Nigeria U20 striker Taiwo Awoniyi has revealed that his team's ambition is to win the 2015 Fifa
U20 World Cup billed to commence on May 31 in New Zealand. The striker whose goals helped the Flying Eagles win the African Youth
Championship in Senegal and also seal a place at the world championship is part of the team currently training in Germany, and has said they turbo charged to face any team in the
competition.
"We are yet to watch any videos of our opponents, but our coaches have concentrated fully on preparing us for whatever challenges we will come across. We are ready. "Our biggest strength is outside the pitch of play. It is the unity among the players. We are a big,
happy family.
"Football is unpredictable. We are African champions and we want to prove ourselves again at the World Cup. I don't want to think of
failure in New Zealand because I believe in this team," he concluded.
