OUTSTANDING! JCI Nigeria's Paul Akingbola Becomes World Public Speaking Champion

Nigeria's name was once again put on the world map for outstanding performance as JayCee Paul Akingbola, one of the Nigerian delegates to Junior Chamber International 2014 World Congress held in Leipzig, Germany, became the World Public Speaking Champion.

The JCI World Congress 2014 took place from November 24-29, 2014.

Akingbola who is a graduate of Foreign Languages, University of Ilorin and the Managing Director of a Voicemania, a Public Speaking and Leadership institute, as always been a passionate crusader of social change.

The multilingual poet, educator and author earlier in the year was also crowned, 2014 Champion at the JCI Area Public Speaking Championship held in Lome, Togo.

Junior Chamber International (JCI) is a non-profit international non-governmental organization of young people between 18 and 40 years old. It has members in about 80 countries, and regional or national organizations in many of them. It encourages young people to become responsible citizens and to participate in efforts towards social and economic development, and international co-operation, good-will and understanding.
