See Who Will Lead AC Milan Football Club
Sinisia Mihajlovic has revealed he will be AC Milan's new coach within the next two weeks after attending an event organised by a sponsor of the club.
The former Inter defender recently left Sampdoria after spending two years in charge and is now the favourite to replace Filippo Inzaghi at San Siro.
The 46 year old spoke to journalists at the event in Le Mans and said: "Do not worry, in two weeks I will be the coach of Milan."
Carlo Ancelotti was Milan's first choice but has opted to take a year out of the game after he was sacked by Real Madrid, which meant they have instead turned their attention to Mihajlovic.
However, the Rossoneri are yet to agree a severance package with Inzaghi after offering him a €600,000 pay off, which could delay
the Serbian's arrival.
Further reports in Italy have claimed the coach will visit Milan on Tuesday to map out his plans for next season with the club's QCEO Adriano Galliani.
