicide bomber on Saturday carried out an evil act in Maiduguri, Borno State capital, leaving 26 dead  and  28 critically injured, security sources assisting in the  evacuation of victims said.
The incident took place at about 3:45pm when Muslim faithful gathered  to perform their afternoon  prayer.
Unconfirmed sources, however,  revealed that apart from the mosque explosion, another  blast  rocked some area of the Monday Market with  fewer casualty figure.
The incidents came barely 12 hours after Boko Haram gunmen were repelled by the military in Maiduguri, which also claimed many lives.
The mosque explosion, according to Modu Fugu of Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), occurred when the prayer session was about to commence  with over five dozens of people in attendance.
"We were  terrified by the loud explosion that rocked the  mosque near bicycle sellers market and other shops when the prayer session was cut  and worshippers fled to  safety. But many were killed and scores injured", Fugu stated.
Borno State Police Command  confirmed the mosque blast, but said  it was  yet to get the casualty figure. The Red Cross and volunteers were reportedly involved in the rescue operation.
In another incident, yesterday,  15 residents were reportedly dead when suspected members of Boko Haram, in a convoy of vehicles and motorcycles laden with Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), rocket grenades and anti-aircraft guns attacked Malari village in Borno State. 19 others in Bulunkutu Saleke, Gomari and Ajilari areas of the state were said to have been wounded.
The killings, according to Ibrahim Yakubu of Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), were caused by the  insurgents' sporadic gunshots, explosions and shelling on the  four villages that commenced from 12.35 – 2.45 a.m.
Confirming the incident in Maiduguri, a source at Borno Police Command said many residents of Gomari, Bulunkutu Saleke and  Ajilari were killed during the attacks.

President Buhari Wants You To Bear With His Administration..."a lot of damage has been done"

President Muhammadu Buhari has appealed to Nigerians to bear with his administration as he and Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo begin the work of reconstructing the country.‎
He said the appeal was necessary because of the collateral damage that had been done to the system before they came on board.
Buhari made the appeal in his remarks on Friday at the inauguration gala night held inside the old Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The event took place a few hours after he and Osinbajo took their oaths of office and oaths of allegiance before a mammoth crowd at the Eagle Square, Abuja where he promised to be the President of all.
"I ask Nigerians to please bear with us; a lot of damage has been done. You can look at our infrastructure in 1999 and now and you will appreciate this," he said.
Buhari also regretted the high rate of unemployment among youths who he said represented about 60 per cent of the country's population.
He said the nation was sitting on a keg of gun powder with that kind of unpleasant situation.
He said his administration would focus on agriculture and mining to engage some of the unemployed youth.
He also asked Nigerians to pray for the country more than they are currently doing.
"Nigeria prays a lot; we need to even pray the more for luck so that the expectations our people have, especially the youth, would be met," he said.
He promised to seek the supports of Europe, America and Nigeria's neighbours in tackling the unemployment and security problems confronting the country.
On security, Buhari said his administration would work hard to secure Nigeria.
He said the backlash in neighbouring countries if Nigeria had a crisis would be monumental.
He added, "Nigeria has to be well secured and efficiently managed; this is what the APC is all about.
"This was why the legacy parties made the sacrifice of jettisoning their personal ambitions, tried to come together and took the bull by the horn and therefore brought it down and slaughtered it literally.''
He said the party in power had realised its problems and made the sacrifice.
He added that his administration would articulate the nation's requirements after studying the handover notes from the past administration, and then consult neighbouring countries, Europe and US to help the nation.

Why today and President Buhari made me cry -Chude Jideonwo

No comments :

Add BBN on 2BAFB965
This morning, my team member, Oluwatobi Soyombo and I sat in the office, and discharged our final responsibility to the Buhari Campaign Organisation – we changed the bio of the Muhammadu Buhari account across Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and everywhere else to 'President of Nigeria'.
I asked Tobi for the privilege to do this myself, with my own hands.
Then, as he looked at me, shocked, the tears began to follow.
After sending out the tweet for the new president of Nigeria (personal tweets from him are signed –MB), I took to my own private account and shared: '@MBuhari better not disappoint us. This is too important. This is too important'.
My team and I were offered the job to handle the communication for the Buhari campaign in November 2014. I couldn't believe it. We had never been close to the All Progressives Congress; I had never even met Buhari. Even the 'closer' Tinubu, I have not met since that time in 2002 when I served him tea as a production assistant at the Nigerian Television Authority.
I had a few weeks before declined a meet to discuss youth communication for the Goodluck Jonathan campaign because I no longer had any faith in his leadership, but I was almost certain he was going to win anyway.
In May 2014, I had arrived Abuja to speak at a #BringBackOurGirls event. But I had hardly left the airport, when someone high up in the government called me: "If I see you up on that stage with Oby (Ezekwesili), you are finished in this country."
So, I wondered, was it wise to finally set up enmity with the government for the next four years by working directly for its opposition?
All through the time my co-founder, Adebola Williams worked hard with the team of Uche Nnaji (OUCH) and Kelechi Amadi-Obi to shoot the photographs that redefined Buhari's image, all through the period the team was assembled from Tobi to Alex Yangs to Kathleen Ndongmo, I couldn't move. I was transfixed in fear, in hope that dared not speak. Could Nigerians actually unseat a seating President from the People's Democratic Party?
I wondered if the rage I felt was worth the sacrifice I was about to make – putting my life, my relationships and my business on the line in a country where the biggest advise our richest man has given entepreneurs is 'never fight with the government of the day'?
All of that is history now. What looked like a mirage then has become reality. The job became a mission. After four months of the most emotional campaign in my lifetime, sleepless nights at the StateCraft Inc headquarters, from the campaign office in Abuja, supervising the setting up of billboards, fighting TV stations that didn't want to air our 'Is This Transformation?' promos, Adebola following the candidate around the country, and rewriting speeches in the dead of the night because the candidate knew exactly what he wanted to say, we are here now. Nigerians have unseated a 16-year monopoly.
So, this morning, I shared a story on my Instagram page that I haven't spoken about in public before.
In 2013, six of us friends including Adebola Williams, 'Yemi Adamolekun, 'Gbenga Sesan and Kola Oyeneyin came together and decided that, beyond mobilising citizens, leading protests and using the media to drive conversation, Nigeria needed our passionate, sustained prayers. A year before, after our active involvement with #OccupyNigeria, and the events after, we were beyond disillusioned.
And so, every Saturday morning, we went from the houses and offices of one to the other and we would cry, and we would scream, and we would pray for country. Ah, we prayed. Nigeria's future looked so bleak. It looked so dark, didn't see any logical pathway to change. So we went to God with our hearts, we went to him with our disappointment; we went to him with our pain. We asked him, "What should we do? How should we do it?"
One day, as we prayed, in an office on the Lagos Island, I was so overwhelmed with despair I fell down on the floor and began to speak in frenzied tongues, tears streaming from my face, banging furiously on the cabinet in front me. My heart was desperate; just desperate for something to give way.
I didn't know my friend, Kola, had the gift to interprete tongues. But then he began to interpret what I was saying. And it frightened me, because he was absolutely right. He captured the fears in my heart, and the requests I was making. He said, paraphrased, 'God says He will change Nigeria. It looks like it won't happen, but He will do a new thing and it will spring forth. We won't understand how He will do it, but He will."
Two years later, God has kept his promise.
I do not know what the future holds. I cannot even say with certainty that this new dispensation will fulfil the promises it made to us when it called us on board and to you when it asked you to vote.
But I know one thing: I spent the past four years giving the Jonathan government the benefit of the doubt, willing it to succeed. Yet each time it failed, I was on the street, passionately denouncing it. And when, finally, after the Chibok girls went missing, I lost hope in it, I put everything on the line to join Nigerians in punishing it
Things have changed.
I have invested faith that Buhari will be different, not just because he is a new president today, but because I have been priviledged to sit in the same space with him, I have listened very carefully to his wisdom and his depth. I have counted the cost and I have overwhelmed faith that he is the leader we need.
But we, and he thankfully, know this: he cannot play with our future. He cannot play with the future of our children.
We have cried for this nation, because it has failed us too many times. We have worked our fingers to the bones, and our 'bloods' have boiled because we believe in its potential. Therefore, our tempers will be short, our forgiveness will be costly, our reactions to real and perceived failures will be swift.
Our hearts our broken, our spirits burdened. We desperately need the promised change, and we need it to start immediately.
Nigeria has suffered enough.

Immediate past President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan has disclosed that he wouldn't have attained high political offices but for the help of former Bayelsa Governor, Diepreye Alamieyeseigha.
Jonathan made this known during a special thanksgiving service in his honour at the St. Peters Anglican Church, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
He said, "I will not forget to thank Chief Diepreye Alamieyeseigha. Without him, I would not have been talking about being a former president.
"At a time I was not thinking about being a commissioner in the state, he came to me and said I should run with him. That is why I am here today. So, without him, it would not have been possible to hear about Jonathan.''
Jonathan added that Alamieyeseigha came to him to run with him as deputy-governor of Bayelsa at a time he was not thinking about being a commissioner.
"I appreciate all who make this reception a reality. My wife and I appreciate Governor Seriake Dickson, his wife, Rachael, and the people of Bayelsa State for organising this reception. Also, I appreciate our good friend, the new Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, who came with the Acting National Chairman of our great party, Uche Secondus, and my brothers and sisters from Rivers.
"Let me also thank a leader and friend, the President of Christian Association of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor as well as many Christian brothers and sisters who have been praying for me, most of them I have not seen in my life. They cut across the country. Most of them never expected a bottle of coke from me because they know I will never see them, I thank all of you.
"But as you know, some people will offer prayer for you and send text message to tell you they are praying for you. They expect you to know that they are praying for you. But people who do not even want me to know they are praying for me are the people I think God really wants. I really thank them. For the Christian family, I thank all of you for your support."
Jonathan also thanked the Chairman of Bayelsa State Council of Traditional Rulers, King Alfred Diete-Spiff and royal fathers in the state for supporting him.
"When I was the deputy governor, I supervised the council and they all saw me as their younger brother and they have related wonderfully well with me," he stated.
The former President came to the venue in company with his wife, Patience.
The event was attended by Dickson, his wife, Rachel, Wike, a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Anyim Pius Ayim and Senator Emmanuel Paulker.
Others were former Governor of Adamawa State Boni Haruna, King Diete-Spiff, Bayelsa House of Assembly Speaker, Kombowei Benson, Secretary to State Government, Prof. Edmund Allison-Oguru and a host of his former ministers and aides.
The CAN President, Oritsejafor and Rev. Uma Ukpai, were also part of the attendees.
The church was carnival-like as its choir rendered many wonderful songs. Even the Boys' Brigade of the church was not left out as the group thrilled the congregation with a lot of musical renditions.
Niger Delta women, dressed in colourful attire as well as some women led by Onyeka Onwuenu added glamour to the event.
In his remarks, Dickson described Jonathan as the hero of Nigeria's democracy.
Dickson, who also described Jonathan as a true statesman, said he had entered the league of national and international statesmen.
In his short exhortation, Ukpai urged Nigerians to dedicate themselves to God, saying God is the circle of people's lives.
He described Jonathan as a humble man, adding that only humble people know how to thank God for what He has done for them.

Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State on Friday created three offices to project his development plan for the state at his inauguration.‎
The governor, while giving his speech at the Tafawa Balewa Square, announced the creation of the Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment, Office of Overseas Affairs and Investment and Office of Civic Engagement.
The governor said the initiative was in line with his campaign promises and would enable him to execute his planned employment trust fund, labour exchange and entrepreneurship drive for Lagos residents.
He said the offices were to strengthen and enhance their promise on government of inclusion and promote international investment in the state.
Ambode thanked God, through the good people of Lagos, to have been born on June 14, 1963 and become the 14th governor of Lagos State.
He said, "The best practices of yesterday might not be good enough for the products of today. I am determined to demonstrate that the government belongs to the citizens. You have put us here as servants to serve you and not you serving us. Today we are committed to that creed."
Ambode said he would reform the civil service to be more proactive and be able to respond to the needs of the citizens.

Fashola Is A Big Failure -PDP Insists

No comments :

Add BBN on 2BAFB965
The Peoples Democratic Party has described the performance of former Governor of Lagos, Babatunde Fashola, as dismal.‎
The Lagos chapter of the party on Friday alleged that the administration of Fashola was largely based on propaganda.
But in a swift reaction, Fashola's Special Adviser on Media, Mr. Hakeem Bello, described the party's statement as amusing.
The PDP, however, admonished his successor, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, to govern the state with the fear of God in order to move the state out of its "make-belief" situation.
In a statement issued by its Publicity Secretary, Mr. Taofik Gani, the party stated that it did not expect Ambode to act differently in terms of running his administration based on propaganda.
Gani said, "While we hope the best for Lagos State, it is our objective projection that Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode may not depart from the propagandist government now institutionalised in the state by Governor Fashola."
The PDP said Ambode should avoid the entrapment of 'godfatherism' for the Lagos State to prosper.
The statement said, "It is, however, our wish that the state prospers and so we admonish Ambode to get close to God and jettison 'godfatherism' in order to make any appreciable success. By upholding this tenet, Mr. Ambode will implement policies for the people and not continue in the manner that (suggests) the state economy is in the hands of a godfather.
"With monthly internally generated revenue of at least N27bn, no governor should fail in Lagos state. But former Governor Fashola left office leaving the state with the highest local and international debt profile in the federation. The former governor failed because of his over-dependence on a godfather and his own self-believe."
According to the Lagos PDP, there are many projects and policies abandoned by the Fashola administration.
"Such include, lack of affordable low-cost housing, balkanised civil service with no minimum wage, unresolved Lagos State University crisis, economic and human rights violations. Others are shortage of road networks, hostile business environment, inability to bring down cost of living in the state, poor primary and secondary education standard, to mention a few," the statement added.
The party expressed confidence that through the ongoing governorship tribunal, its candidate, Mr. Jimi Agbaje, might be declared the winner of the April 11, 2015 poll.
In a text message sent to our correspondent in response to PDP's assessment of Fashola's tenure, Bello said, "It's ironic that the PDP, a party that failed woefully at the national level could issue such a statement."
Also responding through a text message, the Lagos All Progressives Congress Publicity Secretary, Mr. Joe Igbokwe, said that the party should not be taken seriously.
"Are you still listening to that dead party? Please stop wasting your precious gift of time on this totally irredeemable party that destroyed Nigeria. Did PDP in Abuja accomplish half of what Fashola accomplished in Lagos given the resources at their disposal? PDP Lagos should shut up forever in Nigeria. They gang- raped Nigeria for 16 years and posterity will never forgive them," Igbokwe said.

The Kaduna state Governor Mallam Nasir El-Rufai during his inaugural speech after he was sworn announces the decision that he and his deputy Barnabas Bala will be slashing their salaries by 50 percent because of Nigeria's dropping economy.
The former minister also disclosed that his government would be a transparent government where all activities would be properly accounted for.
In his words, he said,
"In recognition of the difficult challenges we face, our deputy governor and I have concluded that the sacrifices that change requires must begin with us. We have decided to take a pay cut and donate 50 percent of our salaries and allowances until our fiscal situation improves.
"We understand that leadership by example is the most persuasive way to demand sacrifices from all of us as citizens.
"We will obey the same rules that we demand of all of you. After all, the law is the difference between civilization and anarchy. We submit ourselves to the principle that all are equal before the law."
"As we celebrate on this day that God has made, let us remember, with sober senses, exactly what challenges confront us. For far too long, our country has been a place where hope goes to die, where the future has been stolen from our children, where our leaders have commandeered our resources largely for their own personal enjoyment, and where grinding poverty has become a fact of daily life for nearly all our people."

Two abducted cousins of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Patience Egbeni and Kate Eni, will be missing in action as the former President returns home.
Nine days after their abduction by six gunmen in military uniform, Patience and Eni are still held hostage by their abductors.
It was learnt that the gunmen, after about five days, established contacts with their families and demanded N50m ransom to set them free.
The ex-President's cousins were kidnapped at their stores along the riverbank of Akempli, Ogbia Local Government Area, Bayelsa State.
The bandits were said to have stormed the riverbank of Akempli at about 8.30am on May 20 and seized the women.
The hoodlums forced their victims into a waiting speedboat and took them to an unknown destination.
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, Butswat Asinim, said the victims had not been released.
Asinim, an Assistant Superintendent of Police, said he was not aware of the ransom demand, adding that security agencies were still making efforts to get them freed.
But a youth leader in Ogbia, who declined to give his name, said it took the hoodlums more than four days to establish contacts with their families.
"They called and demanded N50m ransom. The families are still negotiating with the kidnappers," he said.

The Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Mr. Najeem Salaam, has appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to bail out states that are unable to pay their workers' salaries and pensions.‎
The Speaker said this on Friday in a statement issued by his media aide, Mr. Goke Butika, to congratulate the President and his Vice, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo ( SAN).
He said the bailout would allow the masses at the grassroots to feel the impact of the new government.
The Speaker said many states had not been paying their workers regularly due to the drastic reduction in their allocations because of the drop in the oil price, adding that the states needed the Federal Government's assistance to solve the problem.
The statement read, "The fixing of Nigeria should begin with the bailing out of the states that could not pay salaries so that people at the grassroots can have a sigh of relief.
"It will go a long way for the Buhari presidency to have a consultative meeting with all governors and listen to them with a view to developing a road map that would facilitate mutual solutions to the challenges facing the states."
Salaam also urged governors irrespective of their political parties to key into the programmes of the new President.
He expressed satisfaction with Buhari's inaugural speech, noting that the speech touched all spheres of governance and was loaded with hope.

The inauguration of Nasir El-Rufai as governor of Kaduna State ended abruptly on Friday.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that El-Rufai could not review the parade mounted by the police as some youths pelted dignitaries with water sachets, stones and other objects in the pavilion.
This prompted security agents to fire tear gas into the crowd at the Murtala Square, Kaduna.
NAN also reports that the dignitaries in the pavilion included the Emir of Zazzau, Dr. Shehu Idris, and other traditional rulers in the state.
The incident occurred when the new governor had concluded his address and was about to mount an open van to review the parade mounted by the police.
While the crowds were dispersed by the police, dignitaries remained seated, but the occasion ended abruptly without the governor reviewing the parade.
NAN reports that the Murtala Square was filled to capacity.

Joseph Edgar: Jonathan-Yesterday's Man

No comments :

Add BBN on 2BAFB965
Life is forever strange. Jonathan a few minutes ago became the latest yesterday's man. I watched as he arrived for the very last time with the full pomp and pageantry of the Presidency and literally looked dymistified as he shook the hands of his successor, handing over the baton and stymying slyly into the shadows of history.
I watched him closely as he sat. Trying very hard to comport himself and not betraying any emotions knowing fully well that the cameras and indeed the eyes of the whole world would be staring at him. Looking better dressed than the man of the day, his bowler hat perfectly perched on his head with his graying hair, peeping from underneath the bowler hat thanking its stars that it didn't have to come out to share in this perfidy.
What was in his mind as he sat down there, enduring the stares and watching the sycophants as they immediately switched allegiances. Obj was behind him, did he feel like turning back and slapping him? Tinubu was way behind, was that why in his walk around he did not get to that part of the cubicle. What would he have done differently if time was rolled back. Would he have ignored obj, would he have stayed loyal to the buffoons who made a buffoonery of his administration. How come his roll of luck came to such a disgraceful end and why did that his gregarious wife not come and share in this public humiliation.
Where are all the geezers who shared in the rut, where are the ill advisers and much more importantly where are the Nollywood clowns. Who all sang and danced his name to high glory. How will history treat Jonathan, I fear, not with mercy. His was a template of disaster, his was a fine glass of recklessness, a lack of will power to take painful decisions and a cowards hand book on how not to rule a country like NIGERIA..

As I watched, I failed to see the hope Americans saw during Obama's first inauguration. As I watched I saw the result of misplaced faith. We kept faith in luck as if we could control luck. He didn't have shoes, so we voted, he was the ever available replacement, from Deputy Governor to the Presidency we voted. What did we get in return, a failed state, an economy in tatters, missing children, 2m displaced people, no power and in his last days,no fuel.
Jonathan - yesterday's man, lurking in the shadows of failed leaders. He , a statesman he would not be. I saw pity in the eyes of the dignities on the stand. From my couch in my living room, I could almost here the Heads of state whisper in his ears as he walked past- be strong. Yes he needs that advice for the loneliness that would envelope him this night would be so scary that he would need about 46 candles and a heavy dose of prayers from David's Book of Psalms to get him through the night.
He quietly slipped away like a lizard, though the backdrop and most likely into a tiny car far from the grandeur of the posh intimidating car he rode in and into the depth of anonymity where he would have only himself to blame for this loneliness and huge sense of failure.
He threw always greatness and in his simplicity he will go back to the simpleton he as meant to be, if not for the rude interference of fate which threw him unprepared into the national limelight but left him to dance naked surrounded by hippies and a wife worse than an ethnic savage.
I say goodbye to this yesterday's man and wish him well as he joins his fishermen kinsmen in sleepy Otueke from where he emerged to lead us to Golgotha. Sleep well Jona and Gods forgiveness and blessing be with you.
I shed just one tear.

At a grand ceremony at the Tafawa Balewa Square, TBS, Lagos, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode was sworn in today as the 14th Governor of Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria.‎
Ambode was sworn in after his deputy, Dr Oluranti Adebule was sworn in earlier by the Chief Judge of Lagos, Justice Oluwafunmilayo Atilade.
Ambode's inauguration was witnessed by thousands of well wishers, among whom are his predecessor, former Governor Babatunde Fashola and his wife, Abimbola; former Deputy Governor, Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire; former deputy governor, Femi Pedro; former deputy governor of Lagos, Sarah Sosan; Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu; Senator Oluremi Tinubu, and other dignitaries.
Ambode arrived the TBS with his wife to a tumultuous reception around 10:10am. He was decked in white attire with a red cap to match.
In his valedictory speech, Fashola described the today as historic and thanked Lagosians for giving him the privilege to serve the state.
He thanked his wife for standing with him and sacrificing all to hold the home while he served the state.
He urged Lagosians to stand firmly by Ambode as he begins the historic journey of moving Lagos forward to greater heights in the next four years.
At about 11:25am, Adebule was sworn in as deputy governor by the Chief Judge.
Adebule who was decked in gold attire was accompanied to the podium by her husband, Saheed Adebule.
Decked in pure white 'agbada' and red cap to match, Ambode was next to be sworn in as the 14th Governor of Lagos State after taking the oath of allegiance and secrecy.
He was accompanied to the podium by his wife amidst jubilation from the crowd.
He was sworn in by the Chief Judge around 11:36am.
In his inaugural speech, the new governor said his being sworn in was an act of God and he was grateful to all Lagosians.
He said the lessons learnt from the last election was for politicians never to take the people for granted and promised to carry the people along in governance.
Ambode assured that his government would nurture the traditional institution during his administration as they stood by him during the electioneering campaign.
According to the governor, "As we collectively face the challenge to make Lagos a better place to live in, we must recognize our strength in diversity. A common national identity where everybody counts. I shall run an open government of inclusion that will not leave anyone behind. No matter your age, s3x, tribe or any other status, as long as you reside in Lagos, we will make Lagos work for you.
"Lagosians are hardworking people. Lagos is thriving because of its undying entrepreneurial spirit. However we must realise that there are no short-cuts to success. To our youths, we must nurture good family values to succeed in any endeavour. I want our younger ones and children to draw some lessons from my story.
Anyone of you can rise up to be the best you want to be. Your background and circumstances cannot be an obstacle to your dreams. In our country, particularly in Lagos, you can always succeed. This is the Nigerian dream where hard-work, courage, perseverance, persistence, merit and rewards pay."
Ambode urged all to embrace new thinking and be determined to succeed at all times as he was ready to encourage and nurture that dream in the children, youths and every hard-working Lagosian.
" We would reward merit, hard-work and loyalty to the state. The future is for those who dare to dream and find courage to pursue their dreams," he said.
