So i thought of introducing something really weird and quite funny. Its a new fashion trend and its trending in some parts of the world.....
I was minding my own business on the internet one fulfilling day when i stumbled on this; "DYED ARMPIT HAIR #freeyourpits" movement. I was very confused....yeah confused not surprised...because i kept wondering why someone would want to wear a dyed armpit around. So what happens when you have to wear a long sleeves shirt,do i have to walk with my hands on my head to flaunt my dyed armpits?

After recovering from the confusion or should I say fashion shock and seeing pictures of ladies with dyed armpits I started laughing hard....chaiii fashion!

This is how it all started, a young hairdresser Roxie Hunt in seattle originated the trend when she dyed Rain ,a co worker's  armpit hair blue.

'I have always wanted to color someone's pit hair... I asked my co-worker Rain if she would be down to let me dye her pit hair blue to match her hair color and she agreed, heartily,' she wrote.

After the experiment with the dye, pictures were posted on social media and the rest is history. Currently, there's a Tumblr page full of pictures of women with dyed armpit hair. #freeyourpits has also become a trending topic on the Twitter sphere.
I have always thought men could get away with the whole 'armpit hair' thing after seeing some movies with cute black men and bushy armpits.

Seriously, my opinion on this...? Disgusting.
This trend cannot work in nigeria o, especially in lagos except its for a costume celebration...imagine having to struggle to get on a danfo or molue bus with somebody that has dyed sweaty and sticky armpits on a hot afternoon...*rolls eyes*
The weather is not conducive in this part of the world for dyed armpits, even the "undyed" ones are unbearable.
I wont be surprised when i start seeing young  Nigerians with dyed armpits in 2015 because we are professional copycats...lol
Have a great day!
