Mrs Ajoke Risikat, one of the wives of juju legend, King Sunny Ade has formally launched her ambition to return to the Lagos State House of Assembly after she lost out of the ACN primaries in 2011.
BlackBox Nigeria learnt that Mrs. Adegeye who is currently the Commissioner incharge of the House of Assembly Commission is bidding to return following a certificate scandal which soiled her re-election bid in 2011. According to reports, her political opponents had rumoured that she didn't posses the required certificate which qualified her for the sit.
She has however come out with a copy of her WAEC certificate as certified by the examination body itself. The result which was obtained by BlackBox Nigeria showed that Mrs. Adegeye sat for the examinations in 2009 as a sitting member of the Assembly which shows that she was elected to the house without having the necessary qualifications.
A source close to Mrs. Adegeye but who would rather not be mentioned however refuted this claim saying Madam honourable has a previous O' Level result but only decided to sit for another one just to have all her papers at a sitting.
The source however failed to give adequate explanations as to why the politician is just coming out with the certificate and why she didn't present same or the previous results during her bid in 2011.
Mrs. Adegeye is set to slug it out at the primary election of the ruling All Progressive Congress with current rep Hon. Sultan Adeniji Adele who is the son of top Lagos politician and former Sport Commissioner, Chief Ademola Adeniji Adele.
