All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday in Abuja said that the Bill of People living with Disability(PLWD) would be passed into law, if voted into power. The statement was made by ‎ Alh. Lai Mohammed, the National Publicity Secretary of APC.
Mohammed made this known during a  manifesto hour organised by the Centre for Democracy Development (CDD) for  the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressives Congress (APC), titled Manifesto hour: Political Parties and Citizens.
He noted that the PLWD had been marginilised in the public with little or no attention by the government and the society.
He said that APC would empower the PLWD and create an office at the Presidency for them where their voice would be heard.
"We have it in our manifesto that N5000 will be given to the vulnerable people with disability on a monthly basis.
"It may be small but it will go along way to solve some of their needs, such as for drugs, feeding among others," he said.

On the major challenges confronting Nigeria citizens, such as insecurity, Unemployment, Power and among others, he said that APC had charted a marshal plans to addressed them holistically.
He added that all the major problems confronting the country could be solved by blocking corrupt practices.
He noted that if elected, APC would put in place a public complaint ombudsman to watch and expose political officers engaging in corrupt practices, as immunity would not cover them while in the office.

On security, he averred that the party would address the menace by empowering the security forces with adequate training, improve their welfare among others.
"Boko Haram sects are not muslims  and they have no respect for any religion, we will address all of these and resuscitate all the Internally displace persons in the North-east back to their homes."

Also speaking at the debate, Mr Bolaji Abdullai, former, Minister of Sport said that APC would improved on Education.

Abdullai said that APC would restructure educational system, especially Primary and secondary schools, adding that student that failed the Junior secondary School (JSS) Examinations would no longer be sent to technical schools.
"The norm in the country is that any student that failed the JSS examination are pushed to the technical schools, it will no longer be like that during our tenure."
He said that APC has a robust plan for the Nigeria Youths, such as Jobs creation, training among others.

It was observed by BlackBox Nigeria correspondent   that the Peoples Democratic Party representative was however absent at the debate.
