Algeria made history in the CAF Champions league when they became the first team in the history of the Competition to present three teams in the final Group stage of the prestigious African showpiece. This was made possible because in additional to defending champions ES Setiff, the other two Algeria teams came out to show African and the world in general that the North African Country is now a force to reckon with footballing in Africa. However the once jubilant Algeria fans have been battling a mood swing as three of there contingent have been drawn alongside each other in the group stage sudanise side El-Merriekh the only odd one out in group B.
