Juan Arango embodied the biting spirit of Barcelona star Luis Suarez by biting on the shoulder of an opponent on Saturday.
Just before the full-time whistle blew, Club Tijuana were 4-3 down against Monterrey in the Mexican league game and Venezuelan midfielder Arango took out his frustration by chomping down on Jesus Zavala.

Zavala went to ground in agony then Monterrey players surrounded the referee to bring the bite to the attention of the referee; however, no immediate action was taken against Arango,
who scored from a superb free kick for Tijuana in their home loss.

The 34-year-old, who played for Real Mallorca and Borussia monchengladbach before leaving Europe for Mexico last year, could face a lengthy ban upon retrospective action.
The moment evoked memories of Uruguay striker Suarez's bite on Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini at World Cup 2014 - the third time
that the former Liverpool and Ajax man assaulted a fellow footballer with his teeth.

Arango is a Venezuela legend having made 121 appearances and scored 23 goals - since making his debut for the country in 1999
and is regarded as the among the best players the South American nation has ever produced.
