Breaking! Lagos Deputy Speaker, Kolawole Taiwo Loses 5th Term Bid

BlackBox Nigeria can authoritatively report that the All Progressive Congress has been dealt a major blow in Lagos as the Deputy Speaker of the state, Honorable Musbau Kolawole Taiwo has been defeated at his Ajeromi Ifelodun Constituency I.
The 53 year old who has been in the Assembly since 1999 was defeated by the PDP candidate, Dayo Famakinwa as the people of the area which include the popular Ajegunle came out en mass to discontinue Taiwo's legislative career.

The ruling APC would now have to start shopping for a new speaker as Hon. Taiwo had been earlier favoured to take over from outgoing Speaker, Rt. Hon. Adeyemi Ikuforiji who is also not returning having initially contested for the governorship ticket of the APC.
