Former Head of State Major General Muhammadu Buhari(rtd), BlackBox Nigeria can reliable confirmed had clinched the APC presidential ticket after winning over 47% vote cast at the ongoing APC Presidential Primaries at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.

GMB pulled a total of 3430 votes ahead of his closest rival Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso, who had 974 votes. Former VP, Atiku Abubakar came distant third with 954 votes,  Rochas Okorocha's votes are still being counted as at the time of filing this report while Sam Nda-Isaiah is yet to be counted.

We are here live at the higly anticipated All Progressive Congress Presidential Primaries where we have four major contestants.
In Alphabetical order they are
Abubakar Atiku
Muhammadu Buhari
Sam Nda'Isaiah
Rabiu Kwakwaso
Rochas Okorocha.

Continuing from BlackBox Nigeria updates across the night, sorting has begin in earnest, party faithfuls in tensed moods await the result. Whosoever wins would be squaring up against the incumbent President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, who has been endorsed by Peoples Democratic Party delegates to be the flag bearer for PDP.

As it stands, the remaining contest here happens to be between Atiku and Kwankwaso for the second position with Rochas giving a hot chase. As for Nda'Isaiah, the last time he got a vote, there was a loud applause in the stands. His agent appears to be cooling off. The call of Buhari as votes are being sorted is quite overwhelming and the agents here have had to substitute themselves due to the tiring task at hand.
 * It appears everyone here especially the media men are just waiting to break the news of Buhari's emergence...not much to break anyway because this is obvious...

8:50am
The poll has officially closed. Agents assigned to each of the 40 transparent ballot boxes have been directed to lock the boxes. Respective aspirants are to nominate two returning officers.

9:00am
Sorting in process as ballot papers are moved from smaller boxes to bigger ones.

9:35am
So far Muhammadu Buhari  is ahead of the other contenders. So far, no ballot has been identified with Sam Nda-Isaiah.

10:00am
So far Muhammadu Buhari and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso are ahead of the other three candidates, followed by Rochas Okorocha and Atiku Abubakar. Sam Nda-Isaia the last aspirant seems to have wasted 27 million in purchasing the form because his name has not been mentioned at all.

10:30am
Sam Nda-Isaia has only been able to get a vote for 27 million so far. The gossip among journalists present at Teslim Balogun Stadium have it that unpaid salaries of Leadership Newspaper staff might be responsible for their owner's disappointing outing. GMB still maintaining the lead with Red Cap Revolutionist, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, showing the north came divided. Atiku's purported dollar sharing might probably not be making the decided impact as he he struggling to maintain the 3rd position.

By-The-Way

Earlier in the day, one of the leading voices of APC, who lead Kwara Delegates, Sen. Bukola Saraki in a tweet said he commended the number of Nigerians (obviously inclusive of your darling BlackBox Nigeria) for staying up late to follow APC primaries.

"I must commend number of Nigerians that stayed up this late to follow surely Nigerians are ready 2 take control of their destiny," he tweeted.

10:50am
More the 1,100 ballots have been sorted out of 7, 214 votes with Muhammadu Buhari, maintaining an incredible lead against all odds, while Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso, trails behind. Other positions are maintained by Atiku Abubakar, Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, and Publisher of Leadership Newspapers, Sam Nda-Isaiah, in that descending other.

10:52am
Dramatically, Abubakar Kawu Baraje who had been announcing the names on the ballots just gassed out thereby transferring the role to Boss Mustapha. I wont blame him though, the sun is up and getting hot. Baraje though still standing beside Mustapha.

11:25am
who is still leading tweeted from , that the ongoing process is a task to freeing the nation from the shackles of clueless PDP
