Activities At Stand Still At Ekiti Varsity Over Workers Strike
Activities were paralyzed on Wednesday at the Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, following a total strike embarked upon by unions over non-payment of two months salaries and earned allowances.
The workers, under the aegis of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities, Non Academic Staff Union, and National Association of Academic Technology we gathered couldn't contain the development no more and had to embark on a total strike action until the government meets it's need.

It would be recalled that workers in the state had a running battle with the immediate past government of Governor Kayode Fayemi and the newly inaugurated Governor is now drenched with the responsibility of settling these crisis which Ayo Fayose inherited from his predecesor.
