In an apparent continuation of what seems to have become a trend in Nigeria, BlackBox Nigeria has gathered that some supporters of President-Elect, General Muhammadu Buhari are set to also trek in the Queen's kingdom.
According to a report by APC in the United Kingdom, a Nigerian in the UK, Mr. Bunmi Ogunleye is set to embark on a "solidarity walk" for Buhari in the UK.
Bunmi Ogunleye who plans to go on a 7 kilometres walk by road on May 29 as the President-Elect is being inaugurated plans to trek from Stratford Tube Station beginning at 12noon.
Ogunleye has also confirmed that already, five people have signify interest to join him in the walk which would take him from Stratford Station to Northunberg Avenue where the Nigeria High Commision is located.
Ogunleye believes Buhari can really change Nigeria for the better saying: "He started War against Indiscipline (WAI) which helped to fight corruption. We are faced with the same problem that we had then. I say to people, if we had followed Buhari's policies up till now, Nigeria will not be the way it is now."
"For once in the history of Nigeria you could feel the sense of pride and hope that things are going to get better.
"The best thing to do is to support our new government and make Buhari's tenure a successful one", Ogunleye futher stated.
