President's Goodluck Ebele Jonatha's candidacy as the ruling party's consensus candidate might be facing fresh threats as two other people have chastised the party's decision to print only one presidential for.

Son of former Nigerian Prime minister, Dr. AbdulJelil Tafawa-Balewa have disclosed that the party needs to explain why the presidential form is unavailable for him to purchase. Tafawa Balewa disclosed recently that except the PDP is a communist party, it must come out to defend itself because Nigeria was in a democracy.

Another Presidential aspirant under the PDP, Mrs. Akasoba Duke-Abiola who is the Akasoba of Kalabari and Chairperson of the Akasoba Centre for Peace and Conflict Resolution (ACPCR) has disclosed that it is a fight till finish until the PDP does the right thing.
It would be recalled that Governors elected under the Peoples Democratic Party had earlier adopted the president as their consensus candidate which is now being contested.

President Jonathan on Thursday picked the single Presidential ticket of the PDP which is now facing a controversial run.‎
