Five PDP Governors Meet Obasanjo, Begs For His Support For PDP, Prostrates!

While the entire country was yesterday agog with the opposition APC holding her governorship primaries across the country, some Governors of the PDP extraction silently visited former President Olusegun Obasanjo at his Abeokuta residence.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered that the governors who were led by Akwa Ibom chief executive; Godswill Akpabio begged Obasanjo not to abandon the party at thbis critical moment.
The entourage which also included Isa Yuguda, Sule Lamido, Liyel Imoke and Babangida Aliyu of Bauchi, Jigawa, Cross-river and Niger states respectively appealed to the ex-President come to the rescue of the party and the country at large.
BBN also got hold of an image showing the five governors protrating for Obasanjo in appeal.
The former president and President Goodluck Jonathan have in recent times been enmeshed in a battle of wits which has led to public criticisms and utterances rather deemingly of their sensitive positions.
