The All Progressives Congress have postponed its governorship primary election from 15th November to the 2nd of December. 

The party did not however state why it postponed its primaries but it might be linked to the situation of too many candidates showing interest for the Governorship slots and it is suspected that there is a need for more jaw jaw and consultation between the aspirants.

In Lagos alone, over six people have shown interest for the ticket. These include Akinwunmi Ambode, Adeyemi Ikuforiji, Kadiri Hamzat, Leke Pitan, Tola Kasali, Ganiyu Solomon and some other who are yet to officially declare their ambition.
