Super Falcons Proceed To Next Round Without Kicking A Ball

Nigeria's senior women national team has qualified for the next round of the Rio 2016 Olympics qualifiers following the withdrawal of Mali.
The Super Falcons, who were expected to host Mali on Saturday, May 9 before playing the return leg a week later, sealed a spot to
the next stage without kicking the ball.
Confirming the development General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation, Dr Sanusi Mohammed said the withdrawal of Mali was due to logistic problems.
"Yes, Mali has withdrawn from playing us in the final qualifiers. The Mali Football Federation said that they do not have enough resources to make the clash," Mohammed said.
