Add BBN on 2BAFB965  When the curtain drew on the 2013/14 Nigerian professional league season last year, many enthusiastic Football fans thought the fire powers of Rabiu Ali of Kano Pillars, Ufom Udoh Of Enyinma, Emem Eduok of Dolphin and Gbolahan Salami of Warri wolves will lead the Countries Continents to Continental glory.
However the inability of NPFL clubs to keep top stars, as well as the inconsistency in the form of players have once again ensured the country does not extend his dominance to the Continental showpiece. It is noteworthy that former Dolphins FC of Port Harcort hitman Emem Edouk lead the line and scored some important goals for new club Esperance of Tunisia on the road to the playoff berth.

Amidst the fracas, one club stood out, and that is non other than Delta state Sponsored Warri wolves, backed by the fire of former 3sc of Ibadan,Enyimba of Aba and Mamelodi Sundown of South Africa hitman, Lagos Island born Gbolahan Salami; the Caf Confederation Cup contender have given Football lovers and Nigerians in general a sigh of releave and glimpse of hope in this season's Continental showpiece. The playoff round is still a long way to go but a good showing against Ac Leopards in Congo could lead the Oil-rich club to the group stage of the competition.
