Man City Triump As Confused Referee Gives Wrong Man Red Card

Manchester City kept their Premier League title
hopes alive with a routine win on Saturday, but
all the talk was of the performance of referee
Neil Swarbrick after another case of mistaken
identity.
Gareth McAuley was wrongly shown a red card
after just 65 second, although it was team-mate
Craig Dawson who was the offender in fouling
Wilfried Bony when clean through on goal.
City made their numercial advantage count with
Bony opening the scoring with his first goal for
the club before Fernando added a second before half-time.
City took their foot off the gas in the second half, but man of the match David Silva had the final word with the third goal late on as City got back to winning ways after back-to-back defeats.
