Obanikoro Wants To Beat Tinubu AGAIN!

As the race to occupy elective positions in 2015 thickens, one place to watch in the political theatre of Lagos State is Eti-Osa LCDA, the official residence of All Progressives Congress bigwig, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the self acclaimed 'Lion of Bourdillon'.
The Antagonist in this epic dramatic centre of politics would be no other person than the young and cerebral Babajide Obanikoro, son of the former Minster of State for Defence and Peoples Democratic Party most likely Governorship flagbearer in Lagos State for 2015, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro.
In a political power play many keen observers have termed classic, young Obanikoro emerged PDP House of Assembly flagbearer for Eti-Osa Constituency 2, which places his desire to be a lawmaker directly in the domain of the 'Lion of Bourdillon'.
It would be recalled that Ibrahim Babajide Obanikoro who one can refer to as a greenhorn and spineless one at that had floored fierce looking Tinubu in 2011, when he contested as Chairman of Eti-Osa LCDA, beating almighty Asiwaju in his polling booth.
The theatric manipulation by the then Action Congress of Nigeria, turned the victory tide against Obanikoro that even a post election court victory did change much as the Lion would not allow a meek Zebra rule over him.
If APC successfully manipulated its way then, the level of voters' enlightenment might make it difficult this time, once beaten twice shy so the saying goes. And considering the direct involvement of Senior Obanikoro, the game might just be more than set to put 'bitter leaf in Tinubu's eyes'.
A resident of Dolphin estate, Tope Akinola, told BlackBox Nigeria that the election would really be interesting as most youths are determined to ensure Ibrahim Obanikoro not only wins, but enjoy his mandate.
"Here, it is Obanikoro all the way. We are wiser now, we would vote and defend our votes. IBO is our man for LAHA 2015, no manipulation would take that away," he said.
