EL-RUFAI ALLEGES PLOT BY FG TO KILL TAMBUWAL As Speaker Drags FG To Court

A former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory and Deputy National Secretary of APC, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, in Kaduna on Friday said the withdrawal of the security details of the Speaker, House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal, was a plot by the Federal Government the eliminate him(Speaker).
He alleged that the Speaker was one of the targets of snipers being purportedly groomed by agents of the government.
It would be recalled that sometimes ago, former President; Chief Olusegun Obasanjo had accused the President of grooming snipers and had about 1,000 Nigerians under watchlist.
It is obvious the last hasn't been heard about the Hon. Tambuwal drama as the Speaker on friday approached a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja to stop the President Jonathan led Federal Government from declaring his sit vacant and restoring his withdrawn security details.
The Speaker who has been linked with a gubernatorial ambition under the APC is through his counsel; Jubrin Okutepa (SAN) seeking from the court to declare as unlawful and unconstitutional, the attempt by the PDP to declare his sit at the house vacant due to his recent defection.
The Speaker want the court to keep him in office till
his tenure expires in 2015.
