More Nigerians have continued to react to the Thursday withdrawal of the Security details of the Speaker of the House Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal by the Inspector General of Police over the the Green Chamber's helmsman's defection to the opposition APC.

Speaking in Lagos, an aspirant for the state of Assembly Comrade Moshood Olanrewaju Aluko posited that the Nigerian Police in this show of crass partisanship and gross mis-use of power to favor the ruling PDP has further vindicated the APC's position that the President is highly undemocratic in nature.

While reacting to the statement credited to the spokesman of the Nigeria Police, Emmanuel Ojukwu that "In view of the recent defection by the Right Honourable Aminu Waziri Tambuwal ... the Nigeria Police Force has redeployed its personnel attached to his office," Aluko stated that this development is a show of sheer recklessness on the part of the Nigerian Police who have decided to connive with the ruling PDP to truncate democracy in the country.

Also reacting to the withdrawal of the Speakers's security details the Chairman of the All Progressive Congress in Rivers State disclosed that "We wish to call on Nigerians to condemn this affront on the fourth citizen of our nation and insult on our representatives ... It is the constitutional right of Tambuwal to freely associate with any party of his choice."

Comrade Moshood Aluko (CAMO) who is seeking to represent Oshodi/Isolo Constituency II at the Lagos State House of Assembly however disclosed that he was overwhelmed with the Speaker's decision to a part of glory by joining the APC. In his words Aluko said, "I am also using this opportunity to welcome an honorable man to the progressive path. I welcome the number four citizen of the nation to the midst of the progressives, I believe he has studied the caliber of people in our great party, studied the party's manifesto and discovered that PDP was a mistake but I thank GOD for Rt. Honourable Aminu Waziri Tambuwal for discovering the right path, a party with a developmental agenda that will give Nigerians the desired CHANGE . I expect more defectors to our party soon because PDP is a sinking ship. I once again congratulate the honorable speaker for this great step in the right direction."
