Was Wizkid Really Robbed In London?

A new video footage just appeared on online claiming Nigerian music star was robbed after spending a night out at a club in London.
With the video unclear and not showing too much, a man with the stature of Wizkid can be seen been mobbed by a lot of people but their intention is unclear. Reports earlier in week suggest the music star was robbed but without proof, the video suggest something like that happened although without any proof still.
After minutes of struggle with unidentified people, Wizkid was finally ushered into a car before he left the scene. Police came through just about that time too.
Wizkid is yet to react to the ordeal.

Modelling

Pageant
Growing up, I developed a passion for modelling and also wanted to be a beauty queen. Last year, I felt the time was right for me to go into pageantry. MBGN was my first choice and I bought the form.
Camp
Life in camp was tough. All the girls wanted to win but only one winner emerged at the end of the day. Even though I did not win, I am happy I emerged MBGN Model of the Year. I was rewarded with a one-year contract with a modelling agency and the opportunity to attend the New York Fashion Week, London Fashion Week and other notable fashion shows in Nigeria.
Family support
My parents did not support my decision to become a model. They believe only badly-behaved children become models. With time, they saw reason with me and approved of my decision to take part in MBGN.
Role models
I admire Tyra Banks. She has achieved so much on and off the runway. I look up to Agbani Darego. We have met before and we compared notes. I also admire Millen Magese and Naomi Campbell.
Pet project
As the MBGN Model of the Year, I do not have a pet project because I am a model.
Fame
When I go to the market to buy things, people point at me. Sometimes, I am not free to do some of the things I want to do because it appears everyone is looking at me. Being famous is an advantage because people know me and it keeps me in check.
Men
Being polite and being a lady comes in handy when dealing with men. Men will always come, but I let them know I am not ready for a relationship.
When I am ready, I pray to get a good man because every lady deserves one. I want someone that is God-fearing and understanding. He has to be good -looking too. He must be comfortable but not extremely wealthy. I want a man that we can build our fortune together.
Nudity
Alek Wek is an African model and she has nude pictures, Naomi Campbell has posed nude several times. I have posed nude before and it is part of my portfolio. My mum did not like it, but I had to explain to her that it was something I needed to do. After all, I am above 18 years old. My nude pictures are part of my portfolio. I am a model and a model is like a mannequin. I would pose nude again if there is need for me to.
Beauty
I work hard to stay slim. In my family, we are chubby. I go to the gym when I am free and I also eat healthy. My statistics are 34, 27, and 36. I am six feet tall. I do not like heavy make-up, except if I have a photo shoot. I make sure I wash my face before I go to bed.
Style
I like to wear dresses that look good on me. I don't like to dress like a tomboy, because I like to look like a lady.
Aspirations
I want to be known on the international scene. I also hope to raise a family.

Alexandra Abolore Adegbola Adigun, known in the music industry as 9ice, is staging a big comeback to the music industry after his brief romance with politics.
The star and his producer, Dtunes, are currently spending night and day at the studio fine-tuning the singles for his new album aptly entitled: The Return of the King.
9ice is a celebrated singer and performer, who becme very popular after his Gongo Aso album of 2008 become a national anthem. Alapomeji, as he is fondly called, has since then released six albums and won six awards.
However, his later works have struggled to meet up with the reception of his Gongo Aso album in the market.
The Gongo Aso crooner's foray into politics after what seemed to be flavourless career was no surprise as the Ogbomosho, Oyo State indigene maintained in an interview that his music never lacked political undertone.
"If you listen to my music, you would notice that politics has been part of me; it's in my blood."
Though Adigun lost the ticket to contest for House of Representative for Ogbomosho North/South and Oriire Federal Constituency, his return to the music industry, his last instrument for passive political participation, is laudable.

According to the police investigation, the two kept their clothes on the first 15 minutes. Then the man persuaded his new girlfriend to take off her clothes.
He also stripped off all his clothes. Her legs were in the air, and the man was on top of her, while children watched. The couple continued having s3x despite the fact the police officers arrived at the scene.
The 20-year-old man was forcefully handcuffed and taken to jail while the 38-year-old woman was given a citation. Police said that the couple didn't know each other's names.

A professional marathon runner from Kenya, is being hailed as a hero after she refused to give up and crawled to the finish line.
Hyvon Ngetich, 29, was leading a group of female runners in Texas, when she began to shut down, making it impossible for her to continue running.
She had about two tenths of a mile to the finish line when she collapsed. Ngetich took a few moments to recover before she proceeded to crawl on all fours until she reached the finish line.
Ngetich was offered a wheelchair by the medical staff. The woman refused as she did not want to be disqualified from the race. After crawling on all fours, she came in third place in the race.
Ngetich has gained much honor from people around the world for her hard work and determination.

Death Wish: Buhari Blasts Fayose, Asks President GEJ To Call Him To Order...Ekiti Gov Responds

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), General Muhammadu Buhari, on Saturday, told President Goodluck Jonathan to call the governor of Ekiti State, Mr Ayo Fayose to order over his persistent falsehood and death wishes for him [Buhari] ahead of the March 28 presidential election.
But Governor Fayose in his reaction, said he was not wishing Buhari dead, noting that he was only concerned about the former military leader's state of health.
According to a press statement from the Directorate of Media and Publicity of the APC Presidential Campaign Organisation (APCPCO), the APC had it on good authority that Governor Fayose had hired people in London, who had been trailing the movements of the APC presidential candidate while on a working visit in London.
The statement signed by Mallam Garba Shehu, read: "Let it be on record that knowing Governor Fayose's antecedents, we are not leaving anything to chances. The governor who has published death-wish advertorials on Buhari will stop at nothing. If anything should happen to General Muhammadu Buhari while in London or anywhere, the authorities over there in the United Kingdom and at home should know who to hold responsible".
But Fayose, in a statement signed by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, said "the governor is only concerned about the state of health of Buhari and the well-being of Nigeria as a nation, since Buhari is one of the major contenders for the presidency."
He said: "The Yar'Adua experience has made Nigerians to be interested in the health status of potential presidents of the country and Buhari, being old, should be transparent in matters relating to his health.
"It is on record that Buhari never spoke for more than five minutes in any of the APC presidential campaign rallies. He has exhibited certain traits by referring to his party as All Progressives Confidence instead of All Progressives Congress, INEC as Independent Nigeria Electoral Commission (INEC) instead of Independent National Electoral Commission, Imo State as Ibo State and his running mate as Osinbade instead of Osinbajo."
The statement further stated: "Most importantly, Buhari was rumoured to have planned to travel abroad for medical treatment in January, this year. The trip was, however, shelved at the last minute and it should raise suspicion for a personality like Buhari to have travelled through the Abuja airport without any of the Aviation journalists interviewing him.
"Buhari's handlers further raised suspicion on Friday, when they published photographs he took in London in 2013 on the Internet, claiming that the pictures were taken on Friday. The APC should come to equity with clean hands and accept the burden of presenting an old and analogue Buhari as its candidate and stop blaming Fayose for exposing to Nigerians what they are covering concerning Buhari's health status."
Meanwhile, the APCPCO also confirmed that General Buhari will honour his speaking engagement at the Royal Institute Of International Affairs, Chatham House in London scheduled for Thursday, February 26, saying that Chatam House will post the event and send out invites on Monday, February 23.
The statement also revealed that as part of his ongoing engagement in the United Kingdom, General Buhari had an interview on Friday with a local medium, the "All Eyes on Africa TV Show" with Kemi Fadojutimi and met with Tony Blair on Saturday, February 21 morning.
Shehu disclosed that Buhari left the London residence of the Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona at about 1.30 p.m. UK time and returned to his rented flat in the city.

Buhari Is No Change, President Jonathan Is A Progressive -Mimiko

The Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Mimiko, has asked Nigerians not to be carried away by the 'change' slogan of the All Progressives Congress, which he described as a hoax.
The governor, however, described President Goodluck Jonathan as a progressive.
Mimiko said this while inaugurating a primary school as part of activities commemorating his 6th anniversary as the governor of the state on Friday in Akure.
He said he was inspired by President Goodluck Jonathan.
Mimiko, in a statement on Friday, said President Jonathan, like Ondo State, had demonstrated that he is a progressive, adding that "building a mega school for the Ondo State government is making an ideological statement."

Mimiko said this while inaugurating a primary school as part of activities commemorating his 6th anniversary as the governor of the state on Friday in Akure.
He said he was inspired by President Goodluck Jonathan.
Mimiko, in a statement on Friday, said President Jonathan, like Ondo State, had demonstrated that he is a progressive, adding that "building a mega school for the Ondo State government is making an ideological statement."

Political activist and National Publicity Secretary of the Yoruba socio-political organisation, Afenifere, Mr. Yinka Odumakin, has revealed why he is now an ardent supporter of President Goodluck Jonathan. In a recent interview, he disclosed that things have changed and circumstances are now different from 2011.

In 2011, you were the spokesperson for Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd) who was then vying for the presidency. He is now contesting same position on the platform of the All Progressives Congress but you are no longer speaking on his behalf. Why did you shift camp?
There are so many shiftings. Gen Buhari himself has shifted. When I worked with him in 2011, he was the presidential candidate of the Congress for Progressive Change. In 2015, he is now with the APC. APC is not CPC. The characters around him in 2011 are not the same characters around him in 2011. In all honesty, Buhari is an honest man. I have made my feelings known to him that I cannot function in a new environment. I was with him in 2011 within a period of six months. I have been on the public scene for two to three decades in Nigeria. I have my goals and objectives. My being in politics is not for any pecuniary means. It is about issues that I think are fundamental to me, what I represent and the people I represent.

Why didn't you see the ruling party as the path to freedom in 2011?
I have told you that this is not about political party. What is party? Let no one deceive me with any label. Some of us work on convictions and principles. When we worked for Gen. Buhari and Bakare in 2011, we were largely influential to the manifesto of the Buhari/Bakare campaign. We said we could restructure Nigeria through elections. We have not abandoned our beliefs. That is our conviction. It is online. The twelfth item on the document is on restructuring. There is nothing of such in the APC manifesto.
What makes you think that your convictions are sublime and genuine?
My convictions are my convictions. We have not attacked anybody for believing in the change mantra. Why are they now attacking us for taking a position? We believe our beliefs are right, they also think their positions are right. We should go with our different views since March 28 is just around the corner. Why the blackmail?
Don't you think the ruling party is also not free from the situation you just painted?
I do not know about that. I am talking about the one I know. I do not trade in abuses. I engage people on salient issues. Now they are talking about corruption. If not that the world is coming to an end, is it some of the people in APC that will be talking about corruption? Individuals who are poster boys of corruption; some have cases before the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. The way some people are desperate for change, if some notable armed robbers were placed before them and they were told to chant change for such individuals, some would still shout it. For me, it is not about APC or PDP, there is nothing being put forward that is different.
We keep talking about corruption as if it is limited to only the federal level. Which of the states under APC can pass a corruption test? I once took a former governor of Oyo State, Adebayo Alao-Akala to the EFCC because he asked all the local governments in the state to award five kilometers of road at N50m each. I wondered how there would be such uniform road project. When the commission charged him, it was part of what he was charged with. But given what APC is doing in South-West now, if I see Alao-Akala today, I am going to apologise to him. A five kilometre of road awarded for N50m which I frowned at, is now awarded for N1bn. These are the change agents. When the elections dates were shifted within the law, we saw many things flying about. We read several vitriolic editorials on that postponement when things actually showed that the commission was not fully ready to conduct the elections. Local government elections were supposed to have held in Lagos State since October, no one has questioned that. I am certain that anybody who says he wants to fight corruption yet keeps the 1999 Constitution is a fraudster. This is because the constitution encourages corruption by giving immunity. This is part of the things the confab addressed. There are a lot of criminals in government who have enjoyed immunity over the years. They will not want it to be removed. Are we not in a democracy? Is there a law mandating that if A supports B, I must support same?.
What will your group do if the Presidents wins and reneges on his promise to implement the confab report?
When he met with us in Akure, he told us categorically that he would implement the confab report within the 12 months of his return to office. If he reneges, we will mount the barricade.
You don't think it could be late in the day then?
Nothing is going to be too late in the day. A philosopher said if we fight we can win. If we don't fight, we have lost. We can hold President Jonathan to the promise but we cannot hold APC to it because its leaders did not participate in it.@blackboxupdate
Nigeria Must Hold Elections Next Month -United Nations Insists

United Nations Secretary-General, Ban Ki-moon has urged the Federal Government to ensure that the new dates set for the general elections are maintained following the recent postponement.
The polls, originally scheduled for February 14, was rescheduled to March 28 and 11 April,2015 following appeals by the armed forces to delay the vote for six weeks within which to combat the Boko Haram terrorist threat.
In a statement on Friday, the Secretary-General welcomed commitments by the presidential candidates to respect the new calendar and commended the progress made by the Independent National Electoral Commission in the preparation for the elections, including the distribution of Permanent Voter Cards.
In addition, Ban urged all relevant national institutions to continue to work with INEC "to ensure all voters can exercise their constitutional right to participate in the elections freely and without intimidation."
He expressed strong concerns over reports of election-related violence and urged all political leaders to adhere to their commitments under the Abuja Accord, "to refrain from inflammatory statements and to immediately condemn any statements from their supporters that amount to an incitement to violence or subversion of the electoral process."
Ban reiterated that the UN would continue to closely follow developments in the country and that the Organisation was offering its full support to Nigeria at this important moment, particularly through the ongoing active engagement of his High-Level Representative to Nigeria, Mohamed Ibn Chambas.

The agitation for the actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra has taken a new dimension with a new leader of the struggle, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu declaring his readiness to fight all the way.
He said Nigeria would seize to exist by December 2015.
Kanu, who spoke at a gathering of members of defunct Biafra, including scores of its aged war veterans, vowed that he would not rest until the Republic is realised.
The event, held at Ngwo, Enugu State, was the maiden commemoration of Biafran Day on May 30th, in remembrance of the events of 1967 when the late Igbo leader, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu declared the Republic of Biafra.
Kalu, the Director of Radio Biafra used the occasion to unveil a multi- million naira cenotaph in memory of Biafra fallen heroes killed during the civil war.
He regretted that despite the declaration of the "No VICTOR, NO VANQUISH" after the Nigeria/Biafra civil war in 1970, successive governments including the present Goodluck Jonathan's led administration had continued to deliberately marginalise and make life unbearable for the Igbo nation and its people.
He, therefore, called on all genuine Igbo people across the globe to rise up and join the crusade of putting in place the Biafran Republic, adding that it was time for the Igbos, to pull out of Nigeria, which he described as a failed nation, where nothing works.
Kanu noted that it was unfortunate and painful that 47 years after the civil war, the Nigerian Federal Government had bluntly refused to pay soldiers who fought on the side of Biafra all their benefits and entitlements, whereas, all their counterparts in the North and Western parts of the country had received theirs.
The Radio Biafra boss said despite all odds, they remain eternally grateful to the Biafra leader, late Ojukwu, and others who laid down their lives for the struggle.
He warned the Nigeria Federal Government not to constitute a cog in the wheel of progress of the proposed Republic.
Decrying the situation in the country, he said, "It is the watershed in the history of the geographical expression called Nigeria. It is the aftermath of the mistake of the amalgamation of the Northern and Southern protectorates by Lord Lugard".
Kanu further regretted that 47 years after Ojukwu declared the Republic of Biafra, the reasons that led to his decision were still evident in Nigeria.
He decried the sufferings and agony being faced by common Nigerians as a result of corrupt and bad governance in the country.
He insisted that Nigeria is doomed and driven by world acclaimed selfish and corrupt leaders, who does not believe in the well being of the poor masses.
He pointed out that as long as the intention and purpose of the amalgamation of North and South were designed to cheat the South, the nation would never move forward, "because any country that makes injustice its watch word can never prosper".
According to him, no amount of National Conference can solve Nigeria's problem because of deep-rooted hatred among the different nationalities in the country.
Kanu further maintained that the only panacea to Nigeria's problems is to split it into different regions, calling on Igbos to embrace and keep faith with Biafra, which he assured, will definitely come to reality.
"There is no going back, by December 2015, Nigeria would have seized to exists; we shall fight until we get Biafra, if they don't give us Biafra, no human being will remain alive in Nigeria by that time; we shall turn everybody into corpses; you better go and buy your coffin".

TB Joshua Emerges 'Yoruba Man Of The Decade' As Soyinka, Awolowo Get Honoured

THE late sage and perhaps the most revered Yoruba leader, Chief Obafemi Awolowo has been named as the Yoruba Man of the century. The announcement made on Thursday by IrohinOodua, the pan-Yoruba media online also listed Professor Wole Soyinka and Pastor TB Joshua as outstanding Yoruba personalities that have made unequalled contributions to the upliftment of the glory and grandeur of the Yoruba people.
While Pastor TB Joshua was named as the Yoruba Man of the Decade, Professor Wole Soyinka was listed as the Yoruba Man of the Year 2014 in what represents the group's maiden edition. IrohinOdua describes Professor Soyinka as a "stainless steel and the most righteous of the living Yoruba faithful."
The statement was signed by the Editorial Board Chairman of IrohinOdua, Prince Babatunde Adeleke. IrohinOdua was established as the first pan-Yoruba news medium with an outreach of over half a million of mostly Yoruba people across the world.
According to the statement, the three personalities were selected after a careful consideration of the role each had played in the annals of Yoruba modern history regarding placing the Yoruba on the positive angle of global reckoning.
Eulogising Pastor TB Joshua, Prince Adeleke said, "amazing is the testimony of boost up from Nigeria and across the world by the poor, the rich; the haves and the have-nots, the high and low, but most astonishingly, people of all faith in Africa, Asia, America and across Europe, even in the remotest, hilly and isolated Islands that dot the great rivers and tributaries of the Pacific Ocean."

Scores Of Boko Haram Drowns In Lake Chad While Fleeing From Nigerian Army

A large number of Boko Haram insurgents have drowned in Lake Chad as they fled the bombardment by Nigerian Air Force.
Though the number of the dead terrorists was not given, it was said that many of them died as they fled the aerial attacks by NAF jets on Baga, the location of Multi-National Joint Taskforce base seized by the sect in January, 2015.
A statement by the Director, Defence Information, Maj. Gen. Chris Olukolade in Abuja on Saturday, said the insurgents had buried land mines in over 1,500 spots on the routes leading to the town.
It said all the land mines were skilfully cleared one after the other, noting that the mining of the grounds could not save the terrorists from the aggressive move of advancing troops.
"A large number of terrorists have drowned in Lake Chad as they fled the heavy bombardment by Nigerian Air force heralding the advance of Nigerian troops on mission to flush them out of Baga.
"Not even the strategy of mining over 1500 spots with land mines on the routes leading to the town could save the terrorists from the aggressive move of advancing troops.
"Many of the terrorists died while an unknown but substantial number of them fled with various degrees of injury, in the series of encounter along the routes of advance of the as troops headed for Baga," the statement added.
Olukolade said apart from the five anti-aircraft guns and the rifles captured from the terrorists, over 34 motorcycles and five vehicles including trucks being used for operations by the terrorists were destroyed in the course of the fighting as troops headed for Baga, noting that the troops finally began clearing the terrorists on arrival in the town early Saturday morning.
The Defence spokesman said a comprehensive cordon and search phase of military operation has now commenced to enable troops mop up arms and ammunition and also apprehend any terrorist who might be hiding in the vicinity.
The exercise, he added, would also determine details of the casualties inflicted or incurred in the course of the operations to clear Baga and environs of terrorists.
Olukolade said similar exercise is being carried out in over 15 locations namely Gajigana, Ngaze, Ngenzai, Marte Junction, Mile 90, Yoyo, Kekeno, Kukawa, Cross Kauwa, Kangarwa, Amirari, Kichimatari, Borokari Barati, Kauwa and other localities where troops have flushed out the terrorists in the operations preceding the entry to Baga.
"The troops are now dominating and conducting aggressive patrols in the locations; The morale of troops remain high," he stressed.
