BASEONE
"Am a MadMan cause am lyrically insane" – BASE ONE

With a style so intriguing, Base One real name Isaac Sotunde is seen as one of the Nigerian acts who follows the footsteps of the late lyrical genius; Dagrin. This is because people believes he also delivers his punch lines just as the Chief Executive Omoita does.

Asserting that his style of music which was acquired on and is for the "streets" led to the creation of his own acronym, BASE ONE which stands for "Be A Street Entertainer" (BASE) and the number One representing his uniqueness.

His love for music emerged from influences of hip-hop icons like SnoopLion, Lil Wayne and the influence of the yoruba lifestyles of his Ipaja Hood where he was raised. Hence his style delivery which is a mixture of street languages and slangs alongside yoruba and english languages was developed from musical influences and his surroundings.

Singles released thus far by Base One include "Five Fingas", "Surulere" and "Werey Re o!", "Lyrical Onyeara", "Mario". He was also featured on Olamide's YBNL album on the track titled 'Industreet' which also had the 'alaga Ibile', Reminisce on it.

He has however found it very difficult breaking into the 'A' list even with his versatility.

DHARSAW

He was severally referred to by a lot of people as the new Dagrin in this past but years down the line, this rap phenomenon is yet to step into those shoes. Obviously he sounds even more like Dagrin when compared to all the other 'Dagrin wanna bes'

Like the late Dagrin, Dharsaw whose real name is OLUMIDE OLOKO hails from IJEBU ODE in OGUN STATE. He Is a young, talented and versatile rapper and presently an undergraduate of international Relations and history at the University of Ilorin.

Dharsaw started rapping in secondary school and through his rap adventures he came in contact with T.Frizzle the audio visual producer afterwhich he was signed to H2O FRIZZLE & BIZZLE ENT.
He is Currently Signed To Shabba Records and is working on his debut album 'GROWN MAN'S BUSINESS'. Dharsaw has featured on so many other tracks and is at the verge of taking over the Nigerian Music Industry completely with his flows with indegineous tongue. He recently revealed that he gets his inspirations from the legendary Chief Commander Ebenezer Obey, MODENINE,NIGGA RAW and LORD OF AJASA.

Dharsaw is well talented and his tracks are nice but like many other talents bound around this part of the world he hasn't broken into the 'A' list of the Nigerian music industry.‎

ISOLATE (ARA FADA)

Isolate, originally named Akan'o Oluwadamilare Adetutu hails from Ogbomosho "Agbo'le Eleshin-metta California" in Oyo state, Nigeria.
Born and raised in Lagos, he also attended schools in Lagos. This budding crooner is the only child of his parent.

He signed his first major recording deal with Mo'bb Ent owned by rapper Gino and also recorded his hit single "Ara" with the same label. He influences his fan with his indept yoruba skills and distinctive yoruba phrase and proverb. He said he was inspired by the likes of Epo akara, Haruna Ishola, baba ara, jimmy cliff and wyclef

ISOLATE is been referred to as ARAFADA because of his first single ''ARA'''
He is an energetic and thrilling performer and he has performed alongside big acts on stage. He has featured in some hit like 'gboro' by Dagrin. He has also been involved in major controversies in the past with many saying 9ice's 'photocopy' was directed at him over his copying of the Alapomeji's style.

What is however surprising is that despite his ability and great attitude towards his musical career, AraFada hasn't broken into the limelight as one of the 'A' musicians in Nigeria.

...to be continued!
