The crisis rocking the upper chamber of the National Assembly worsened on Wednesday when PDP members forced the Senate President, David Mark, to adjourn sittings till next week amidst protests from their APC colleagues.

The PDP caucus in the red chamber, was protesting the alleged maltreatment by President Goodluck Jonathan and the leadership of the party ensured that no topic was tabled for discussion.‎

The crisis rocking the National Assembly doesn't appear to be getting to an end as BlackBox Nigeria further gathered that most of the Senators elected under the ruing PDP might be gearing to have a ‎fresh battle with the Presidency over what they termed as the President's support to their State Governors during last weekend's ward congresses across the country.
